Pastor Adebayo was openly critical of the Jonathan Goodluck government, saying the hardship is too much.

It's widely held he even joined a public protest.

Why has he become deaf and dumb in the face of this criminal jagaban government that was not elected but manipulatively selected and imposed on Nigeriand.

We are no longer in a democracy but a defacto dictatorship. There is no separation of powers and all government institutions totally compromised. We are effectively in a lawless society.

We now have the highest level of desperate poverty and deprivation ever known to Nigeriand since the country came into being.

People are literally dying of hunger, crime and insecurity are out of control.

And our criminal convicted drug dealing ID thief of a President had given us a great solution, change the national anthem.

I agree, this season there were games you can see that a proper CF was all Arsenal needed but I think Arteta/Edu don’t really see a star CF as priority
Really depends on what you mean by a proper CF.

Liverpool have had dominance without a quintessential center forward.

Messi and Ronaldo are not quintessential CF's.

Arsenal play is about interchange and fluidity nothing is so rigid. This is why their goals come from several different players.

One question ❓ you need to answer 😧 does Arsenal play with a quintessential number 9❓

There is huge amount of inter changing in their team play. Players have to technically astute and adaptable to play in that system, the play is fluid and very technical.

Arsenal are looking at several players and in that number is VO. However, Napoli have over priced him intentionally, without VO what's left in Napoli 🤔 unless they can get player swap deal plus money 💰 they will not sell.

I really don't know where VO will end up but it's not going to be surprising if he remains in Napoli. I think Napoli want him to stay and will hold out for a huge fee plus player swap deal.

Nah. A good technical player always remain a technical good player unless he becomes older when his legs can't cope with the pace of matches/sport anymore. Nothing happened to Aribo at Southampton. It was just that Southampton changed several coaches after he was signed thus, he was always in and out of the team. He was already finding himself in Southampton's starting lineup before he was called for the last afcon cup. When he returned, he worked himself into the lineup once again.

I still don't see which central midfielder in the team is currently better than Aribo. Which of them has dominated the Brazilian midfield like Aribo did? Or the Ecuador midfield? Egyptian midfield? Heck, they faltered against Cote d'Ivoire midfield. And Mali's midfield recently.

That said, Nigeria need to solve the holding midfield first because most of the midfielders in the team are box to box. A defensively astute technical holding midfielder is needed!
Agreed 💯👍🏿

It has been apparently clear and obvious that Tosin has better than all our CB's for a long time even when he was in the Championship.

But we preferred to recycle outdated and low quality CB's instead of recruiting better and improved.

The NFF could have had him signed sealed and delivered 3/4 seasons ago, but we did not .

Aribo is a good player but football hasn't been kind to him,
he seemed to have fallen off after his fantastic stint at Rangers fc...not sure what happened to him when he joined Southampton, but he now has a chance to prove why he was always that player we rated highly. Right now he has fallen down the pecking order as far as the depth of our midfielders...I rate the likes of Olawoyin, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Onyedika ahead of him. Better to stop basking in the past and hope he picks up form again next season.
Dude 😎 you must be having a laugh 🤣🤣🤣

Relax
Victor Osimhen will deliver goals next season
Even with his injury plagued season, he still scored 15 league goals

With Conte, he wouldn't have to run so much, that means less injuries
You will see goals

Just relax
Defenders can't stop Osimhen
Only injuries can
Nobody is saying he will not score goals 🥅 .

I am sure in a match very few if any players have as many sprints as VO. When he was in France in those two seasons nobody did more sprint's than VO.

If you take away the relentless non work rate and sprinting of VO. Without prejudice you have taken away his heart 💜 and soul, there will be very little left.

The current manager of Chelsea is not Conte it seems you are not aware.

How many injury free seasond has VO had in Seria A ⁉️and if you put that into consideration he may be looked at as injury prone.

I remember how Conte brought out the quality in Diego Costa that year for Chelsea. I'm optimistic Osimhen will eat good under Antonio who loves utilizing big forwards in his formations.

Besides I'm at a loss why we are questioning the ability of a forward who has scored double digits consistently now for six seasons even with injuries.
I've been consistent in saying I don't call VO world class.

What makes you world class is being consistently on top of the goal scoring charts ( particularly as a striker) from season to season.

I think he is absolutely an excellent striker but to be world class he needs consistency.

Do you know staying injury free is part of that assesment for being able to be called world class.

VO has had one break out season which was last season when he won the golden boot. Prior to that his previous seasons in Seria A were very good but he was not in the top 3.

His time in France was very good but once again not top of the game. His time in Belgium was very good too.

However, he had had one world class performance and that was last season where he won the golden boot.

His performance in the AFCON was not exceptional as a striker, 2 goal 🥅 is simply not good enough for claiming to be world class.

Finally, he may if not careful be tagged injury prone with the regularity of injury he is getting and therefore a risk.

Finally, how will he cope in the much more physically taxing and faster as well as very intensive EPL ❓Will he be able to cope and be injury free.

I disagree football ⚽ is football.

Quality is quality irrespective of the situation, I will always pick the in form players first.

The reality with KC is he has been out form since he left Manchester City. He had one good season at Leicester where he scored 12 goals, 6 other seasons he has not been able to score more than 5 goals. That's poor consistent form for a so called top forward player.

What you should consider if players who are in form where given opportunity how much better would they possibly done ❓

Eze was not on the radar too few years ago, we know better now!
Eze was invited to train with the SE , he had already played in the QPR first team. The NFF had the option to cap 🎓 him but declined and waited for 2 years plus + ( essentially forgot him) before remembering him after several promises made.,( maybe if he had settled it would have been different.

They are bringing in Conte on a 3 yr deal and invariably the team output will pick up again..

Conte's quality will impact on the team and the general result will be a better performance of the whole..

The more you play in a league the more defenders know you and read you and the harder it gets.

I've learned not to be swayed by shiny toys simply because a player is in Europe.

Ibrahim Olawoyin is a breath of fresh air, can play as a natural AMF and also from the wing, with Fisayo dele-bashiru and Ibrahim Olawoyin, Iwobi's creative responsibilities and burdens should be more or less over now. Smart replacements by Finidi.
I sincerely hope what you are saying is true ❤️, that will usher in a whole new era of players going directly from the NPFL to clubs in Europe.

No3. The fact that you are relying on the Sun who you would have dismissed as gossip if it's any locally born player shows how desperate you are
Why are you degrading the discourse with misrepresentation and disinformation.

First of we are talking about bids and offers to Tosin Adarabayo by Manchester United, Newcastle, Chelsea, and others all waiting on the sidelines.

I quoted just three different media reference points not just the SUN , why would you denigrate matters with UNTRUTHS.

But let me dispense your intended misinformation with several other references point's from the media.

Mbappe is a free agent it doesn't mean he is going to to be cheap. You can still negotiate a signing fee and salary that can get up to £50 million. So Tosin being free 🆓 agent is not 🚫 going to be cheap. It mean it will not be reflected as out and out purchase and expenditure will be recurrent for wages.

He is attractive because he is one of the best CB in the EPL.

Honestly I like what Finidi is doing, cos Aina ain't on the List, some fans were quick calling for his head without making inquiry why he didn't make the List.

Shebi una happy to see your faves on the list, now they are getting replaced one by one by players on standby List.

That Ranger LB is a great player, coz he is playing in the NPFL shouldn't disqualify him from repping GWG.

Sanni is a fine dribbler, very good player with Akwa United. If he gets a nod, I expect fans to be blown off with his.skills.

Olawoyin, an outstanding AM for his club. A product of NPFL who also had repped GWG at CHAN level.

If we play 3-4-3
You do réalisé that Frank Onyeka’s true position is box to box and not DM like he’s regularly used in Nigeria
And that position is critical to driving the ball up front as well as making the numbers when we defend or attack. He’s got energy for it and should be made to play where he prefers to play
We shouldn’t make the mistake of pairing a DM with a creative midfielder in that formation because it hindered Alex Iwobi at AFCON
Double pivot pairing would favour a b2b and a dm rather than a dm and a cm/am
I meant Ajayi should be played where he was used at Afcon and not the left defensive side
Onyeka is a water 💦 carries and diesel ⛽ engine, he is non stop running breaking up play , interceptions, tackles physicality. However, he is not technically astute, skilfully superior, creative or inventive and is not a goal scorer.

Osayi-----------Awaziem-------Ajayi---------------Bassey

........--------Onyeka/Onyedika ----Ndidi

Iheanacho as false 9 in an Havertz role will bring the best out of Mola and Boni! Iheanacho passing and striking technique will bring needed fluidity to our attack.
KC has just had a season to forget he was supposed to tear the championship apart but rather he got torn apart and whipped in the Championship.

He is not in form should not even be in the team.

Striking technique and has scored 5 goals from 23 games in the Championship.

They should find a NPFL player to come in, it seems Aribo is not in the team so where is the creativity and invention in midfield going to come from. It seems all creativity and invention will rest on Iwobi 😳

SA forget the players are a very good team with outstanding cohesion and team understanding they are technically good if we underestimate them we will cry 😭
