you see why your comments here carries so much lopsidedness...
many a time you come here to pass this players down our throat...reason because the ones you talked about ain't good for 3 lions and so the super eagles is a better way to market them.and make them of value to epl and other league clubs.....

for that your ilorfa since you've refused to be teachable and open to learning.

I will leave you...every reasonable folks here knows that the NFF first approached ilorfa..just like what Eze said...he did same hoping to progress through the English cadet teams to the 3lions set up....

if he is not good enough for England...then he is not good enough for the super eagles....

we currently begging this lads reason because we have failed to develop our football in the local scene...
we have got a population of over 200M
I am not sure you intend to convey with the term lopsided. I presume you mean my objective fact based deductive opinion is weighted more towards Nigerian origin players in the UK.

Facts Dominic Iorfa committed to playing for Nigeria when he was 18 then playing for England youth team. He said he would play for Nigeria when he is 23. This is established fact.

His circumstances at the time, he was the among the most promising youth defenders in England. He was invited to train with the England first team. Established fact.

He was playing with Wolves as teenager and was thier most promising player. Was a first team regular consistently and continously for 3 years.

Once he had finished playing U21 for England and had his long term contractual future signed sealed and delivered. He then contacted the NFF and subsequently Rohr came to visit him in March 2017 when he was a first team regular for Wolves. Very strong commitments and promises were made by Rohr. In effect he has been more HONOURABLE by coming to make commitment 2 years earlier than promised. FACT established.

Rohr made his recommendations very positively to the NFF. What did the NFF for with them absolutely nothing. ESTABLISHED FACT.

Why have the NFF not invited Dominichuh ❓ We can speculate but ability is not the issue. We also know that his Father contested the presidency of the NFF and lost with multiple allegations of bribery against other contestants. There is an acrimonious relationship with the NFF and Iorfa senior on account of allegations of corruption. Factual based probable deduction.

I have given a long epistle factual based on the unprecedented going on at Wolves with the take over and running of club by proxy by Portuguese super agent Mendes. The subsequent FA investigation, etc.

Now consider your nonsensical proposition in bold that's ludicrous and puts you to public ridicule. "That if not good enough for England they are not good enough for the SE"

Now look at your comments and sentiment based preferences and emotive led inferences.

Now ask yourself who is being IRRATIONAL and LOPSIDED.

If you don't know anything it's better to be quite and if you are wise learn from those who know on this thread.

I pity folks who take you serious here...

Either you are still in high school or youthful exuberance is leaving you with limited understanding.

Why do you find it so hard to have a balanced weighted view of matters. Things are not always in black and white.

Further perplexed with the depth of discourse that has been expressed here you still pack the ability to appreciate matters objectively.

I av bn ur ally in here in this particular matter (Eze), but in this case, u are alone, if this news is substantiated. This is the right time Bkus I don't see any major difference between now and the Brazil, Ukraine matches.
In life timing is everything.

Bible talk say " time for everything "

When Eze was selected for the SE, l was completely against as being unjustified and unfair.

But it seems someone seen his outstanding potential talent. Kudos to that person.

But then after invitation to the feast we waited over two years before presenting the food, unfortunately that's not good enough. The food has gone Ice cold.

What's the point of identifying talent then doing nothing. If the could invite Osimhen ( unjustified at the time) to play, then Nwakali, Otabor, etc, etc

What where they waiting forhuh

Regrets about the failure to call Eze before this time is unnecessary. If he chooses to play for the English U21's ahead of the Super Eagles, it clearly shows he was never interested in playing for Nigeria, he fancied Nigeria when he thought his talent won't be recognized. If he accepted to play for Nigeria prior to hitting it big time, he will pull Kevin Prince Boateng on us.

The one and only player who choose to play for Nigeria when he was on the up still remains Victor Anichebe. At the time he scored 40 goals for the Everton youth team and took the Epl by storm with great performances. It didn't take much for Yobo to convince him when he had the attention of the FA.
Every other person bar, Victor Anichebe used Nigeria as a fall back option.
You really have no idea.

You think it was Yobo that convinced him.

I didn't say playing for Nigeria will devalue his worth but making reference to the politics in the English FA. Eze as a young player is trying to do what it's best for his career elevation at the moment.

Aina as of the time he change allegiance wasn't tipped for the top after having an average loan spell at hull before torino snapped in up on loan and the move was made permanent afterwards. Their case is different because Eze is one of the best in the championship this season and you don't expect the English FA to fold their arms and watch him slip off their fingers

Alot of this European nations are following the steps of victorious French team at the last world cup in order to build a formidable team and as well have a rich depth of talented players at their disposal which is the main reason the mad rush to cap players of foreign ancestry is on the rise of late.

This FA's go all out to promise this lads mouth watering incentives which comes with alot of previledge in their clubs as home grown talents that enhances their career progression and value.

Without mincing words Eze stands a chance of having a great career with the super eagles but I think what is making him lean to the English for now is for the sake of his young career.

My advise to rohr and the nff is not to give up on him. I think a visit to speak with him may do the magic, also involving the likes of Iwobi, Aina and Aribo in the discussion will make him decide fast
Once Eze gets his long term contractual future signed sealed and delivered.

He will play for Nigeria IMO my final word on the matter.

bro... playing for the super eagles would have enhance his market value too....
as a Nigeria international...a good and outstanding performance for club and country will fetch you a good epl club.....

it is sure... Aina fetch a good club playing for us and likewise Troost.... no thing beats being an international for a country with a good fifa ranking....
abeg the bobo nor get excuse....he is confused... by the time he realise it might be too late just the regret we currently reading from one of the German boys
Playing for Nigeria when you are already an outstanding player in the Championship DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR YOU.

Aina was a Chelsea player and at one stage the most outstanding RB in the Championship. He was in the shopping list of a multitude of clubs.

By going to Seria A he increased his market value

Nonetheless, we decided to pick a dead Echiejile over him who had literally expired.

So how then did playing for Nigeria propel his career forward.

Tega and Tomori were outstanding in the Championship that's why they are in the EPL playing for Nigeria is an act of honour and love for his Father land not career progression. Particularly for England youth international players.

Eze has committed to England. If we like make we wait till next year as we are waiting for Tega
If l was Eze l would do exactly what's he is doing.

He is currently on the radar of multiple EPL clubs to create greater £££ money value for yourself. Your rating goes way up as a prospective England international as well as the very lucrative endorsements from the marketing of your personal brand. check what Nike pay Rashford and you will understand. Compare the commercial endorsements of Nigerian international players to English ones.

After you have signed your long term contract then you can commit to Nigeria. By then the money is in the bag and you are sorted.

This is exactly what Dominic Iorfa did and after he signed his contract he committed to the NFF two years earlier than he agreed to.

there is obviously a hidden motive on why you visit this thread....
probably to devalue and downplay our players achievements before our very face....

only a biased, a prejudiced fellow will score Sadiq play yesterday way poor.....
dude did his best
... and it was recognized.
His best was not good enough no prejudice.

I don't think you watched the game, it was a poor game especially for Manchester United if they had played a league one side with that approach they would have been beaten.

But did Partizan take advantage, no they did not they didn't have the quality to trouble Manchester United, they were poor.

So what exactly did Umar do that was outstanding huh ❓ How many aerial balls did he win, where was his hold up play, did he burn the Man. U defence for pace, did he dominate them physically huhhuh Did he score ❓ ❓ Did he get the MOTMhuhhuh ❓ So what did he do that was outstandinghuh

He had two shots but did not score.

My honest opinion is that there are many non league strikers who would do better.

Then taken in the context of we are looking for strikers in the SE to compete at World level he falls very way off the mark.

Actually you are the one being sentimental and biased to the point you cannot make an objective based deduction on player performance.

In comparison look at my comments on Uche Ikpeazu, who left English league two and almost single handedly rendered Glasgow Rangers impotent. Infact don't look at my comments look at all the match reports and the praise heaped on Ikpeazu. Look at the transfer speculation surrounding him.

Now let's look at Rangers and Celtic a good comparison two teams that are in a league supposedly below the Serbian league. Celtic were able to beat a Seria A team Lazio and Rangers got a draw away against Porto.

I’ve watched Sadiq play against Barca. Since that day i concluded his time will come.
I watched Sadiq Umar play in the Eredivisie for Breda and l concluded then he was big for nothing. Always falling all over the place, l felt there was something wrong with his feet. And that if he was to play in English league one he would be anonymous. Essentially not good enough in that physically intense league.

Well my conclusions were confirmed when he went to Rangers and disgraced himself thoroughly. A situation were he was struggling to make headway in the U23.

When these clear facts are established people call it HATE. With the explanation that he was not given game time and or Gerrard is racist.

You earn game time by what you do in training and then confirmed in games. It is not a RIGHT.

I have learned that one game doesn't make a player but consistency over a period. So the Barca example doesn't cut it for me and it's more so of youth football.

But to u Aneke and Maja were top qualities when they were the best players among teams of poor players in MK DONS and Sunderland?

When ur hated player distinguishes himself among poor players, it is nothing special but when an INNIT does same, it becomes golden. U are such a joke, same as ur hype men
At no time did l say the players in MK DONS were poor, thats your first misinformation.

Second thing Maja and Aneke were among the top outstanding players at that time in league one.

This is about continous consistent top quality perfomances over the whole season not just one match. A number of players left league one straight to the premiership on account of thier consistent performances.

No matter how low and poor a team its 11 men on the pitch. Are they just going to stand and look. Of course not they will play for recognition and for thier lives.

When Newport County from league two played Leicester city in the FA cup and beat them. Did that make them all of sudden becomes EPL quality.huhhuh ❓ Not at all.

But now back to Partizan, this is a Manchester United at its lowest level performance wise in a long time. And yet Partizan could not beat them.

Now back to Sadiq Umar, what did he dohuh ❓ Did he score, dis he dominate the game was he outstandinghuh ❓ Did he do anything outstanding.

So because he a had a few shots in the game that never hit the target or scored. WE SHOULD CELEBRATE HIM.

And in your sentimenal emotive based bias for a player because he is Nigerian born. You want too enthrone MEDIOCRITY.

Then when things are said as they are you call it HATE.

There is a reason why Sadiq is playing in Serbia because he himself is a poor quality striker no need to beat around the bush.

Even in the moi moi league is he the outstanding striker, is he the highest goal scorer. he unfortunately is none if these things. Yet you want to say my view is HATE.

I think you should look in mirror and ask yourself some questions. That's If you can even see yourself from the darkness that surrounds your self.
