EEGA:Aribo has been one of the most outstanding players for Southampton and pivotal in getting them promoted back 🔙 to the EPL. He is an offensive player that has creativity and invention. You just said he is yet to recover form.🤔🤔 |
Marjoribanks:Awaziem the slowest player in the team, should not be in the team. We are recycling again instead of looking for new and improved players 😔 |
yinkeys:Agreed 💯 with the bold , Dude huffs and puffs but doesn't blow anybody away he also very light weight and very little invention. A midfield of Onyeka and Ndidi will lack invention and creativity. Play one not both . Don't know anything about Tiaminu so is he better than Ajayi ,just trust that Finidi is very familiar with the NPFL. I don't see us crushing teams see us struggling but winning. |
Danielnino00:He didn't speak 🗣️ Spanish but plain spoken English, which you struggle to comprehend. You have made assumptions for him on what basis you are a mind reader. He just called foreign born Nigerian players as second rate and you are trying to change the English language. Your blinded by you own self birthed prejudices you cannot comprehend basic English. What people say and what they mean can sometimes be ambiguous, that's why I asked him to explain for clarity. But you Dr 2 Know ( mind -reader) have read his mind and want to explain for us. You are conceited in your bigotry. |
immortalcrown:And a 1000km underground pipeline was built to support it from the coast to Kaduna. I know no matter how incomprehensible something is there is a possibility of it being tenable in Nigeria. But this is absolutely BEWILDERING |
Subzerooo:First of all what do you mean exactly by "second rate foreign born" in the first instance please ❓ Using your derogatory divisive notion of foreign born. Let me ask , how many of first rate Nigerian born players will get into first rated top teams and leagues in Europe ❓ |
When it comes to transfers it's all noise until clubs put the money 🤑💰 on the table. When several teams are putting bids in and declaring contract terms in direct competition with other clubs to sign you it's a reflection of quality and a player's high quality rating. Tosin Adarabioyo is almost able to dictate terms.
|
Marjoribanks:Wow 😳 American wonder 😊 I agree 💯 |
charlesemeka85:Wow 😳 let's believe it's not another cash strapped football team facing bankruptcy and relegation and can't afford to buy quality players. In life 🤣 you get what you pay for, "Na money 🤑 kill better soup 🍲" |
chrisooblog:I don't either he is in a poor quality team Boavista and he still not a stand out player . His team just escaped relegation by goal difference and Bruno is struggling to get game time. Funny though he may have played more games than Awaziem who is also poor quality. |
Marjoribanks:Thank you 😊 In my opinion knowing how we are it makes it very easy for favouritism and godfatherism to thrive. And excellence compromised. Imagine if we were to select Nigerian origin players in academies in England alone 😲😲 Nwaneri, Chido Obi, etc |
Danielnino00:Unfortunately the out and out quintessential striker are becoming a dying breed. You have the intelligent forwards ambidextrous and inverted wingers. Technically proficient unpredictable and able to play 7,9 &11 at will and interchange with flawless ease. Ronaldo, Balotelli, Benzema are like that as well as Mane, Salah ( not great too great on the left), Ollie Watkins, Rashford, Mason, Garnacho, Palmer, Diaz, Olise, Eze, Raheem, etc I will add to that list Ademola Lookman without hesitation. I was particularly impressed by his first third goals 🥅 in the Euro finals both taken with his left foot. With pin point precision for a player who is right footed. |
TheGoodJoe:Dude 😎 he doesn't have to he is that good if he did he would have been a definite possibility for the golden boot. |
chrisooblog:Agreed 💯 without question ⁉️ But many a striker has been born out of desperate circumstances, let's see what Boniface can do. |
Marjoribanks:What about Boniface, Moffi, etc and I think Elijah Adebayo should have been in the mix |
chrisooblog:VO is aggressively direct using pace as his main weapon not technical ability as well as aerial prowess. Boniface is the opposite he is deceptive and unpredictable that is his unique selling point but not so direct. I think it's question of who you are playing and what strategy you adopt. I don't think they can play together, VO needs a pyramid structure with him as the point man. Where as Boniface can play a more intricate passing game and play more in. |
caprikon:I believe in Club form transferred to National team not past performances in the national team. Chukwueze has had a season to forget he is out of form and may need to find another club because he is not displacing Pulisic any time soon. |
lovewins:I don't see why Boniface can not start before VO, I don't believe the number 9 spot is the exclusive preserve of one player VO. I truly believe Boniface brings something different and a good coach will try out different tactics and formations. I did not say drop VO , l am saying there may be times it may be more advantageous to play Boniface than VO. And if Boniface is not making impact then bring on VO |
Tessyy1701:You are being too rigid and restricted in your view. For top quality technically gifted and athletic players they cannot be put into one box. Yaya Toure can literally play any position with high quality delivery and dominance. As a consequence of you played Yaya as a striker he would end in his prime as a contender for the golden boot. This is guy who from midfield scored 20 goals in one season in the EPL. Onuachu could not get one goal from 11 games in the EPL. What you need to understand some players cannot be restrict by roles they are that good. |
TheGoodJoe:I would pick Yaya Toure ahead of Onuachu all the time every time whatever the position ,what ever the league. There is absolutely nothing that Onuachu csn beat Yaya Toure on. The gulf in ablity, quality, technicality, physicality and skill is miles apart. |
Napoleon55:It's inconsequential you put yourself in to the mix. You have some proverbial ramblings, but never attempted to answer the question ❓. Once again was the tag given to Isaac "WasteMan" Success justified at that TIME. Please try not 🚭 to evade. |
Amedino99:You joined the rabble of noise makers to spew utter garbage 🗑️. So answer the question ❓ I even gave him a clue by telling him it was singular not plural. Then I added was it justified the tag " waste man" . What exactly have you actually exposed ❓I was giving people who are block heads the opportunity to disgrace themselves 😲 in the public domain. Of course like the very wise man you are, you just fell for the bait into a rancid gutter. But let me help you to retrieve what's left of your small-minded parochial head 🗣️ Please 🥺 answer, was the tag I gave to Isaac Success without credence and not justifiable ❓ |
Napoleon55:EVADING plus evasion multiplied by avoidance. Simple question ❓ you said I call Nigerian players "waste man" you made that allegation in the plural. I asked you to to tell us the players and to see if it was justified. You have written a long epistle without any attempt to address the question or attempt to substantiate your allegations. |
Meliforme:Built for ball possession 🧐 Ejuke is a forward player you implying he is outstanding quality. How many games did he play this season, l have to presume he is first choice that means barring injuries he should play at least 80% of games in his league. That being the case how many goals and assists in the Belgium league did he get to make him outstanding. |
Meliforme:It would be helpful if you said why |
teeshet:Error |
soetanoreoluwa:In England very simple racial bias and discrimination essentially RACISM. |
Amedino99:Please stop 🛑 being infantile and crying 😭 like child who someone took their milk 🍼. Which player did I call 🤙🏿 waste man it's actually singular not plural ❓ Next question ❓ was it justified and if you can not 🚫 respond with specifics. Please 🥺 be silent 😶 |
Nomyth:Do you know what double standard means ❓it is apparent you do not. Aribo played 35 games out 46 that included injury 🤕 and time with AFCON. That means he is essentially by first choice every time all the time. That means he was pivotal in getting them promotef. You are making a comparison with KC and implying that he also was a crucial player for Leicester. Well he simply was not 🚫 he was struggling to get into the team. In addition the manager has nothing much to say about him. KC is forward player some call him a striker, he played 23 games and scored 5 goals. On all the statistical performance indices in the club he underperforms. James Vardy scored 18 and is number 5 in the Championship KC is 102 with 5 goals. Below comments by Aribo manager not me please 🥺 post comments about KC by his manager, if you find any🧐🧐 He also the highest paid in his club, l know some here hate talking about finances.
|
ChrisKels:He played 35 games for Southampton scored four goals and one direct assist and had been pivotal in the offensive attacks and forward play for Southampton. Maybe you should give your opinion to his manager and see if he will listen to you. |
Aribo is back in the EPL Southampton just beat Leeds. |
Napoleon55:The long term plan of English FA is intrinsically linked with the football clubs there is synergy and convergence. So the coaching strategy and plan's are carried out by the clubs not the England youth coaches. They come to camp with their attributes not to learn but to contribute their unique skills sets and abilities. The national youth team coaches job is to make the team cohesive, joined up and with the adopted playing style and strategy. The English FA had a long term strategic plan. Now English players are now among the most technically gifted players not just kick and follow players as they used to be. |
