Koboko99: We saw all the consistent continous top class outstanding performances in your club and league that Theo Walcott put up for Arsenal to deserves a place in the 2006 world cup squad or the world class performances Jesse Lingard and Danny Welbeck put up to deserve being called when we know they were shitty.
Spare us the epistles Apostle Righteous, I don't support the selection process but as Supernerd has said earlier the coach needs players that will be released by their club sides when we need them. Nwakali is available and has always performed when called upon, so I see no reason why he should be left out. It's not justifiableDo you know the last time he played a game of competitive football Last season essentially many many moths ago. It's only in Nigeria a player who has not played club football for over six months is called to the national team. THATS UNACCEPTABLE. There are hundreds of Nigerian players within the age range playing across Europe. That have got better justification for an invitation. Do you know how well they will do if invited ❓ That's a very weak excuse infact it's laughable that clubs will not release players. So therefore l will select players who don't have clubs. Chei see reasoning. Maybe you have very low norms, values and no sense of what fairplay means. But l do. It's simply WRONG and you are clutching at straws mentioning Walcott its an irrelevance. |

safarigirl: so, now you're touting headlines from random sites as proof?
So, when it is Tammy Madrid wants, the news is legit, but when it is Chukwueze that is in Klopp's books, it's all lies and Samu would never make it in the EPL?
This your post is smelling. Tammy will be exposed in Spain, the same way his predecessors, Hazard and Courtois have been exposed, wearing the same Madridista kit. He will join an exclusive list of ex-Chelsea players tanking at the Bernabeu. You think La Liga plays rush rush football like EPL? Tell ya boy to remain in England if he knows what is good for him and his baby career. See bad belle. Can you tell us why the creme de La creme of Spanish football, that's Real and Barca always go shopping in the EPL. ❓ It seems your dislike and prejudice towards Nigerian origin players in the UK has caused you to befuddled in your understanding of football. The basis for selection should always be about consistent continous top class outstanding performances in your club and league NUTTIN ELSE. It's a problem because it means you are denying players OPPORTUNITY. Nobody has a birthright to play in the national team because he got thier first. TheSuperNerd: Hey Clown. I know the mention of Tammy bites you so much. Ofcos you will side with Joebie who stands with you on shady grounds as regards Tammy. The man lied about grinning to Tammy's goal... He tried so much to evade the truth and he even denied at first he grinned with glee. He eventually caved in. I guess he gets that evasive part from much association with you on here. See? You really are a bad influence my man. Lol
You are for Tammy lying and using Nigeria as clout to boost his chances of getting the England cap which eventually worked and that just says a whole lot more about what kind of a shady and subtly dishonest fellow you are.
I know I give you nightmares on here because my posts always and always cancel out the many rubbishes, fallacies and half truths you spill. This one is just one out of a thousand others. Thegoodjoe, Icon4s and BascoVanVeli you mention are all aware of your dark ways on here against indigenous Naija born lads. They just wanna play it cool with you... But me, I don't even give you breathing space at all coz I know exactly who you are.
So long mister... And ohhh Osimhen said hi yesterday with another beautiful goal. Once again a Leopard can not change it's spots. Emotive sentiment based negative prejudice. TheSuperNerd: Nwakali set to be officially unveiled by SD Huesca
The 21-year-old joined the Spanish outfit on a free transfer from Arsenal last summer but was made to wait after plenty of setbacks in his attempt to secure a work permit to enable him play in Spain.
Nwakali, who is now with Nigeria’ U-23 team preparing for the 2020 Olympic Games qualifiers in Egypt, will however join the team officially later this month after both the player and club representatives meet to conclude all terms involving the transfer.
The news will be welcomed by the former U-17 World Cup winner who has been left frustrated with the turn of events regarding his club’s future, having failed to play any competitive club game since March this year.
Nwakali will, however, be tasked with the responsibility of leading the Olympics Eagles on Saturday when they file out against Ivory Coast in their first match of the AFCON U-23 qualifiers in Egypt.
Source: AOIFOOTBALL So a player who has not kicked a ball since last season in a competitive match and prior to that was struggling to make the bench of the Porto B youth team. And has been far from impressive in the Eredivisie and even after demotion to the Dutch 2nd tier was still anonymous. Is now tasked with leading U23 is that not hypocritical double standard and undue favoritism. It's an insult to players across the globe who have been performing but not invited. But Nwakali is selected without question. NFF hmmm too many ❓ ❓ |

TheSuperNerd: It's okay. You can lie coz I know you won't own up. Not that it bothers me but it just exposes you for who you are. You deny your Tammy bias but it is so obvious. That only speaks about you. You encouraged a talk with a "grin of pleasure" about a guy you even agreed should not be focused on in the light of when we talk our Super Eagles players and Prospects. A player who spat on our faces (literally that is what he did even though he does "love" the country).
I will only say this... Just focus on our actual players. Tammy is gone forever. Focus on the ones that want to play for us and are playing for us.
I see the way you always try to label Nigeria and Nigerians as one country with every one bad and everything corrupt. You sound like you are some saint while every other Nigerian is stinky. I see the way you bash this country's citizens as if all are bad eggs and command some silly arrogance. You keep talking like the Naija foreign borns are always right and Nigeria is always wrong. Even in Eze's matter, you stand with Eze even after the lad asked for time to think about representing a nation that has now come for him. You even made a silly comment about inviting the lad without his consent... Like what the f**k?!
Man, I have been watching. To you, Nigeria is all shades of bad while the foreign borns are all shades of good. This is partly why your bias for Tammy never wanes. You always want to drum in the negatives of the country and indirectly use that to say, "Well, Tammy was right to do what he did by dragging our open arms in the mud and throwing it into the trashcan".
Your stand on this is truly distorted and the likes of Kellycute and Chriskels (and one other Monicker I do not recall for now) have called you out on this on very few different occasions. The bold is entirely from your prejudiced negative twisted bigoted perception. Once again no substantive facts just your negative imagination. Everything you have said about Joebie is self-birthed, self-justified, self based and self absorbed and is all PERCEPTION LED. You make no attempt to substantiate your emotive prejudiced led inferences. But somehow you think they are substantive. It's very conceited and arrogant. Your rhetoric is like the emotive rantings of a women scorned. You don't determine what people should talk about it may not meet your particular preferences. But it's his choice to discuss, mention or highlight whatever issue he wants. You are not the traffic warden of the thread. You try to bully and aggressively harass anyone who does not agree with your train of thought. This approach is very juvenile and far from positive. I thought by now you should have learned a bit more civility on this forum. But alas I was being over optimimistic where your concerned. What I am saying in a NUTSHELL is stop bullying people who don't agree with you. Try and be mature and appreciate every ones perspective. I for one don't always agree with quite a few hear. I find myself opposed to Icon4s, BascoVanVeli and TheGoodJoe on many occasions. But we don't get into a vendetta of hostile words and contention. |

Joebie: Let's borrow a leaf from Netherlands. if the team has only one abroad born player it should be because that's the best team possible. if the best we can have is dominated by 90% abroad born players then so be it. We should always be about presenting our best. Sentiments kill progress. We should be blind to where a player is born etc. We are in a globalized world, there is no such thing as a true Nigerian, or being more NIgerian than someone else. Only people who feel threatened think like that. just like so many white supremacist in America who are threatened feel immigrants will overpower them eventually. These things are not different. tbaba1234: For most European countries, if they fail the players continue their development in top European clubs. For Africans, failure means many of these players will disappear 100% correct. I would add that a lot of our players come with huge handicaps. That's why we seem to have dominated youth football historically and presently particularly at U17 level. However, for all that dominance we have not produced a commensurate number of top class players reflective of our dominance at youth level. |

Joebie: oga that Averageee remark is fun to me.. so don't get irritated about that.. na just tribute to Afobear lol.
I'm speaking from a tournament standpoint.. In terms of what individual players will become, it can go either way. Some players that we write off may turn out to develop well and be the best in future.. I'm not castigating anyone who have been able to notice some talents here and there, but let's not forget why we came here. I will assess the team as a TEAM.
Modified I don't think coaching was the problem in this team. I've followed how this team was formed and their preparation. I think it was administrative lapses and interference from several quarters. We know what Manu Garba can do. Agreed without reservation. But with an addition of too much emphasis is given to youth football here. Youth football particularly U17 is at best indicative nit conclusive of quality. There is a very very long way to go. But we get seemingly over excited about it here. |

IMO a nonsensical proposition without any substance. My proposition is that the larger majority of the fastest players are actually the BEST PLAYERS in the world today. I did not add Adama Traore of Wolves because his end product for me is not up to the expected standard. Otherwise he currently the fastest player in the World. As a bench mark we could use Fifa 19 which is not completely conclusive but indicative enough to underpin and substantiate my position. Iwobi had been involved in pre-season matches with Arsenal prior to the commencement of the EPL season i remember him scoring in one of the emirates cup matches that year so alex wasn't some fresh nosed youngster who was plucked form nowhere into the national team. his debut was a friendly anyway which is an avenue to test new players nothing untoward there. by the time we now called alex up for the competitive game against egypt he had broken into the starting XI of Arsenal I reiterate that Iwobi had not played one game for the first team or Arsenal before he had played for the SE. What is the half truth thier. Do we now reckon with training games, even players on trial can be given pre season games. You will have academy prospects playing in pre season games. You are now being misleading. Facts remain Iwobi had not played a single game for Arsenal in the EPL before playing for the SE. Ok, u no call eze directly, so why not mandate ur assistant to meet eze directly? instead na d mama u send am make him go toast. Rohr isnt serious at all I don't like making unsubstantiated allegations. But from my personal experience of football in the UK l find it intrinsically corrupt. The amount of agreement and players transfers that are more concerned with " What's in it for me" exceeds the deals done strictly on players perfomances by a large margin. I find neatly all football managers have preferred agents sometimes those agents are thier children and or brothers or very close friends. Essentially without those agents you are not getting in. The only manager that l can personally vouch for that has a zero tolerance for deals is Chris Houghton. That doesn't mean there are any but he's the only one l know and l know a few. Now if l transfer that deduction to Nigeria your allegations can not be ignored even if they can't be proven. Now this is not an upstanding media outlet in my opinion. But this is a manager very quick to forgive a very senior coach caught red handed in bribery for positions in the SE. Add to that l know the NFF and my guy Amaju.
