Danielnino00: Tomori didn't hit form until he joined Derby last season.. u said it yourself that he wasn't good enough for a call up back then..
U said it yourself that players should only be called up on the basis of current outstanding performance... now u are saying we waited too long...
Were u expecting us to call him up while he was still playing for Chelsea academy? The screen shot below is self explanatory and it was posted January 2019. Please read and exactly what l said is what is happening now.

If you know Eze tell him to publicly pledge his allegiance to Nigeria so we can know where he stands A woman does not claim loyalty to a man until he has paid her bride price. There may be expressions of interest it's not commitment Nigeria has had ample opportunity to invite Eze and if England decide to call him. Will he clutch on to wind and fresh air in the name of " l pledge to Nigeria my country - - - - How can you commit to someone who has refused to commit to you. |

Were u expecting us to call him up while he was still playing for Chelsea academy? As l have said before football is very short term career. A year is a very long time, two seasons is history and anything after that is archived. Very early 2019 l put in a post in which l said invite him now dont delay. |

That was how u said Pinnick never meet with Tammy Abraham in London and that Tammy never turned us down.. We waited way too long , there was a time he was willing and ready but we delayed and we are doing the same thing with Eze once again. |

Joebie: I didn’t join this discussion from the beginning so I may be lost. But let’s not be too sentimental. Eze was called up to a get together by Rohr and he honored it. Why did England still invite him after then? Because after doing introduction , he was not invited to the wedding party, "introduction no be marriage" So if you like do introduction, no pay dowry no do wedding another man go collect the prize |

Nonsense, Ebere Eze knows which country he wants to play for, he's not a robot or a kid Tomori was not invited officially just speculation , we waited for him to blow then we remembered him, that's why dem say "know me when i'm poor" What prevents the NFF from inviting all these outstanding promising players 6/7 of them give them a sense of belonging , understand invitation is not selection, if they prove themselves then SELECTION. Come the January window if Eze get taken up by Southampton or anybody else in the EPL then we will suddenly remember him. WRONG APPROACH |

Danielnino00: The ass licking of foreign born players here no be small thing o. Well done nerdy... u just gave that guy a befitting reply There should be one consideration only ABILITY in the HERE & NOW in the context of consistent continuous outstanding performances for league and club. The emotive and sentiment based preference for players on the basis of youth glories is simply irrational and has no substance with regard to invitation to the SE. This convoluted concept of allegiance and loyalty to Nigeria is nonsensical. If Nigerian players born and bred in Nigeria could change allegiance to another country that would result in lucrative football contracts , DO YOU THINK ANY OF THEM will choose Nigeria when millions of £££$$$$ is involved. Most will tear thier 9ja passport and opt not too return. Please wake up and stop being super delusional about this idea of allegiance to the nation. |

ChrisKels: Forget all the nonsense komekn said here when Osimhen was having a rough patch in Germany, listen to the man who knows the game - Ocampos da great.
Luis Campos: The transfer chief with the Midas touch: Portuguese sporting director has helped unearth over £500m of footballing talent One of the most wanted men in football may not be the most familiar.
Sporting director Luis Campos has unearthed over £500m worth of footballing talent during his time at Monaco and Lille, and in an exclusive interview with Sky Sports, gives a fascinating insight into his methods.
His CV is quite something, helping unearth Kylian Mbappe, Nicolas Pepe, James Rodriguez, Anthony Martial, Fabinho, Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy.
The 55-year-old has been sporting director at Lille since 2017, helping them return to the Champions League after discovering some of Europe's best talents while at Monaco from 2013.
Here, he talks through the key players he found, how he is determined to see players live - even for a few minutes - and whether he could be tempted out of Lille, having been linked with a number of European clubs over the summer, including Chelsea.
VICTOR OSIMHEN
His latest find, 20-year-old Nigerian forward Osimhen, has scored seven in 10 games for Lille, including against Chelsea last week.
"I went to Lagos to see their preparation for the U17 World Championships. After one match I wanted him. But his price was very expensive for a 17-year- old. I spoke to my CEO. I called him every night saying, 'Please give me this player, he is amazing. In two years he will be one of the best in Europe'.
"In the end the player went to Wolfsburg. I went to Wolfsburg just to see him play. Sometimes he only played for five minutes, sometimes only two. I was crazy for him! Then he had a virus and had five or six months not playing and went to Charleroi in Belgium. Two months later I signed him. So itʼs a nice story. I lost the player but then got him back.
"If all is normal at the end of the season there will be a big move for him because he's like a cat. You know, if you have a cat and give it a ball! Heʼs unbelievable. In the last 20 metres he attacks every ball. Every ball. Like a cat."
I must commend Rohr here for seeing same thing Ocampos saw, that made both men stick with the boy even when things were not going quite well for him due to ailment. Your clutching at straws. His coaches who saw him train day in and day out thought so highly of him they let him go and did not see fit to give him a chance in the first team at Wolfsburg. My opinion has not changed AT THAT TIME he was simply not good enough he has improved a lot and has taken his goals well. There is a very very long way to go before he becomes world class. But he is on the right track . |

you see how clueless pinnick has become...his time is going down as one of the worst administration ever..... Why do you think there are delays in getting Nigerian origin players even those capped at youth level by England. IMO first issue is administrative incompetence the delay to get Aina was not from FIFA but the NFF, why Then the other issue is conflicting interests players already established in Europe will not understand the Egunje mentality. Finally, considering the huge pay out to Rohr do any of you truly believes that he gets all of his salary and does not have to give a % to the powers that be . So why would anybody think he has total control over player selection. |

I have said this many times before, we seem to invite players from the pages of news papers, but dont actually make an official invitation. This has happened so many times, i have talked to quite a few of our Nigeria origin players in the UK and i always find their version of events is very different from the one the NFF presents. tbaba1234: This Otabor invite is one of the worst, i have seen in a while.
Totally unjustified.
Rohr has to take the blame.
It gives us a glimpse into how Nigerian football is run.
Pure nonsense.. i am so irritated I agree with you unreservedly. In my little experience there are two components that matter and will either make or break you. OPPORTUNITY and ability , I am of the opinion that OPPORTUNITY exceeds ability . No matter how good you are in fact you can be JJay or Yobo without OPPORTUNITY your exceptional talent will go nowhere and be seen nowhere. Quite often the best players do not always get picked for multifaceted reason of which corruption and conflicting interests are not the least. However, with OPPORTUNITY many unknown unqualified players are birthed, to make it you do not need to be the best just good enough but with OPPORTUNITY you can exceed many players who were much better than you. This is why i truly believe sentiment aside the best and most deserving players should always be invited and the only way to do that is by consistent outstanding top class performances for club and league. And be given clearly JUSTIFIABLE OPPORTUNITY to the SE Solo has been given OPPORTUNITY albeit UNDESERVED do not be surprised that this dude that has been starved of OPPORTUNITY in his determination claims jersey. I for one will not be surprised. |

Just because a player on secondary list is invited because of an injury you are talking nonsense Mine is very simple. Outstanding consistent top class performances in league and club. What has Otabor done to deserve a call up from a tier 4 league like the Bulgarian league, when we have more deserving players in better Leagues?? I laugh when ppl out of ignorance claim that corruption is limited to only African coaches. Hell would let lose if it had been Keshi that made this call Agreed without too many question ❓ ❓ ❓ Why why when a player has been largely anonymous in both the Championship and league one. Decides to go to Bulgaria that tells us something, he lacks quality. Maybe it could be explained with the small matter of his Uncle Thompson Oliha. |

Thanks to counter and nuno tactics This guy it seems is finally getting football brain and finishing. Prior to this game 49 games and 1 goal. Meanwhile this guy is probably the fastest player in the EPL. Today the guy cancelled Raheem o mean he was playing as a RB and beating Raheem. First time I have seen that. This is why the EPL in my opinion is the most competitive and best league in the world. Because anybody can beat anybody. |

Mujtahida: This is why I said I like players whose skills were cooked on the streets and I have decried the aridity of modern football which for me is pass, pass pass. They have educated the flair out of the game. I don't like it but this is what the game has become. That's not true. In Liverpool they brought in a former Brazilian assistant coach of Sao Paulo. To head the development of the U12, because in thier opinion after 12 skill can no longer be natural and first instance. The U12 development is based essentially on how long you can keep the ball and how many Peopleton cam beat with skill trickery and technical ability. So you are wrong. Thay approach is adopted by quite a few academies in the UK.all to different degrees. |
