Pple have diff reasons why they deactivate their accounts. Some of the reasons were explained above.
But one of my friend's story was very pathetic. He is a well know monicker on NL. He uses a mobile gadget to update his NL account. But on this faithful day he said he mistakenly clicked on" deactivate account" instead of "update profile" on his blackberry device. I don't know how true this his story was cos I have never tried going there. |

babygirlfl: First of all if your going to be marrying one of us, you have to know how to address us. We are not delta Igbo, ( I have no problem whatsoever with Igbo people. Just love to be called with what we really are) we are Deltans or Anioma or if you want to be specific you say Ukwani, Aniocha or Ika.
To your question, generally it's not expensive unless of course the family is a greedy one. In my place the bride price is returned and the traditional marriage is hosted by the brides family with or without the support of the grooms family while the groom's family sponsors the church/court or whatever marriage they choose to do. Thanks on that first paragraph |
Romance › Re: Sex On The First Date; Yes Or No? by komek(m): 8:25pm On May 09, 2015 |
missclasssy: When a guys wants to have sex with a lady on the first date it means the guy sees the lady as nothing but an object of sex. It means the only reason he was attracted to her was because of her sex appeal. Sex on the first date is wrong and it shouldn't be done. The first date is when partners get to know more about each other. It's like the ignition button needed to start the car that drives the relationship. A kiss is okay on a first date, but not sex.
I don't blame any guy that would want to do this, I think the blame should go to the ladies. Most ladies portray themselves in way that exhalts their physical attributes above every other quality they have that men only see that part of them.
Sleeping with her and tasting her goodies becomes the only thing in the mind of the guy so when he goes on a first date, the only thing on his mind is sex. Let me educate u a little about a gurl and a guy. Everyman has the pics of his kinda woman in his head. If he sees her, sex might be the last thing that would come to his mind. Some women to some men are just for sex and nothing more. No matter how u wasted his time befor giving him ur thing he will still run. Personally, I like slim, tall dark gurls. As soon as I see the above described ladies I will always stand still. Any other gurl that comes to me with the best xter, prayerful, God fearing, Rich, fair, short, has a Masters, Phd, best cook, etc are just waisting her time. So if u like sleep with him on the first day or last days o, he knows what he wants. |

Romance › Re: What Can A Guy Gain From A Relationship Without Sex? by komek(m): 2:52pm On May 08, 2015 |
missclasssy: A relatioship should never be a parasitic one where on partner feeds and gains at the expense of the other. It should be a symbiotic one which benefits both parties.
The primary reason for attraction is the defining factor as regards this issue. If all that attracts a guy to a lady is her sexual appeal, then I don't see why he would be expecting to gain something else from her.
There are other things that should attract a guy towards a lady, such as the level of education she has attained, her wit, a talent she has, the way she relates with people, a vocational skill she has acquired, her wealth, etc. When the some of aforementioned is used as criteria for attraction coupled with her physical attributes, then definitely there wouldn't be need to ask this question. Well said. Now when a guy admires all the above mentioned reasons u gave, and the babe expects u to pay the bills the OP mentioned above too, what do u advice? Na ur reasons the boy go chop after he has invested so much in that relationship? Pls tell ur sisters to be reasonable and pay their bills. |

dodoniyi: (B) If you were born on a TUESDAY:
• You are very active, lively and have a vivacious demeanor. You have warrior-like qualities. • You are brave and serious in your work, and will always have people to help you out. • You worry a lot and the more you worry, the more problems you attract in your life. You should learn to let go and relax; and lead a hassle free life. Simplify your living and life will become more endearing. • You are overtly materialistic. Though your taste in material possessions is quite good, but sometimes you overindulge and end up buying more things than you need—be it clothes or anything else. You should learn to save money. • Though you ask other’s opinions a lot, you eventually do what you think is right. So instead of asking around too much, spend time thinking on your own and weighing the pros and cons on your own accord because in the end, you will take your own decision. • You are very straight-forward, and often do not think before you speak. This results in many people ending up in misunderstanding you. • You are hardworking but also very sensitive which makes you somewhat difficult to deal with.
SOURCE: http://www.dayofbirth.net/leftlinkmain.php?day=tue#.VUidWFVViko This is 100% correct about me. One thing that bothers me is not having the ability to save. |

Car Talk › Re: Do You Remember This Car? by komek(m): 4:45pm On May 05, 2015 |
Stancity: Peugeot 404 was "the car" of the early 70s except you owned a Mercedes Benz 280s. By late 70s Peugeot 504 GL or L was already the in thing and 404 was naturally relegated to "nuturu m, nuturu m". The early 80s saw the emergence of 504 GR, and the 2000 version with a/c (ntu oyi) before 505 was rolled out in the late 80s. And that began the decline of Peugeot cars in Naija.
This car needs to be resurrected and a close look at it indicates that it carries more swag when compared to the recently trending VW BEETLES.. My father owned 2 of these cars back then. How i wish i can just see it and drive it for just few minutes...i so much loved it as a child. The last time i saw it was in Owerri but I was so busy i cud not approach the driver. |
