barcanista:You would be surprised to hear how much your GEJ, his wives and his forty thieves have stolen from Nigeria in the recent times. If all these crooks called politicians declare their assets, you would be surprise to see that El-Rufai's wealth is just like that of a housemaid to them. NB: I am not justifying corrupt practices though. All assets declared must be investigated so that we can start catching the thieves from there. |
This is a welcome idea. All these staff schools are huge money making ventures for the institutions and I can also tell you that the school fees charged in those schools most especially for non staff children are so high. Unilag Staff school (Unilag Int. Secondary Sch.) charge as high as over 700k per session. Same in Yaba Tech, UNIPORT, UNIABUJA, YABALEFT (Psycho)and some other institutions across the country. If they make such amount of money, why should the government be the one paying for their staff The funny thing is that, the institution authority cannot even clearly account for the money made by the schools. |
1deadlugard:Based on all the comments I have read here, I want to say that the Igbos are not well trained as most of them lack courtesy and manners. They just believe they can open their mouths to spit out anything they desire. God would deliver you people from your Biafra ruse. |
I have been seriously struggling hard to curtail myself over the recent agitation for Biafra state by our brothers from the Eastern part of the country. Lately, some people floated a radio station called “Biafra radio” located in Aba & London where various lies and hate messages are being broadcasted to the innocent people. Some even went to the point of producing Biafra I.D, Int. Passport, Number plate to mention but a few. My question is; why the sudden re-echoing of Biafra state after Jonathan’s administration? I could remember vividly that some top Igbo leaders (Political & cultural) come out to strongly condemn Henry Okah for his agitation for Biafra state during Jonathan’s administration saying “Nigeria is one & we are part of it”. Biafra campaign has taken a new dimension but I have not seen an Igbo leader coming out to condemn it in the recent time. Should I just assume that “the call for Biafra state only get pronounced when the Igbos are no longer popular in the game”. This action can be termed as INSURGENCE which is capable of generating civil unrest where several souls of innocent people could be wasted. I am tired of people’s lives been wasted on daily basis. Something has to be done now before the matter degenerate into something messy. Remember, Boko Haram started from a harmless agitation but today several innocent souls have been wasted. To an average Igboman on the street, you would hear “we want Biafra no matter what it takes” but they have forgotten in a hurry what happened in 1967 (6 July 1967 – 15 January 1970 -2 years, 6 months, 1 week and 2 days). Perhaps most of them have not been born by then. Before you open your mouth to say ”we are prepared for anything to get Biafra” just look for an elderly person in your neighborhood who went through the thick and thin of Nigeria Civil War for a proper ordeal and re-appraise yourself if you are truly ready for another episode of it. The fact that ex-president Jonathan loss an election or the current president is not from the South is not enough to pitch your tent against Nigeria as a nation. Even GEJ has overcome the trauma from the loss of election, how come we refuse to allow the wound heal. Whether we like it or not, Buhari is the president of Nigeria and he would be there till he either complete his tenure or he is voted out (if he doesn’t meet our expectations). All that the new administration need from all Nigerians is cooperation and not ethnic based criticism. The recent protest in Onitsha over the relocation of some Boko Haram suspects to a Federal Prison in Anambra state is not called for. Do you know that we have several Boko Haram suspects in Prisons in Lagos& Ogun state (classified info)? Ever since their relocation from the North in 2013, have you heard any issue about it? Definitely NO! The federal government owns the prisons, they can decide to put any suspect they so desire in it at their own prerogative. The protest in Onitsha is a perceived way of antagonizing any decision or policies of the current administration. Please pardon some of my words if I sound so harsh. I am not saying that you should not negotiate for your disintegration; all I am saying is that; the negotiations need to be done in such a manner that would not bring about blood bath. I know one thing for sure that, if Nigeria gets better today, hardly would anyone be talking about Biafra again. We need to move away from ethnic or tribal politics if we want the best for ourselves and our unborn children. Nigeria belongs to all of us, let us see, take and accept Nigeria as the option we have. I admonish everyone (Yoruba, Hausa & Igbo) to come together for the unity and progress of Nigeria. Hello house, I need a help on the above stated device. I have Sony BRAVIA KDL-40XBR6 LCD HD TV "40" which was sent from abroad. It works so well without any issue. I can say it is an ideal TV set. However, I have an issue with the channels. The TV has two options if you want to scan for Tv stations (Digital & analogue) ANALOGUE search scan for as many local stations it can get (AIT, STV, CHANNELS, ONTV.......) DIGITAL search scan for "cable" stations like Dove media, Orisun, DSTVmobile, Cool Tv, WAP TV, E!, e, Starguide,............ up to about 120 stations. The challenge here is that the cable/digital stations hardly show. It would sometimes provide information on the current programme showing or scheduled programme. If the weather is cool, it would seems like the stations what to show but later display "station not tuned". Currently I can watch ST Guide (startimes guide), AMC (Africa Music Channel) on digital but other are not showing. Note: I do not have any decoder connected to the TV, it is just a feature on the TV that enable you watch digital stations without subscription to any pay tv (as stated in the TV manual). Also, I currently use those local antenna which uses buster that is sold for 1500 naira. There is no port on the TV for satellite connection. What can I do to get those digital stations mentioned above showing. See some of the TV pictures. Advise needed.

There are classes for every products. Some iPhone 6 cost over 700k while same iphone6 cost 105k. The two products are original and came from the same Apple. The earlier 10m wrist watch is customized (designed for the biggest babes & dudes) while 32k version was made for public purchase. The funny thing is that you can hardly differentiate between the two except you know much about jewelry and you have the two present in your hand at the same time. I know Aisha Buhari is a big babe, from wealthy family and she's also industrious (owns a very big beauty institute in kaduna with several training contracts from top oil coy) but I doubt if she can take such an amount of money to purchase wrist watch except it is a gift. No big deal all the same even if the watch is the 10m own, after all she owns the watch even before they came into power (No bi 9ja govt money). |
3 your infidelity .. This is a controversial one,I believe in faithfulness ,let me make that clear first of all.Women being emotional beings feel the guilt of infidelity more than men.It is wrong to cheat,I will not condone it and by Gods grace will never .However,if you happen to err as humans often do and are remorseful, repent and confess to your God and take that secret to your grave. Revealing it can be disastrous and will serve no purpose.Just go and sin no more .If you are a habitual cheat,of course you should seek divorce rather than living in deception.[/quote]Keeping this from your hubby is like seating on a keg of gun powder. If he gets to find out by himself most especially where you were once an Olosho (Hooker), your own don finish. |

[print] President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday advised the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, not to restrict any probe he would want to carry out to his administration alone. He said Buhari must extend his probe beyond his regime or else the probe will be seen as witch-hunting. Jonathan made his position known at the valedictory session of the Federal Executive Council which he presided over at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. He also said those calling for his administration’s probe should also add that the probe should be extended to the way oil wells and fields were allocated in the past. The President also made it clear that he has not dissolved his cabinet as all ministers are expected to attend inauguration dinner on Thursday in their official capacity. http://www.punchng.com/news/dont-single-out-my-administration-for-probe-jonathan/ |
You can't blame the guy until you hear the full gist. Remember, Tiwa slapped a traffic warden around Adetokunbo Ademola street in V.I (very close to Eko hotel). some few months ago. I think the two of them have issues and they would find a way of settling their differences on their own. Just this week too, rumour has it that Ini Edo's marriage headed to the rock with the husband asking for the refund of the bride price paid on her |

Former Nollywood actress, Caroline Danjuma welcome baby girl by Adedayo Ademuwagun One of the buildings inside the premises of the Synagogue Church in Lagos collapsed on Friday afternoon . Dozens of people died and others were injured. After the collapse happened on Friday, church members blocked the collapse site and prevented journalists and officials from state agencies from entering. The members were violent. They assaulted journalists and broke some of their equipment. The Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) boss, Abimbola Animashaun, and her team were prevented from entering. Officials from Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) were also assaulted and prevented from going in. The exact number of casualties still cannot be ascertained. On Saturday morning I was at the church to cover the progress of rescue operations and find out how things were getting on. Inside the premises, dozens of church members manned the gate leading to the collapse site and barred anyone from going in or out except their church members and essential rescue officials. Myself, and journalists from organisations such as STV, AIT, the Associated Press and others waited outside the site for hours. The church people on the ground were very aggressive and refused to attend to us or let us do our job. It was clear that they didn’t want journalists and the rest of the world to know what was going on in there. There were many police cars parked around, from the church entrance to the collapse site. The police officers saw what the church people were doing to the journalists and the officials from the state agencies, but they just continued to look. Personally, I approached some of the policemen and challenged them to do something to stop this unlawful action by the church people, but the officers barely even looked at me. Around 11 am, the DG of LASEMA, Femi Osanyintolu, arrived at the church and promptly agreed to address journalists. He was very journalist-friendly. He confirmed to us that the church members had been hostile to his men and said his men were inside the site doing rescue operations. He also said 17 people were dead while 21 were in hospital as of 1 am Friday. Meanwhile, there was a woman weeping on the side-walk and murmuring about her relative who was inside the building when it collapsed. She didn’t know if the relative was dead or in hospital or even still stuck under the rubble. Apparently, no one had addressed families of victims. This was 24 hours after the building collapse. I asked the Mr. Osanyintolu if the relatives of victims had been informed about what was going on. He confirmed that no one had yet done this. I and the other journalists demanded to be allowed into the site. The LASEMA boss reasoned with us and tried to lead us and his men into the site, but the church people manning the gate repelled us. The LASEMA boss was furious and ordered them to let him in, but they didn’t move. The LASEMA boss IS the head of all emergency operations in Lagos. The boss turned back to meet the church’s security chief to have a word with him. After some time, they reluctantly agreed, but we were again blocked at the gate to the site. The police officers continued to watch. Meanwhile, some young female officials of the church were sending the DPO up and down the walkway like their errand boy. We asked him why he and his men are watching all this happen. He murmured incoherently. I asked one of the journalists from a TV station why the police were acting like the Synagogue’s police force when they ARE the Nigerian police force. He replied, “He who pays the piper dictates the tune.” I looked at all the police cars. Nearly all of them had this printed on them: Donated By Emmanuel TV. Emmanuel TV is the media arm of the Synagogue church. Finally, we had to fight our way into the site, following the DG’s lead. He wanted to try and squeeze us past the thug-like youths who were holding the gate viciously. Some journalists made it in, but I stayed back for a moment to record their militant behaviour. So they attacked me and pulled me off the back of the DG. He tried to pull my arm in, but we were outnumbered. The police at this gate were practically helping the church people keep us out by force. As the youths mobbed me and were going to beat me, I appealed to the police officers looking at us to help me. They didn’t say a word. The police woman among them just hissed and walked away. I could have been shot by those people. But an old man among them intervened in the nick of time and led me out of their way. Later that afternoon, the head of the church TB Joshua granted a press conference, where he claimed that it was an aircraft hovering in the sky that somehow caused that building to crumble. Churches behaving badly This Synagogue incident was the latest, not the first, show of cult-like behaviour in churches in Nigeria. Large churches in the country often work like cults. They build walls around their activities and try to keep the outside world from knowing what’s going on inside. So even when the government or the media tries to look into their affairs, they grow aggressive. Last year, some tax officers of the Ogun state government went to the Winners Chapel church in the state to demand unpaid taxes and do some checks. Church members prevented them from going in and attacked them. This incident also shows that these large churches in the country are so powerful that they can molest people, break the law and do whatever they like on their premises and no one, not even the government, will take serious action against them. Some of my colleagues from the other media houses were jotting down the names of the policemen so that they could put it in the media. They would not be the first to do that. If things turn out well, they’ll put the names in the media and then people would look at it and say, “Oh, this is bad.” If things turn out REALLY well, the details would go viral and then the police force would find out and probably sack the officers. But that hasn’t quite changed anything so far. In the past, there have been numerous YouTube videos of police officers doing something wrong. But things have effectively remained the same. With what happened at the Synagogue on this day, it will be very hard for me to continue to trust the police to protect me or defend me in future. |
I don't beleiev this story/video. I know this very area very well and everybody around that side can confirm that that area is a flying zone for various aircraft. I was around the church one-day when one Arik plane came so low that we could clearly read all that was written on it. My questions are, if truely it was an attack (which I doubt) how come NEMA official were initially prevented from moving closer to the building and victims? Also, the church security attacked the emergency rescue officials and told them that their services was not needed? It was worse to the point that the NEMA guys have to pack their things and left the venue and their DG had to make a press briefing on it afterwards. it was there after (the following day) that the church security allowed them to enter the premises. What ever happened? Their is God oooooo |
