Oga, maybe you don't have information how invitations get sorted.
Let me gist you. Players are notified 1 week or 2 before the invitation list is made public. Durring this little window, players can pull out if there are injured and replacement called up. That is standard practice. A player who has never been capped will be will be first contacted through his club or management to know his readiness.
Sorry to say, but due process was respected in the Eze saga. Only insatiable Nigerians will fault the management of the call up leaving the man at the centre of it all.
The bulk stops at Eze's desk here. You can't blame anyone else except you have contrary evidence.
All that is academic.

Well before the list is made public there is unofficial and official contact to determine players interest.

So that's essentially irrelevant, question remains why did it take 2 years and 9 months after his first invitation to train to give him a call up.

It's even more inexcusable when you consider where Eze was at that time and where he was within a year of that first invitation. He has been consistently and continously progressing Upwards.

you are as good as the average of your performance all season long. Messi has had bad games.. we cannot write him off because of a couple of games. He still remains one of the highest (if not the highest) rated PLAYERS in the championship so far.
We should have invited the lad when it was so so obvious we needed a deputy to Iwobi when Mikel was away. That said, what's wrong with naming the player for the qualifiers. if we do that and he rejects the call then I will support our moving on. I don't see why we are making INDIRECT approaches on a player who has shown he is ours in the past. it's nonsensical to me.

Mark Bowen explains why Liverpool starlet is making a big impression at Reading FC

The on-loan Liverpool starlet has caught the eye for Royals this season and has established himself as a fans' favourite.

The midfield dynamo is already being tipped for a career at the top and has shown a lot of promise despite being only 21 years old.

Ejaria is highly thought of by those at Liverpool and manager Bowen, who has worked with some of the best European talents in the game, is among the long queue of his admirers.

However, Royals boss has insisted that despite impressing in the portion of Championship season, there is still so much more to come from the Reds youngster.

Speaking at his pre-Millwall press conference, Bowen said: "He really has (a lot of potential). He's still on this journey if you like to become a top player. He came away from Liverpool so that's an education for him and we were delighted to get him.

"I'd love to try and push him more because, listen, we're fully aware he's quality all over the pitch, he rarely gives the ball away. He'll tell you himself if he's got one or two things to work on it's his goal tally and, in terms of actually creating goals for people, not just being a link player.

"That Queens Park Rangers pass, seeing the pass early, being able to execute it. We can all see he still has things to work on in his game but there's no doubt the ammunition he already has got if he can improve that and keep going the way he is, he is a special player."

Ejaria has made 11 appearances for Reading this season, scoring twice and registering one assist.
Ovie expressed intention to play for Nigeria quite some time ago. But to date NOTHING.

He himself is perplexed at the way the NFF didn't thier things, which essentially " Say one thing do another.

Someone spotted his talent over 2 Years ago and he was invited to train with the team, you were very vocal against that move. Someone also spotted Osimhen's talent even when he wasn't performing and he was also invited to the team.

We had the likes of Mikel and iwobi ahead of him that's why we've not really considered him. Now it's his time to shine and he's forming jagaban.
If he thinks he has blown and he's too big for us we wish him the very best in his international career. Soldier go, soldier come, barrack remains.

Two starters for Chelsea refused us and we're still here and someone is disturbing us over a championship player.

If he accepts fine, if he doesn't we remain Naija!
You have completely bypassed the substance and the questions raised.

My proposition remains the same " Better to have a Lion in a lower league and club than an anonymous mouse in a top club and league "

Osimhen was selected not invited to play for the SE when he was essentially a youth player. Iwobi had not kicked a ball for the Arsenal first team before he started playing for the SE.

What you have done is express double standard with hypocrisy and attempt to justify it

The question remains why did it take 2 and half years to have Eze capped or even invited.

Football is a business that's intrinsically linked to TIMING. Question remains why the DELAY.

The NFF was able to invite Nwakali who was playing in a obscure Nordic league and was very far from being outstanding. But for reasons unknown he was invited.

The muted indecisive response from Eze is an outcome response to the NFF and thier double standard and questionable delay.

You miss the point and the core questions raised.

Instead you imply dishonourable and disrespectful conduct on the part of Eze. When actually the behaviour of the NFF has just been that.

Honour and integrity is not a regular item on the dinner menu of most Nigerians. The demands of acceptable practice and etiquette ignored if not butchered.

Your deductions are a sad reflection of that prevalent mentality of a lack of honour and integrity in our general dealings.

It's the same mentality that seen Sone Aluko excluded from the NFF after outstanding performances inexplicably without any question to date.

Someone is not ready to play for naija and you are here saying something else

What part of that you cant understand ?

A player prefers the english u21 at the moment and you are here saying rohr is clueless
The double standard hidden agenda and lack of clarity comes entirely from the NFF.

Ebere Eze trained with the first team over two and half years ago and it should have been obvious he has some good potential.

Why would they wait for 2 and half years plus ➕ it would be very reasonable to believe you are not wanted. And so therefore you should look elsewhere.

Now that he has blown we have remembered that he exists. It's the a similar situation we had with Aina NFF fumbled his application for change of allegiance with delays. Then we selected a dead Echiejile over him.

Meanwhile we selected an Osimhen who had done absolutely nothing to justify AT THE TIME a call up. We even called in Nwakali from the dead wood forest of an obscure league.

Why did the NFF not invite Eze at least a year ago.

The NFF lacks integrity and is open to multiple questions about how they have conducted themselves.

Success on bench, back from injury
For a player who hardly ever plays he spends a lot of time being injured. I want to speculate tjat he has fitness issues amongst other problems and as such he injury prone.

Watford is not a club that will condone unfit players, they have no-nonsense strict training regime.

There are a lot of youth players quite a few who are of Nigerian origin very hungry to get in the first team.

The NFF did a good job in identifying a player as excellent potential. I at the time disagrees because he had done nothing.

However, after doing that great piece of work they did NOTHING for two years plus. Now that he is getting all the attention and we have remembered him.

I can see his value exceeding £25 million as it stands now. And him going to a EPL club in the January transfer window.

He may or may not be interested in playing for England. He is not stupid he will play the game and after January he will make his commitment.

After watching the Liverpool FC game against Arsenal.

I had a look at the young players given opportunities and for me the Arsenal players were outstanding and definitely justified thier selection.

I did not have the same view for Liverpool, Craig Jones was the best of the Liverpool bunch. Not the kid being hyped now Harvey.

None of them were better than Adekanya but he never got a chance in the first team.

Now among all these young players they are not as good as Chukwueze.

But l am concerned that OPPORTUNITY is not a clear reflection of ability. It seems marketing (packaging) who your agent is what gives you over-riding advantage.

Will Chukwueze get Opportunity at Liverpool yes will he be given the benefit of the doubt and given the opportunity to develop and adapt. I simply do not know.

Is it the best move for him it's open to debate because he can easily become a business transaction. And then his career will stagnate although his bank balance will expand.

Kun nnam yan sak
I reply in Uhrobo Eeejo.

Talking from experience the Velar is not heavy it feels somewhat light weight too me. Doesn't inspire too much confidence on higher speeds to me.

It has a very stupendously fuel efficient 2 litres turbo charged diesel engine. The torque is massive and acceleration 0-60 seemed to be well under 7 second too me. I can see fuel consumption to be in the 60mpg on the highway.

All these observations are in the UK.

I don't like the feel of the car l prefer the RR sport or AudiQ7.

If you are talking Nigeria, getting a good quality diesel may prove challenging if not downright catastrophic.

Particularly if you buy diesel sourced in Bayelsa from the "boys" so to speak.

You probably should but from NNPC mega stations or at least TOTAL anybody else and your on your own. You will need a lot of additives and probably change your fuel filter every 6 months at least.

You will not get the near 60+ mpg we get in Europe at best 40 or lower.

Add all TLC required to keep your RR velar going on Nigeria trouble free. Is it really worth it.

I guess it's a matter of preference.

From reports, K. Nwakali has performed well playing for the u23. If he compliments the coach's methods, I think it would be a wrong move to drop him for a player that does not suit the coach because of the challenges Nwakali is facing.

Nwakali is even one of the reasons I respect Imama.
That's not the issue.

In my experience I have a conundrum of sorts where i am not sure which is the most important bathing required to succeed ABILITY or OPPORTUNITY.

You will be suprised how many boys who are playing in NPFL and even in English non league. If given OPPORTUNITY will give a good account of themselves.

The issue is who is most DESERVING OF OPPORTUNITY. There has to be an objective measurement of performance that entitles you yo be invited and if you perform SELECTED.

So whether Nwakali performs or doesn't perform that's not the issue.

Do you know how well the multitude of more deserving players would have performed if given the same opportunity.huh

His name does not begin with K , O or C.

According to the majority here you would think the SE team is made up of only 3/4 players.

Then we have a lot of praise, excuses and preference for certain players who are doing nothing.

For instance Nwakali a player that failed at Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie, then couldn't get started in Porto youth football. Then after Arsenal let him go for nothing he can't even get a game at Huesca in the Spanish 2nd tier. The last time he played a game of football was last season.

But somehow defying all logic and reasoning he is in the U23 as captain. What an insult to other players working hard and progressing.

Add to that people keep talking about him here like he Is Messi. And anybody who dares say anything contrary you are labelled HATER.

There is a clear, continuous and consistent trend here. In which many arguments are anchored not on fact and substance but whim, sentiment and even prejudice.

But that's what makes it such light hearted entertainment.
