That is old news, Isaac got past that.
How do you know❓ He is still struggling with fitness is he diligent, dedicated and disciplined with a clear motivation to succeed.

Look at KC it may not be going his way but you can see he is trying to get back to a level of quality. I don't see that in Success.

Collins is not doing badly sha, 16 games 1 goal and 2 assists , about same stats with okoroji in the german 2nd division

But for now i prefer ola aina at left back and awaziem at right back

But if no aina at left back then it should be collins
When the desirable is not available the available becomes desirable ❓

Collins was not the highest rated player in the match quite far off actually. His team remain at the bottom of the Bundesliga lost 10 games won 3 and have 3 draws the are bona-fide relegation candidates.

His stats are not impressive but the opposite.

Without bias look at Paderborn and ask the question can the beat the a bottom team in the Championship ❓ I don't think so. I can not see them beating Etebo's Stoke, in comparison of player quality Stoke is higher indeed on all comparison finance, stadium size, fan support, etc Stoke the bottom team of the Championship is ahead.

I am trying to highlight the true quality of the bottom segment of the Bundesliga. Because that quality hinges on the supposed quality of Collins.

He has not been outstanding for club and league that's the reality. Again statistics are indicative not conclusive when taken in context we have a better appreciation. I watched his match yesterday but couldn't watch in full it was too boring and lacked quality.

NFF need to find a better left back where fromhuh

Well they just signed one highly rated Brazilian kid.
Success needs to leave for his own sake. I know that 50k dey sweet am but...
The answers concerning Success can be seen in the lengthy contract he signed.

Nobody, is going to sign him and pay him stupid money to do NUTTIN he has one choice to run down his contract.

Then try and salvage his career in a lower league and he needs to be focused and disciplined. Too many reports of him being unfit. That's unacceptable for any professional footballer.

for most of his club career, he's played from the wings even played it in a 352 formation for arsenal. So he's not new to being a winger
In Arsenal it's a tactical game based on tactics and strategy.

With Duncan it's Do or Die, Blood and Guts, effort effort effort, work work. You ate effectively trying to grind out results by work rate determination and aggression. It's very basic but effective.

Iwobi l am sure has never ran up and down attacking and defending so much in his entire career. Iwobi has never WORKED SO HARD in 4/5 consecutive games ever.

No suprise he got injured.

If we dey argue ball, there is no need to go personal and start asking about each other's lifestyle or way of living. I respect all our guys plying in Europe especially those born in Naija that beat almost insurmountable odds to get there.

This isn't my perspective really, I am using stats and you are using...well whatever it is you are using. Tomorrow I will try as much as I can to find a site that will compare his first 9matches from last season with that of this season, judging based on what I have seen, he has about 15 key passes this season and j remember in one of the first matches he played last season against Real, he had about 5 key passes in one game, and his average from last season was 2.4 as against the 1 it is this season. These are facts and not assumptions. But let is agree to disagree
Watching a game live and what the stats say are very indicative and not conclusive.

I never rely just on stats you need to see the things stats don't cover and you can only see that from watching the full game.

For instance defenders in a relegation team may have the highest number of blocks, tackles and. Interceptions. Essentially because they are under seige and spending all thier time defending. It then statistically gives the impression of very good defenders when actually it's a poor team with poor players.

I really don't see Liverpool beating them. Around the 75 minute mark, Leicester effectively started conserving energy for Liverpool and considering Liverpool played 120mins plus the inevitable fatigue that comes with traveling all the way to Qatar, well I really believe that Leicester will not lose to Liverpool.
Liverpool will beat them.

Why?
I am sure there must be some sports scientists in the house. Who should understand what I'm talking about.

When a player who has not based his game on sprinting up and down the line at full pelt.

Suddenly and dramatically changes his game to become a hard working winger. The stress on the hamstrings for player who is not use to that will eventually over stress those muscles and get tear in the muscle hopefully it will not be a major tear.

He really needs more recovery time and should not really play more than 60 minutes to develop resilience in those muscles.

He should have a tailor made exercise regime pre match and after the match from his sports scientists and physios. It seems he did not.

So disappointed with LFC now
They actually got flogged today.

The 3-1 score line doesn't reflect the true dominance of Man city today. It was if I'm right 10 shots to 1 by Leicester.

I am now afraid for Leicester they don't have strength in depth. If Vardy get suspended or injured then thier season effectively over.

Thier next few games crucial l dont them ending the season as no 3 in the table. I see the big boys catching up on them irrespective of thier 10 point lead.

I would have mentioned them but iorfa currently is on beast mode. I see that guy taking omeruo's place in the super eagles if given a chance.

The edge he has over omeruo is that he is taller and versatile ie can play comfortably in the cb, rb and DM positions just like awaziem
Add to that he is arguably the fastest player in the Championship.

He has pace to burn.

Soon and very soon him and Ovie will be wearing the green and white then completented by Eze later on.

Vardy has been consistently scoring goals in the past four.

However, under Brendan he has taken goal scoring to another level the team playing to his strengths. 17 goal in the EPL before Christmas is not Ewah and Dodo.

I am saying currently. I have been following Onomah right from his days in spurs youth teams. Then he was miles ahead of ejaria and Eze was unknown then.

He tasted first team football when ovie was still playing u19 footie for Liverpool while Eze was on the verge of giving up on football.

But now the reverse is the case. I seen him few times this season and I must confess he is a shadow of his old self. He is still young and hv the chance to bounce back again
I agree he no longer dominating as he use too.

Let's see how he will progress in the next few weeks after his goal today.

But l am sorely dissapointed l expected so much more from him.

Ekong, semi, awaziem are all ahead of him. Awaziem tops him cus he can be deployed in 2 positions unlike omeruo and more physically imposing as well

Also awaziem is better technically ie he is good on the ball than omeruo
Yes better technically physically a VERY BIG CAPITAL NO he is not better when it comes to physicality than any of the existing CB'S.

Then when it comes to pace the only person he may contend with is Ajayi in the entire SE team but he isn't neccesarily better than Ajayi technically speaking.

He is make shift in everything he does never actually excelling in any one position. Way TOO SLOW to be a wingback and a liability.

Why is he there in the SE ❓

What you need are players with clear outstanding competence in one position but able to play in another competently. That's true versatility.

Awaziem is jack of all trades master of none.

eze and ejaria are better players than him but he is better than nwakali jnr
Well not exactly.

And that's for now at a stage he was way ahead of both of them.

A few injuries and lost his form but let's see he is not a passenger in Fulham and or bench warmer.

He has played 10/11 games this season after his move from Tottenham. So he is progressing more than slowly and he is being consistent.

But come on to compare him to Nwakali is more than comedy. They are VERY FAR APART.

He continues like this for the season and I see him in the LA liga next season
Well l don't unless you are talking a team that's not really challenging for the title and or competing in Europe.

Kayode has played in Europe did exceptionally well them got entangled with Man City. That didn't help his career.

Going to Shaktar was good but he didn't do good enough to get recognition. If he did he would not be in Turkey that's the harsh but bitter truth.

That means there are still question marks he needs to go to a quality league in Europe and prove his quality and there will be no doubt.

On paper from the front Aguero, Mahrez, Raheem, Gabriel the only person contending them upfront for quality is Vardy.

Midfield it's just Ndidi with top quality comparative to De Bruyna, Sylva.

Defence Walker and Mendes and Ferdidho

The only thing games are not won on paper but let's see. I still think City have it

saw him in some games this season for fulham and he loved washed off. i hope he regains his mojo
I knew him when Ehiogu (RIP) Ferdinand and Ramsey were the U18 coaches at Tottenham. Then Tega was full of tricks and show boating but then as he became older he emphasised more about end product and controlling the game.

Watched him in training and matches and when he is on his game looks top class. But that thing CONSISTENCY is absolutely vital for a midfielder on my opinion he seems to lack.

I had rated him above both Ovie and Eze but they are ahead of him now. Imagine when Eze was getting released he was already playing first team for Tottenham.

This is unpredictability of football.

Onyekuru went to afcon

Onyekuru was also scoring for fun in Belgium but was ignored

Should we say rohr doesn’t rate Belgium league ?
This is a guy that started playing first team football at the age of 17/18 in the Belguim first division. That's quite remarkable in itself.

Then he dominated the league has been very consistent over the 4 seasons with quality.

The move to Everton was not a good one for him in my opinion. He was never going to get a work permit for the EPL.

But he has been largely ignored before anybody knew Chukwueze name, Onyekuru was making waves. In all honesty, l cannot say conclusively who is better. But in this forum it will be Chukwueze.

My conclusion is he has not been treated fairly by the NFF and Rohr.

My substance of argument was to prove you wrong and make you take back your words angry angry angry
One question within the context of the discourse which is if KC is an IN- FORM striker.

You can't prove me wrong in any way shape or form. My stand is very simple KC is improving undoubtedly but he is not an IN- FORM striker and or forward player.

In that context what have you proved wrong that l said he had been in the weekly ratings once when it's actually twice we presume this season.

How does that impact on the substance of my view with regards to him being IN- FORM or not.

You are digressing from the discourse to a pedantic irrelevance.

All this is simply academic mumbo jumbo the two preceding season give us a very clear and objective position where KC was, is, and may be currently going now.

This season he has improved had a big hiccup recently. But l hope he plays against the club that let him go and scores a hat trick this evening.

Then he is very much on the way to becoming IN-FORM and his previously downgraded value will rise very quickly.

Finally, there is a big difference between inaccuracy and misrepresentation go back to your English Dictionary. It won't cost you nothing to upgrade and download to your understanding.

NFF President Amaju Pinnick said: "If Gernot Rohr does not accept our new offer, as Timaya said, '’I cannot kill myself’ and we would shop for a new manager to take over.”
The public differences over the last few months make it very clear that all is not well with that once cosy relationship.

Amaju and Rohr have been having difficulties and difference but alarmingly in the public domain. With Rohr trying to assert some control over the domineering Amaju.

My suspicion is a contract is offered but on different terms. I also doubt if Rohr will agree to sharing a substantial part of his pay packet with the powers that be.

In the end the contract signed will be devoid of Egunje arrangements. Amaju with the EFFC and other bodies watching him is in a weak position and the contract will be signed.

For me Rohr has been the best thing that has happened to Nigerian football in a long time.
