This was my comment January, 30, 2020.

You can see how much time we had to prepare and get things right but this incompetent government chose to play football with people's lives.

I think it is time we wake up and fight for positions in this country. If we continue allowing selfish fools to run our lives, we will pay the cost of their stupidity.

Let this be a lesson to us and time we seek for the right leaders to run this country.
Men of high intellect and moral standing.

This has been a terrible episode.


All we can do now is to pray for a miracle.

I am now in enforced LOCK DOWN add to that LOCKED out of Nigeria effectively. So time to reflect

Our so called political leaders have always been self seeking, they have never cared, so what's new.

Corona reminds of the saying that the UK, USA, etc is a leveller, no impunity and no big man.

Corona has levelled our politicians they are not immune. Trying to replicate the temperature climes of the West artificially with A/C and thier uninterrupted 24hr electricity will speed up thier deserved demise. Covid 9 thrives in lower temperatures, let them keep feeling cool.

The poor who are forced to endure the hot harsh virus burning tropical weather, will inadvertently reduce thier propensity to the virus. Particularly if they can observe good hygiene and social distancing.

Finally, undoubtedly without any reservation, there is God that's able to do the impossible and keep you safe more so if you know him.

It's not about defenders but style of play.

Seria A is not as physically intensive and as fast as the EPL but it's more technical. That's my view.

Football is about OPPORTUNITY.

And IF is a very big word. If Frank Lampard had not been appointed manager, if Chelsea had not been banned from making transfers, maybe all the youngsters would still be in the academy or on loan. Like I said IF is a very big word.

But Tega is currently second highest goal scorer in the EPL and has proven himself as a top striker and is now playing for England. So it's irrelevant speculation now.

I should add to my list of potential clubs for Victor, Newcastle, Southampton and WestHam.

I did not say he can't finish and did not say he is weak.

I said he is not as technically astute comparative to Tega.

Victor games is PACE with the ball in front or in space or behind defenders or give and go around the forward line.

He is aggressive and but pure physicality no not like say Anichebe, Drogba, Demba Ba, Costa, Lukaku even Balotelli and Ibrahimovic.

What's your bench mark for physicality ❓

The value of a player is only known sometimes when he is not there.

Tega missed one game and chelsea looked like a toothless bulldog.

He knits the team together and makes them play as a cohesive unit. So he just doesn't bring the No. 9 position but a lot more.

In all honesty do you think Victor can do what Tega does in Chelsea.

I'm afraid, If I were to judge by the clips you shared alone, I would go for Osimhen.
Tammy's video did not do justice to his goal poaching instinct. Osimhen relies more on pace, and less trickery but clever ball control still. If I were a scout, after watching these clips, I would go for Osimhen. Osimhen is more a mobile forward. Really, they are different kind of players. I don't think Tammy will thrive in a team that likes to exploit the use of pace either.

As a recruiter with a remit to get a striker.

It will depend on the club, if you are talking top 6 clubs in the EPL then Tega will be first choice with the exclusion of Leicester.

Tega fits the bill for Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal. A player that plays within the team and strengthens it. And is technically astute can excel in a team system.

Victor strength is not technical ability but pace. His first touch is not great. In Leicester they play with a true number 9 and he may find it less difficult. Bournemouth, Brighton may be other options. Wolves is debatable.

Understand he may look super fast in the French league but it may not be so easy in the EPL.

The videos give an insight into players attributes character and particular style.

Victor is not going to bully any EPL defender the way he does it in the French league. The question is can he adapt his game to meet they physicality of the EPL.

He's better off going to the Bundesliga in my opinion or maybe Seria A.

Drogba was technically ability, skill, devastating finishing and strength but his game was not based on pace. Huge difference.

Osimhen is aggressive that doesn't mean strength they are two different things.

Victor is a taller version of Vardy but a work in progress. Take away the pace from Vardy and what is left.

Lille play entirely to the strengths of Osimhen.

Osimhen is not technically astute as Tega.

If football was based on gra gra and aggression then there would be no need for technique.

Neymar, Mbappe, Messi, Ronaldo, are aggressive with technique. The dont just use pace bit football intelligence and incredible first touch football with pin point accuracy.

Tega is fast he just doesn't base his entire game on pace he has so much more. That's why you don't see him use so often. In addition the ball is not always played ahead for him to run on too.

Look how Tega links up the entire forward line as well as the midfield with one touch football bringing and knitting the team together to work with so much cohesion. That requires a lot more football intelligence and technical ability.

The idea of one player as a focal point works for a lot of teams but it's not the approach of most top teams today.

Tega has too much in his drawer technically to be caged easily. He makes defenders look foolish if they dive in.

They are both strikers but VERY DIFFERENT in thier style and character as well as individual attributes. Thier capacity to adapt and be versatile to different types and patterns of football will also very different.

I don't use YouTube videos as a benchmark for players quality. However, it can give you a very good insight into a players character, style and inherent technical attributes.

Osimhen thrives with the ball to run on too and behind the defenders. That's where he can use his pace. The team strategy at Lille is entirely geared up towards him.

In a bigger team that will not be the case.

You can make your own deductions on Tega. You have eyes.

It's for this reason Victor has to be very very careful what team he chooses to go toafterwards Lille. A team that suits his attributes and that will play to enhance them.

Check all positions of each of their players and compare the strength to those in those epl big teams and you will understand

Almost all psg players will be starting in the epl big teams, they will only find it hard with liverpool and city but half of their players will still start there

I know what i am saying.

Many players who struggled in the EPL have found it far more comfortable and even excelled in the French league.

You don't find many players who couldn't cut it in the French league one then came to excel in the EPL.

It's a different league with different set of requirements.

Hamstring injuries have different scales major and minor tears.If it's major require a lot of rehab and physio therapy input. The scar tissue can cause all kinds of problems and discomfort.

And the English tag surely works in Tammy's favor plus the fact that he is in form for this Chelsea side. Whoever Chelsea brings in as a striker will play backup to Tammy as I don't see Lampard benching him. This is why I also feel Timo Werner to Chelsea may not work.

I know that you get overly emotive when it comes to your preferred Nigerian born and homegrown players.

But l expected some degree of objectivity beyond he is far better. You don't present any parameters or objective based assessment based deductions. just he is better.

Slight digression depending on requirements of the club, if we are looking for U18 players for instance. We start from technical ability that will very much hinge on first touch amongst other attributes, pace, decision making, adaptability and versatility. I expect you should know these things.

He scored one goal does not equate to he bossed the defence.
