I really cannot understand that substitution Sadiq when we have Onyekuru .

We have our backs on the ropes

Chei we are finishing this game with 10 men

How did we get here❓

Poor start lethargic start

We have a mountain to climb but there is still hope we be Naija

jubilantagida:
Aina had no business missing that interception for that goal.

He then lost the urgency to close down the player.

He did same thing against Sudan, but he's generally having a great tourney, we shouldn't speak much about these things.
Maybe so Maybe not

but goalkeeprr made a howler

See the immediate urgency and determination of Olayinka.

Very very vereee poor goal keeping what a howler.

The substitutions are needed NOW

Iwobi as KC is in pain
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by komekn(m): 8:50pm On Jan 23, 2022
Awoniyi goes to the wing and nobody takes the forward position. He thrn puts in a cross and there is nobody there.

There is no urgency or sense of we need to win this game , it's been poorly. We are lethargic like we have nothing on to be fight for.

Chukwueze is no where to be seen. Awoniyi is not pushing himself enough to and his first of touch been poor.

KC needs to be subbed for Iwobi first thing then Onyekuru on for Chukwueze.

Omo na like 4 people dy mark simon... Aina and ndidi have been our best players so far
Exactly

Then why is Chukwueze not taking advantage and going forward. ❓
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by komekn(m): 8:30pm On Jan 23, 2022
We are not running the game we are not imposing ourselves and name on the game.

Chukwueze seems very lethargic everything is on Simon side.

That yellow is not good he should not have done that so obviously.

Why are our CB kicking the ball like police without direction or composure.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by komekn(m): 8:17pm On Jan 23, 2022
We dont seem to take advantage of these set pieces , and have aerial dominance.

Poor ball by Ekong under no pressure.

We should put Tunisia under immense pressure immediately .

They cannot deal with the speed physicality and cc athleticism converged with skill and technical ability.

So, what are you then saying?

If you say we are not comprehensively better, does that then, not imply, that we are somewhat at par with them?

Does parity not connote equality?

Run me through your thought process, if you don't mind
Comprehensive means every element and or component in its entirety.

In this context it is to say we are not overly superior and or better than Ghana in every department of the game.

It was to debunk a comment that Ghana are poor and we will essentially walk over them very easily.

You said Ghana are the better side man to man and on paper
I really don't want to descend to elementary comprehension.

But I've just reiterated to you what I said in case you got confused.

And you are telling me what I said.

Maybe somebody needs to explain to you , because I give up.

The bold is just simply NOT TRUE a figment of your over active imagination.

Or should I say it's a big fat LIE.

It is you that first said they are equal to us

Na you go do analysis first, then Andrew can counter

As long as you have not brought up facts to back your claim, it is just a claim that stems from your emotive bias.
You more than anybody should understand the meaning of words.

I said again l reiterate , apart from the goalkeeper we are not COMPREHENSIVELY better than them.

I went further to say it's debatable depending on your perspective.

That does not mean equal.

You brought up that statement and you expect me to do the analysis ?

You said they are better than us man to man ,prove it
Should I speak Spanish, you imagine things in your mind then ascribe your false narrative to someone else.

Please show where I said Ghana are better than us ,❓❓

Let me reiterate, l said we have a much better goalkeeper than them.

But we are not comprehensively better than them in any other area.

Comprehensive means - including or dealing with all or nearly all elements or aspects of something

I used the diction debatable depending on perspective.

You think to score in the Spanish league 2 is that easy ?

He has scored 1 goal in this afcon at least ,maybe he should have scored an hatrick against guinea Bissau to impress you ,who knows
It's not easy to score in any league just much easier in some leagues than others.

The two highest Goal scorers in the league are 35 and 40 they are not world class players more like retiring players.

First time I saw Sadiq, years ago , l thought there was something wrong with his feet. Because he is always falling down. Unfortunately he has not changed over the years.

First, you need to realize that if you knew better you'll be the coach of the Eagles and not Eguavon.
Sometimes we need to at least give the coach some credit that he knows what he's doing. A coach sees beyond what's on the field of play, he is probably privy to the potential that the boy carries and maybe also aware to what's keeping Sadiq from maximizing his potential. That said, Eguavon is not fixated on Sadiq and doesn't always talk about him, you only hear of him repeatedly cause the press keeps questioning him about the guy
The proposition that you present in the bold is without merit. I will give you mine.

If you know better, have unquestionable integrity, are uncompromising on merit and have outstanding knowledge with high level experiential competence. The NFF will certainly not appoint you as SE coach.

There is absolutely nothing that Eguavon is privy to compared to his club coaches Sadiq has trained with and played for week in week out in Europe for years. These clubs coaches know more about his football attributes than Eguavon.

Eguavon is an experienced Coach , and you don't need weeks to know if a player has nothing to offer.

You don't come to the SE to learn work.

What’s wrong in playing umar sadiq from the bench ?

Did the coach tell you he will be starting him ?

Because he missed some chances against guinea Bissau means he should not play for the eagles anymore ,me I still don’t understand how you watch your own football ooo

You are never satisfied about anything and you must connect everything to political backing just because the guy is from the north (maybe)

He is the only striker on the bench and yes he should play ,the guy is not a bad player ,not that he missed an empty net

Ighalo has missed chances and rohr believed in him ,I am sure you didn’t say ighalo have any political backing
Umar Sadiq is an embarrassment to the SE that's what's wrong.

Are Eguavon hands tied, l wonder. He has enough game time and training to be know he is too poor for the SE.

He cannot produce what he does not have.

It creates disharmony in the camp when players can see merit is not the over riding consideration. Sadiq has had enough time, let Olayinka, Onyekuru show what they have

Thankfully we have Awoniyi who has done well enough.

Oga sorry to say this
Think you're very daft and ignorant

Many a time u come here to hype opposing teams analysing trash I know u were up to something

You're not a super eagle fan all u want is to see your innit boys get call ups and use the SE promote their failing football career

You Need to grow balls and spew out the truth on why you often come here

See the foolly you spew up there now even Ghana FA officials won't say that

So GHANA has a better strike force and midfield to us huh You need to start talking sense

I wish I can see you face to face now
You imagine things in your mind then present them as facts and or somebodys written post.

When did I say , Ghana had a better strike force than Nigeria. huh

The worst type of LIAR is the one who creates the Lie then believes his own lies.

What I said is we definitely have a far better goalkeeper but everything is else is open to debate depending on your perspective .

You are such bigoted retrogressive tribalistic but worse you don't even know it.

Those are definitely kids and teenagers of this generation. I am talking about full grown men born in the 90s and beyond.

One of my friends and his wife are Yorubas but based outside of the SW. His children are learning Yoruba from the little my own kids understand from my wife that is Yoruba grin
I know quite a few who are even older.

Buy they have lived over privileged lives going to expensive fee paying international schools in Nigeria.

Salisu is a good player ,but I think you are trying to create an agenda with this your sudden notice about him

Some epl lovers here have talked about Salisu at one point ,but suddenly it seems this is the first time you are hearing about Salisu grin
Your perception is self birthed by you , I cannot understand why you find Subterfuge in my post's.

For the first time, a team held Manchester city to a draw in a long time. We are talking of Southampton something that Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United could not do . Southampton has done.

I watched the match from beginning to end but l am have never seen not just an outstanding performance but an absolutely Astounding one.

Every pundit was lost for words to describe his performance whether he was Chinese ,Arab or from Alaska is irrelevant. I have NEVER seen such a performance by just the one defender.

Is it a flash in the pan a one off or can Salisu do this week in week out consistently ❓

Him being Ghanaian is interesting he has accused the Ghana FA of corruption.

And many have written Ghana off as being too weak and they don't have good players. That is very misguided.
