He uses both feet. Spoke about him here in the past.. Not saying he is the deal but he definitely needs to be tried.
Agreed without question.

My view is that every player showing outstanding performance in club and league should be invited to camp and the coaches carry out assessment and selection.

The very big question, However, can our indeginous coaches be free from vested interests , Favouritism and outright corruption. This is the big question ❓

The other problem is that outstanding performance and quality in club and league are not the pivotal and only overriding consideration.

I have been accused with the tag of promoting as some have termed it borough and init boys . The abuse and denigration of my view are well documented here. Claims of they are in low level leagues the English Championship, not good enough, not done anything, etc.

But look at our AFCON team selection, and you see blatant hypocrisy, bigotry and double standard.

So YouTube is no longer a place decisions need not be made because it doesn't show every side but only the good sides?

This is amazing.
The assessment of goalkeepers is primarily done in lsolation, he is part of the team but it's a solitary deduction.

And so YouTube videos should never be used to make an overriding deductions because they are all
easily contrived.

Nonetheless, where goalkeepers are concerned it can give some indication.

I qualified my opinion with the words, " He looks the BIZNESS"

Osimhen

Ndidi

Etebo

Slot in number 4 yourself
I would disagree we have key players in three areas of which nobody is world class or absolutely better than everyone in those key areas.

Striker / Forward position is between Ighalo, Dennis & Osimhen all three are key players, NOBODY is comprensively better.

Midfield - Aribo, Etebo, Ndidi & Iwobi these are the key players

Wingers- Moses hmm ❓ NOBODY is really outstanding , end product is very suspicious. I think V.Moses is better than all of them.

Defence - Ekong is CLEARLY the best key player we need new faces.

Wing backs- Aina is the key player , Zaidu and Collins have poor end product and we need better options if they even exist.

Why is that tackle on Mane from behind not a yellow card, refereee is highly INCONSISTENT.

We have good goalies around the globe. Adebayo Adeleye is quite good. At least he's better than the ones we have. Good reflexes, commands his defense line and is quite vocal..

He also has great ball playing skills and he’s just 21..

Sometimes i wonder what is wrong with Agu. Is he blind or he just chooses to act blind?
If it comes to the national team selection many decisions over the year's have been disgracefully SHAMBOLIC .

What Makes Adebayo good quality , where does he play tell us more❓

Anyone that has to constantly dis-credit another person just to feel good or prove a point has mental issues..
Nigeria lost because they couldn't score against a very depleted Tunisian side that had lost almost 9 first choice players to COVID.

We were not set to win because of we had the WRONG mentality, structure, strategy and team selection.

What I've noticed is that we are always clamoring for players that are not present. Etebo was in the team when we lost to Argentina, South Africa, Algeria, Madagascar. He does not bring any quality greater than that of the other players in the team. In fact I recall that the major complain was that Etebo and Ndidi don't click.

So it's always that clamor for the unavailable player. When he comes now, it will be zeh.

The ONLY player whose coming back will add to the team is Victor Moses because he's head and shoulders above our current wingers
It's a very simple appraisal, better players should come in.

Etebo is head and shoulders above Nwakali.

This is part of why we lost to Tunisia even when they paraded a weak squad. Failure to play a weak team as a weak team. Rohr too had this silly problem and it affected us.

When you go into a match with unecessary rivalry mentality and so much undeserved respect for your opponent, you make the match much more difficult than its meant to be.

We need to enter that 1st leg with healthy confidence knowing fully well that we're favourites. We take the game to them and seal qualification in Ghana 2 nil at least. Their National team needs to be relieved from the World Cup so they can build back better.
Beating Ghana is not s foregone conclusion.

Without proper preparation and the best players we can get , it may end in tears.

And this utter arrant nonsense that's it's taking 3 years to get clearance from FIFA for a change of allegiance. Is simply absolutely not TRUE.

I really don't know why the NFF are giving this false narrative.

Napoli never paid £74M for Osimhen. According to investigation, Napoli did not pay above €40m. They inflated the deal to reflect on the accounts just like Juve and Barca did with Pjanic and Arthur Melo.
It's an old accounting trick and Lille could face sanctions
https:www.football-italia.net/investigation-into-osimhens-napoli-transfer/amp/
If this is true , which it's looking like it is.

Then we have just opened the lid off a very rotten pot of soup, and we haven't looked into it ,to see the level of decay.

Osimhen sacked his agent mid negotiations for the move to Napoli from Lille. It was messy and I know litigation was threatened by the former agent. It's possible they settled out of court of and if they did money exchanged hands.

This is not good publicity and it doesn't help Osimhen. Most clubs prefer to avoid controversy and contention.

Unfortunately, Osimhen may not be able to claim ignorance of this deal.

Victor Osimhen to Arsenal is not true. People are saying that Arsenal are offering £60 million for Osimhen. Unless Arsenal increases it to atleast £100 million, then they're "Jokers".

Napoli hasn't even finish paying for Osimhen. They're still owing half of the £74 million. Lol. They're still paying for the signing made 18 months ago. Let's just see how it goes tho.
Arsenal are also looking at Calvert Lewin and quite a few others , only time will tell.

Will it be a good move for him ? Financially a big yes , football the EPL is the most competitive league and patience is a very scarce commodity. So from a football perspective , ❓

Why would Napoli want to sell ❓has he exceeded or even lived up to all expectations. He is coming back from injury many questions.

Eguavoen is not tactically clueless..

It is not Eguavoen and Simon's fault that Chukwueze's wing was toothless, that's Chukwueze fault.

It is not Eguavoen, Ndidi and Aribo's fault that Ihenacho and Chukwueze did not track back and help the midfield and also track back to help the defense..

To lose a match, A goal has to be conceded, the goal the S.E conceded was due to goalkeeping error and since the goal was due to goalkeeping error then that means Okoye was responsible for our loss..

same way Edouard Mendy cleansheets last season helped Chelsea win the UCL..
same way donnarumma helped Italy win the Euros...

In fact, Now that I'm thinking about it, sometimes the difference between some teams is the quality of their goalkeepers and strikers but especially their goalkeepers..
There were a number of errors that led to the goal.

Aina rushed in to make an interception on the half way line against the No. 7 , misses and sprints back overtakes Msakni and blocks him off, ushering him on his inside at the same time getting back into position as Egyptian left back was on his right side.

Ndidi who is backtraycking Msakni tackles doesn't block him off but dives in and he get sold. Omeruo who is right in front of Msakni, just looked at him and doesn't block him off or attempt to put him off , he just looks.

He then gets a direct shot at Okoye who is asleep and not concentrating or had any anticipation, fluffs it like a school boy, terrible error.

Who is to blame, Ultimately Eguavon .

We are playing a very good team that's a wounded Lion. They have always had good team cohesion. That means your Midfielder need to work hard very hard to close down and break up the Tunisian play.

That means water carriers, hard workers, Midfielders that will tackle and make interceptions, that will backtrack and also attack, and Midfielders that run on diesel not petrol ,long lasting with huge amounts of stamina.

Certain player's are immediately excluded such as Nwakali, KC they will not NEVER work hard and backtrack.

That means wingers who press in unison and also defend. That excludes immediately Chukwueze he just does not do that both for club and nation. Ejuke or Iwobi would have been a better option.

Awoniyi was pressing mostly on his own.

The midfield duo of Onyeka and Ndidi would have presented a different option that would have protected the back four and contained Tunisia.

I probably would have started with Awoniyi and sub him with a very hungry Olayinka who would work very hard as he has a point to prove.
Finally, it's Eguavon fault , irrespective of whatever politics is at play. He needed to man up because it's reputation on the line. He had spent enough time with all these players to know who is who and make the best selection, he did not.

Sir,something needed to be done to our midfield, have watched Nig vs Tun three times and I want to say no striker will perform with our displayed especially in the first half,we played mostly on the wings and Tunisia were able to cage Simeon and Chuckwueze....second half could have been better if not for the red card cos Iwobi and Olayinka run around and did the needful for Sadiq but that red card really affected us but nonetheless we need a midfielder who possess and have energy to do the needful, honestly am beginning to appreciate Mikel and Onazi more.....On our keepers.I don't know cos we have WC qualifier in march so we have limited time,Maduka,Uzoho and Akpeyi will still be available,we need another goalkeeper trainer to psyche this guys up.
One of the key performance indicators in midfield above all else. Is WORK RATE, it doesn't matter how much dribbling you can do or skills you may possess. Without work rate you will amount to nothing.

When a Midfielder has the ball he is an attacker when he does not have the ball he is a defender. Thats the basics.

What makes your Ngole Kante so good is his phenomenal work rate. Then you add all the other attributes, interceptions, tackles, passing range , pace , shooting accuracy, skill and Excellent first touch.

This is why I was bewildered how Onyeka did not get into the team. Add to that Iwobi, the last two seasons has seen Iwobi work rate go tremendously up. Because Everton is a very hard working team , there are no passengers in the team.

In the Tunisia game we had a Midfielder who doesn't work that's KC. Him and a few others were lethargic and did not do the high press as s collective that got us so much success in an previous g as me. In addition they did not backtrack and defend.

This is my belief.

That if you cannot perform week in week out in your club and league at a quality level. It's not in the short term SE camp 2/3 week period that you are going to become outstanding.

If you cannot do it in your club and league then you will not do it in the SE.

It was glaring obvious in the AFCON
