Nacho starts
KC is improving week in week out to the point that the Manager is changing the formation to suit him. That's quite remarkable.

If he can get an assist or maybe even a goal today against Norwich he really needs too Norwich is not a strong team in the EPL. Then he will definitely on the way up to becoming first choice in a two forward formation with two front men, Vardy & KC

That would be EXCEPTIONAL PROGRESSION in a very short time on the field but a lot of time on the training pitch with dedication and focus over the years but more so with Rogers.

But then again it's football. Not too long ago Origi was not cutting it at Liverpool and was essentially on the way out. A few good games and now putting in consistent performances he is probably looking at contract extension now.

there are lots of Kane's and vardy's out there ,all they need is a manager who has faith in them
Three years ago Eze was released from Millwall and he then got a part time job in Tesco and was getting ready to to College.

Went on trial to QPR and Ramsey great coach and motivator picked him out Holloway agreed. Within six months he was in the first team and the rest is now history. Now best player in the Championship.

There are many stories like this in football.

Ekong like Omeruo and Ajayi have been performing. I believe once Awaziem settles, he can break into the team. He needs to stay one place instead of all these loan moves he makes.
How many years does Awaziem need to settle in the team.

Agreed

He played 21 games in a star studded Liverpool team

I am yet to hear the British media label him a Liverpool flop ,but they are quick to call Iago Aspas a Liverpool flop with lesser minutes per game and lesser games
It's very simple.

How much did Aspas cost and how much did Solanke costhuh ❓ Solanke was essentially a youth player with a lot to of potential nothing else and a good business deal.

But the key thing between them is thier was no expectation on Dominic but a lot of expectation on Aspas.

Well fast forward and Liverpool were able to get rid of thier big flop and sell him for £19 million absolutely crazy. Excellent business for Liverpool bad marker for Bournemouth.

Below English media screen shot on the flop Solanke.

double standard"
if it's samu you will not say this
The double standard is on you.

Must everything be in comparison to another Nigerian player.

Zaha is the essentially the "STAR BOY" of Crystal Palace first name on the team sheet over 10 season of top flight football consistent outstanding performance over consecutive seasons.

And you want me to compare and make the same statement about Chukwueze in his second season of football, does that in any way make rational sense too you huh Are they on the same level huh

Then you pronounce "DOUBLE STANDARD"

He isn't even the best in any season. I winder how he arrived as such a conclusion. Komekn, can you back it up with stats
I said arguably which implies he is in the that very top segment of wingers in the EPL.

There are some aspects of the game that statistics don't measure. For instance statistics don't show how a players performances can drive his entire team forward.

That's what Zaha does for Crystal Palace, but can he do it in a different settings and team. That's the question.

31 games and 5 goals in a season? That is a flop by komekn standards.

We are working with komekn's standards here. Thank you
If you wish to quote, it would be helpful to state what that standard is please.

A striker playing 31 games in a season and scoring only 5 goals is woeful, simply put.The next question is WHYhuh

Particularly considering his excellent season in the Championship prior to the loan move. You didn't ask that question or have a balanced approach.

But your negative bias and bewildering deep seated bitter dislike for a player who you don't know and probably never will. Is simply incomprehensible. This is sheer NAKED HATRED you act like woman scorned..

But whyhuh ❓Baffling.

I talk about players performances and how they can improve never get personal in any way. Apart from Isaac Success " Wasteman" l haven't reprimanded any player that strongly. His behaviour was simply inexcusable. But hatred towards a player l may actually come across is simply not an option.

Now l will remind you of your posts about Tega see the screen shots below. You even very erroneously declared doom and failure futuristically speaking. Again WHYhuh

And I will challenge you and anybody else to screenshot one post where I have shown personal dislike to any player.

The non ambitious northerners supposedly.

Have effectively without ambition created a defacto dictatorship. The theory of Separation of powers a mere slogan.

The CJN removed unconstitutionally and the NA assembly an appendage rubber stamp body of the Executive.

Sowore's case confirms the state the nation is in. When the DSS have now become the new official thugs of the Executive. Able to invade a court and send the judge running in trepidation completely unopposed.

It's now a precedent the DSS is above the law. I remember when the DSS locked up the NA so Senators and Representative members were denied access to the house.

And someone says they are not ambitious.

The entire security apparatus of the nation is controlled by whohuh The South❓

Look at the key positions of the state who is in control. The former finance minister removed on spurious presumptions about a NYSC exemption certificate. Meanwhile the president is unable to prove he went to secondary school and graduated.

Where did you ever see me make excuses for Nacho when he was under performing
.
You claim Sarr was injured when he was under performing. But when somebody told you that Niang has seen nearly twice the amount of Game time Maja has played you discarded it as been excuses

And lastly I can't believe you typed this poo. You claim Sarr as a winger shouldn't score much goals like a striker but the same you as accused Chukwueze a lot of times about lacking end product and yet you claim you are not biased
The entirety of End product in your football dictionary equates to GOALS alone according to you.

Zaha arguably the best winger in the EPL how many goals has he scored this season. And even previous seasons.

Finally, l apologise if l said that you in particular made multifaceted excuses for KC when he has not been perfoming. My statement was intended to be in general

What l should have said that on this thread where KC is concerned in general making multifaceted excuses has been the overriding trend.

Nobody has said that Sarr has been outstanding in the EPL. My posts have said that he had been largely dissapointing.

However, l qualified it with circumstances not excuses so as to be balancedand not too harsh. Particularly as he has been consistently outstanding in the French league one as a winger.

In this regard he has been here in the EPL for 3/4 months struggling with injuries.

Are you guys really serious about that 'Best performing foreign born prospect' award section?

You might want to have a review on that. I don't think it is polite to make them feel less Nigerian than they are.

That section should be removed or renamed.

N.B. It is similar to an award section like;
Best performing Igbo Nigerian Player : Ndidi
Best performing Yoruba player : Ola Aina

Why would you want to call them foreign born to their face?

It promotes segregation. They are all Nigerians and should remain as that.
I have already expressed my disapproval.

Yesterday was his first team debut

I am not one to jump in on youth player and call them outstanding until they are proven.

There are exceptions that l have seen and concluded they were absolute quality as a teenager of 16. That player was Dembele when he was at Fulham.

But so many promise a lot and then fade away. Some even get first team games do well for a season or two then fade away.

And when we are talking of form we are talking of the here and now in your own words. Salif Sane performance over the last 5 seasons is not what is been discussed now but his performance this season and that is what we mean by FORM.

And finally stop changing the topic of discussion we are talking about Senegalese Players and not French Players of Senegalese origin because if that's the topic been discussed there are also hundreds of Nigerian origin players in the English Leagues
Name how many Nigerian players in the EPL by your own standard

Using this statement I can say Iorfa isn't EPL quality that's why wolves decided to send him to the reserve the moment they gained promotion
Before you make deduction make sure that's it's underpinned with facts.

Nuno and Mendes super agent completed control of Wolves in the 2017/18 season.

At the end of the 2016/17 season, Dominic had played near 100 games over three consecutive seasons and a first team regular. Kaurtney Hause also amongst other English players where first team regulars.

Dominic went on loan 2017/18 season to Ipswich where he layer got injured. He then transfered to Sheffield Wednesday in January 2019.

Wolves gained promotion to the EPL in 2018/19 one season later. So your claim is essentially false and not factual.

But that's quite common here false claims and presumption from perception not facts.

Like i once told you, you can choose your own narrative depending on what side of the fence you want to be. "In-form" can be looked at from different angles. But after a player has repeated a feat, one can rightly conclude, that player is in-form especially if the player has once shown that ability. However, to conclude that the same player is no longer in form, I think that player has to show a loss of form (be unconvincing) over a period of time. So a player can still be said to be in-form even though the player may not be as good as others in terms of consistency etc.
Maybe my narrative is probably reflection of my association in football.

Managers, recruiters want to get a player who can impact the game. Deduction will be made on your attributes, your potential, unique selling points, age, value, etc. Then the next question can that player fit in with club style, philosophy and strategy. You may be great for one club but useless for another.

But your past and present make it easier to make projections and decide. That's why when a player has been consistent over two or three seasons value rises higher.

Osimhen is getting rave reviews because he has been consistent not because of a few games. But consistent in Belgium and now France.

I think you are right to some extent. But failing to consider the minutes the player has played is failing to look at all the factors... Even football analysts always brings that to bear when they are evaluating a players performances. They seldom leave that detail out of the discussion.
I don’t know any football analyst that will use the minutes you played determine your quality.

You may not believe me but l know a lot who are backroom staff in EPL clubs. They bring forth the analysis but in actual fact don't make the decision.

Managers, coaches review the stats and data and make a deduction from there. The assumption is that if your limited minutes count the you will get more.

If you don't it's because you didnt use your limited minutes to impact the game.

Komekn
You shouldn't forget to note that M'Baye Niang has played more minutes than josh maja thus leading to him scoring more goals
The stats says it
Stats are indicative but still they can be absolute. The unit not measurement is simply number of goals scored. NUTTIN else.

There is no law that says because a player plays more games he will score more. It's probable but not neccesarily logical a proven theory.

You take your chances and opportunities score and claim the glory.

Bringing minutes into the equation is to confuse matters.

If you score your club will give you more games and minutes. If you don't then the reverse is the case it's simplistic.
