The intake air temperature sensor in my Infinity QX4 1999 model is missing from the car and really causing the vehicle to malfunction. My QX4 Infinity 1999 does not move as fast as it used to and jerks and the plugs are showing black carbon deposit as well as the exhaust too. I have changed the plugs, fuel pump and filter, air flow meter, distributor and the problem persists. The odometer goes below one when I stop the car as if it wants to quench and goes up again. Consumes more fuel than usual. Please can anyone help me on how to get this problem solved as I have tried a full scan which detected air flow meter. I have changed it but the problem persists.

My Benz 190E was as reliable as air, that is simply a machine. The ride can go up to 180km/hr and still has its stability. I bought it at 150,000 miles and sold it at 240,000 miles without changing the engine. I just couldn't see my self watch the new owner drive the ride out of my house as my wife was the one that handed over the car.

That is a Toyota ride and can never regret buying one, the parts are available and cheap with a fairly good fuel economy. My friend is using it for the past 2 years and has never complained.
