Becareful what you defend. Nwakali has shown many times he played what we could expect when he gets in form. He is freekick gifted, defence splittling passes, deft touched , long ball merchant , dribbler, crazy confidence and courage when on the ball and never in a hurry to give away passes like Iwobi due to limited creativity...lol

I have done that already. Work permit , world class facilities and an F.A that puts the interest of their players ahead of every other issues and opportunity to get snapped by English clubs as soon as you show little sparkle of talent. Need more ?
You said you live abroad l want to presume that it's a first world country.

But your level of deduction reasoning that should have changed by reason of association and engagement. But it has not.

So you must be abroad but in a third world country worse than Nigeria. Maybe Namibia or Zimbabwe. Or maybe you lack the capacity to engage and integrate and as such remain without knowledge and are diminishing in your reasoning by isolation.

You are talking about England but you talk with real ignorance l am sorry to say.

English football academies have thousands of boys. Not all will make it. If you can somehow overcome the multiple rejections and if you are black racial discrimination in selection if you are outside London and beyond the Midlands mainly buy not exclusively. You may succeed. And you will also have to perform exceptionallly well irrespective of your colour.

Look at Eberechi Eze, released at Arsenal went to a duplicity of clubs too many to count. Ended up in kick and rush Millwall released at 16. Almost gave up getting ready to go to College and working in a Supermarket. He gets picked up by Ramsey not Gary at QPR and within months he is in the first team. Is that what you call " little spark of Talent". Oviemuno was also released at Arsenal too.

Second part of your incredulous reasoning. So if l send my children to a good school even teach them myself in addition and they then excel with top grades. Then they have unfair advantage over other children. Because the other childrens parents did not invest in their children.

My advice is you should keep quite for some time and learn from the many contributions here and upgrade your knowledge before you contribute.

Because you are not covering yourself in glory but the opposite.

Giving praise and telling the truth are two completely different things.

TRUTH is one thing PRAISE is another.

It's a question of where you are, what depth of knowledge you have and what your expectations are.

What you see from your experience as COMMENDABLE l may see as COMDEMNABLE.

The pertinent question is what you anchor your COMMENDATION upon knowledge, first hand experience and or sentiment based bias.

guy just tell me you hate the Tucano cos it's turbo prop stop using over priced to cover up..
We have broken down the sum of everything still what's over priced there...
There are 4 different issues in my write up.

The first and most pertinent is the ineptitude in munitions procurement that has rendered a good quality APC and possible quasi IFV essentially useless.

My response was factual and substantive but you completely bypass the substance of that.

You then center on the A29.

But it's Saturday morning and l will indulge you. Let me break things down simplistically, that even you with your pre-conceived notions routed in sentiments not substantive inferences. Will have to reconsider your position.

First of all in order to make an objective deduction on price, first thing we need is comparison.

Breaking down the cost of purchase and maintenance of an asset is not justification for best value.

If l buy a Toyota Tundra V8 4x4 and break down its costings capital as well recurrent expenditure (maintenance and running costs). Is that suffice to say it's best value❓

The reasonable thing if not basic common sense thing to do, would be to make a comparison on, capital procurement cost, running and maintenance costs. As well as efficiency reliability and perfomance. With other comparable vehicles.

So l would then compare the Tundra with the Nissan Titan V8, Dodge Ram V8, and the Ford F150 V8.

I can then after that comparison say the Toyota is best value and or the best platform.

After taking all variables, I then do not find any outstanding advantage for the Toyota over the other vehicles.

But with price comparison the Toyota Tundra costs $80k and the Ford costs $20k, the Dodge $22k, the Nissan $18k would you not then say the Toyota is grossly over priced.

Now transpose if you like this conceptual framework to the A29 Tucano. That's my reasoning and framework for coming to my conclusion about the A29. By comparison to other turboprop aircraft platforms.

You should know by now that if I say something it will not be whimsical. Even if you have taken a dislike to my opinion. Contend with substance not emotive sentiment based prejudice.

What is yourshuh

Lemme gist you what actually led to this incidence

ISWAP attacked a Military base in Gajiram, Nganzai LGA. After an hour the military withdrew after losing over 20 soldiers. ISWAP burnt down the FOB and took some Military Hilux and an APC.

ISWAP started going to shops where Action against Hunger use agents to disperse food to beneficiaries. They looted some bags of rice from two AAH vendors.

The Military felt Action against Hunger intentionally kept the rice for the Insurgents.

But in that same attack some Hilux were captured by BH.

In that attack over 20 Nigerian Soldiers were killed and captured.

In that same attack BH spent over 4 hours strolling around the town and led prayers in that town.

Maybe the Action against Hunger vendor should have used his hands to chase BH from looting his shop.

The army refused to buy 30mm rounds for the gun, claiming it's too expensive, and proceeded to beg the air force for 30mm rounds, the air force turned them down, that's why they don't use the RWS
Sorry for the late response.

First of all as ludicrous as it sounds it is not completely without credence. However, it smacks of crass ineptitude in munitions projection and procurement, by the NA very poor supply chain management.

So if you could not afford the munitions why buy the APC in the first place. Then render it almost useless by not making use of it precision weaponry. It doesn't make sense. Now if l know where to get these munitions at cheap prices in comparison to the NAF. They must know, it's inexcusable.

We are talking about the 2A42 - 30×165mm ammunition. It's manufacturered in a duplicity of countries outside of the Eastern block in most of the main variants, HEI, AP, HE-T.

The entire Eastern block is awash with this ammunition. However, it can be procured cheaply in Pakistan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Turkey among so many countries.

Boxed crates of 100 rounds approximately for $200 per crate, possibly even less. I could get a definitive price but don't want too much attention coming my way by MI5 and get put on the watch list.

However, if you choose to buy from the USA then you could be talking for there supposed precision engineered rounds $65 dollars per round. Yes for just one round.

This is a problem with US sourced munitions, a precision 12.7mm incendiary round can cost up too $75 used on a Barrett M82A1 50. Cal Sniper rifle. However, if you procure from Pakistan it is a fraction of that cost.

I am suprised we don't produce these munitions ourselves. I haven't been able to confirm but l think the Sudanese munitions industry produces the 2A42 ammunition. So that's another source as well as SA but they will be over priced.

So when we even get these overpriced A29 turboprop and then fire the 12.7 mm HMG for just 3 minutes it could cost you( UK MOD prices) $58,000.00. Now tell me that's sustainable in the Nigerian context.

I am even being on the low side with munitions cost procured from the UK not USA.

Meanwhile someone was arguing with me that the cost of an Wing Loong II UAV is not viable. Chinese munitions cost a fraction of the cost of USA sourced munitions.

Bros, with all this grammar....

I am not the SE Technical advicer but I am telling things how it is. That is y I earlier said "it is the reality". Nigerian grown players are easier to secure for the national team, so players that have represented Nigeria previously at youth levels and have also continued to churn out good performances are more easily invited to the SE because you don't need all those switch of nationality stuff that take months. Besides, I don't even want to go through all those talks of Foreign born players who have snubbed Nigeria in the past.
What do you mean by snub.

It's open to very wide interpretations depending on your perception.

When Eze was outstanding and showing great promise, after he had been invited to the SE party.

We decided to get a mediocre Nwakali to play a game alongside his brother who had done nothing in the Nordic leagues. And forget a far better Eze and or Oviemuno.

Eze had been waiting for years without any consideration he was first snubbed by Nigeria.

Or can we talk about the disgracefully way a very in form Sone Aluko was snubbed after outstanding perfomances. But Iwobi was given credence AT THAT TIME unjustifiablly over him.

We can go down this road and you will find many questions about the conduct of NFF officials in the past. And see that the snubbing has not been one way traffic

The savings grace NOW is that Yobo is part of the set up now and he will not stand for favoritism it will be merit. I can very strongly assure you it's no longer " how it is anymore".

And therefore get ready to see a lot more of the "Borough boys" as you call them.

Please do not use your misguided perception to present a narrative that suite your own biased prejudices.

I said very simply that the most important player in Leicester is Jamie Vardy.

He is the top goal scorer in the EPL he is not playing for Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea or United.

Without him Leicester will be in mid table or even lower. Vardy's goals have made the difference. Undoubtedly Ndidi is a very huge and important part of their success.

But just on goals Vardy is their best and most important player. In this regard my vote would be for Vardy.

And it has nothing to do with nationality we are just talking about measured perfomance.

grin

I have been waiting for that word "prejudice". grin

Those that Know me very well here know my philosophy of not rating a player based on youth performance alone. So that sermon you are preaching is not for me.

And I have never been an advocate of invitation of any mediocre player to the national team. Infact, I don't easily get flattered by those club performances of players like most people here.

What I have told you is a very simple reality. If Kelechi Nwakali's performances at his club improves he stands a chance of getting an invite. Don't rule out that possibility. What is wrong with that statement? undecided

He is a player that has always been part of the Nigerian youth teams set up and so had always been under the radar. Such players more easily get called up once they hit gear.

What would you call that statement, it is self explanatory, FAVORITISM and BIAS on the basis of youth team football. I don't know what hit gear means.

But he has done absolutely nothing for 5 years.

You mentioned favoritism and bias for Borough players by my person.

Tell me one player l have talked about in the context of HERE and NOW and or AT THAT TIME that did not have quality to compete in the SE with the current players who are their ❓

We had players from Cyprus league in the SE and other obscure leagues. That's context.

I think l am more harsh with Nigerian origin players than with Nigerian homegrown and or sourced talented players.

We find it easy to talk about players in Albanian leagues, Latvian, Nordic leagues, Isreal league. These league are below the standard of the Championship and some even lower than league one

But when a Nigerian origin player is talked about playing in the championship some people call it bias and favoritism. I talked about Ovie ages ago, l talked about Aribo ( now a SE regular) he was in league one then.

For possibly two seasons or more l have not mentioned Fred Onyedinma until last week. Why not because he lost quality but because l felt he had not done enough to be the best in league one. I could have made excuses such as he had knee surgery, etc

I haven't talked about Chuks Aneke because he hasn't done anything to merit a call up. I only have talked about Tega Onomah last two weeks. I have not talked about Ademola Lookman in a long time. I have been quite about Dominic Iorfa for a few months.

I have talked talked about Adarabioyo as the best HERE and NOW, current CB of Nigerian origin. ln my opinion he is much better than Awaziem any day of the week.

But you and many others continously talk about a player who has been so bad over the past 5 years he was demoted to Youth football in Porto B and still struggled. Now has had a few minutes not games and he is first in line for the SE.

This is a players that has not achieved 10% of what the players l have mentioned and or been quite about have achieved and indeed may never achieve.

And then some actually a lot, have the bare faced hypocritical double-standard cheek to call me biased and showing favoritism to Nigerian origin players in the UK. And he HATES Nigerian homegrown players.

Chairman, I know quite very well that K. Nwakali has grossly under performed with respect to the high expectations placed on him but please don't rule him out yet.

If he gets his game going and racks up good performances, he might get a SE call up. He is a player that has always been part of the Nigerian youth teams set up and so had always been under the radar. Such players more easily get called up once they hit gear. I know this is a bitter reality you would not want to hear because of your dislike for our locally produced youth players and your preference for your "Borough kids". But that is the truth bro.
Your truth is self birthed and self justified and it's simply prejudice led bias not TRUTH.

I have a preference for the best players in the HERE and NOW.

When a player is not perfoming he should be forgotten when he does start to put in quality consistent perfomances or of he ever does then he can be remembered.

You are the Nigerian problem putting aside MERIT to enthrone MEDIOCRITY. On the basis of preference and favoritism.

Historical past glories in Youth football can never be the basis for a call up to the SE.

I have not written him off just decided not too notice him until he does something of substance, which he had not in the last 5 years.

And you can have the audacity to claim he will effective send Iwobi into the Championship and retirement.

Why because the team that he contributed little or nothing too has been promoted to La Liga, that will struggle not to be demoted immediately on their return.

You should give some respect to Iwobi, Nwakali may never ever get to achieve up to 20% of what Iwobi has achieved in football. They are more or less the same age he could even be older.

The main weakness to Iwobi's game is finishing and stamina.

Creativity, Dribbling, Passing, Vision. All this are traits of an attacking centre midfielder not a winger.

Last season Iwobi had a higher expected assist p90 than Eriksen or Pogba. He was equal with Hazard.

Iwobi has started just two games as AMC this season, his average rating is 7.
25% of his total shots in his EFC career came in those games.
His most passes made in a single game is 38, the second and third came in those matches. (each 34).

His best rating came against Norwich where he was moved to AMC after HT.

Iwobi has been poor this season, but majority of the Everton squad have also suffered.
Amazing deduction you have made about the attributes of a AMC.

I want you to have in mind these supposed attributes you claim are the required attributes for a AM and let's look at the best Wingers in the EPL.

Adama
Zaha
Maximin
Pépé
Pulisic
Mahrez
Raheem
Saba

In reality in the modern game we talk more of forward players and where there is a constant interchange in positional play. That's what you find in the best teams.

In this regard looking at Manchester United and Liverpool.

Martial
Rashford
Greenwood
Salah
Mane

The players above are all forward players who can play from the Wing.

I think you need to update your knowledge with current football strategy and offensive tactical formations.

And remember that statistics are only indicative not conclusive. When you watch a full match you will find stats don't always reflect the true picture of the match where individual players are concerned.

Ndidi is the most important player in that team, ask any leceister fan.
Talk about bias and favoritism that has blinded reasoning. By all means be a fanatical fan but don't loose all sense of reasoning in the process.

Vardy is not the most important player in Leicester.

Chei lost for words.

Has Levy paid 80 million for anybody?
Close with Ndombele which has been far from successful near €60 million.

Dyabla is the player it is rumoured that they want to buy for €80 million.

Lol

You have a point thou
Did you see Lacazette consistent scoring record in French league over 3 seasons. It's absolutely excellent and you could say world class.

2014/15 - 33 games 27 goals
2915/16 - 34 games 21 goals
2016/17 - 30 games 28 goals

The next season he was in Arsenal after nearly €60 million transfer fee. His highest goal tally in the EPL so far is 14.

As everyone should know the EPL is the most competitive league in the World.

No striker has been able to leave French league and replicate his goal tally on arrival in the EPL.

Jimenez is not better than Lacazette, he is in a team that creates more chances for him and plays to his strengths. The time he spent in the Championship was very good training and prepared him for the EPL. Otherwise his career prior to joining Wolves was far from outstanding.
