EEGA:
After Wilfred Ndidi's move from Genk to Leicester, the coach that trained Ndidi in Lagos millitary cantonement from age 13-17 was paid 400,000 euros.

Can we call this fee, developmental fee?

This should put an end to the argument of Amunike being an Egunje coach. undecided
Genk will not pay one penny to any local coach and or individual.

However, what happens the coach will have a registered corporate entity in the name of some football academy. This is the common practice to bypass FIFA rules on fees to individuals.

.

A little bit clear but still need more elaborate explanation.
That's nonsensical.

Before it was made illegal we had TPI and FIFA had stringent requirements you cannot pay any fee to a coach that is employed by a club.

As a football player in a Club you will have literally 10/20 coaches that will input in the development of that player. So each of them will be claiming they developed you 😔 Chei see local reasoning.

No club can legally pay a coach and no cischcan legally demand a development fee.

However the legal entity Agent and or local academy can decide to distribute thr money according to their own non sanctioned FIFA agreement once the money has been paid.

If you like believe this balderdash.

Arsenal is bound by FIFA regulations and will make payment to one authorised entity. How that entity decides to distribute the money is entirely up to them.

Can fifa rules that back it up be quoted, like in the Article A of the FIFA rule............ blah blah.

Finally if there is/are no regulation(s) that back up dat Development Fee, then it is a serious indictment on Amunike and we need him not near the SE

Nigeria politics is a politics of division, hatred and manipulations and is for people who believed so much in cheating and only way out is me and you, nobody else.

Imagine people are still voting for two cancerous parties(APC and PDP)despite the suffering.

While I understand your point, my point is that VO is not someone who will just go there and expect things to just go his way. He is very adaptable and trust me, if he realizes there something he needs to improve for him to become more relevant in his team, he will do it. You can not tell me with the skills and abilities he already possesses, he will not be useful to the team. Less skillful players have played or are playing in Arsenal and heaven has not fallen.

Arsenal don't necessarily have a point man maybe because they don't have anyone who can play that role effectively. Man City were essentially the same way before Haaland came. If Arsenal or PSG decide to go for him, it is because he has what they want. They are not buying him to see and assess if he has what they want. If their scouts and managers say he does, why should we question them for that decision?

By the way, you didn't answer my question. If VO were to leave Napoli at the end of the season, which team do you think would be best for him considering his abilities and skills as you've stated?
Very simple a team that will him the center point of activity a quintessential number 9.

If Kane leaves Bayern as it is rumoured I would say Bayern Munich.

This is a two-way question. There are lot of bonuses and commissions attached to a player's transfer. From what I heard and read, parents do benefit from their son's transfer depending on the negotiation. So if the player's agent decides to add the coach among the beneficiaries of these bonuses and commissions, I don't think it is wrong. In this scenario, I think it's a gift.

However if the team coach engaged in something shady in order to have a share of the transfer fee, that is unethical.
Dude stop 🛑 being naive and using Nigeria corruption morality to.justify what cannot be justified.

You don't have any shame.... see all the energy you're using to criticize a young man who is just trying to earn a living from his sweat. Meanwhile, some of the innit boys that you tried to force down our throat (who you ironically used to boast are better than some of our homegrown players) aren't doing any better for themselves. Ejaria and Josh Onomah for instance are club-less.. Fred Onyedima barely plays at Luton.. Dominic Iorfa is still languishing in the lower division of English football.. If their career gets better now, you will not let us rest with epistle of how you ate akpu and egusi soup with their families and how well you know them..
Hate is an irrational sentiment most times prejudice as well. With regards to yourself your dislike and negative bias have blinded your reasoning and befuddled your brain.

You are having too much bitter leaf 🌿🌿 soup 🍲 with stale fish and contaminated Kpomo. Please change what you are eating, I would recommend Edikang Ikong ( goat 🐐 meat and okporoko) is best, with pounded yam.

Oviemuno Ejaria
Josh Onomah
Fred Onyedinma
Dominic Iorfa

First of all I haven't asked or recommended any of these players above as current prospects for the SE in some cases for over 4 years. So what exactly is your point ❓

When a player is not performing you move on and you look for those who are. You don't hold on to delusional
nostalgic Idea that they are exceptional and very good when they are simply NOT AT ALL.

But what we have here is a continuous haranguing day in day out week after week year after year about Nwakali, exceptional talent, best midfield incredible long ball passing, etc . He is dead on arrival and had been for over 7 years, he hit his peak in youth football ⚽ U17, 8 years ago.

And you are calling me biased, a big black 🖤 pot calling the kettle 🐈‍⬛ black. You are a bigoted hypocrite.

You are shameless , muddying the waters with evasion tactics, irrelevant generalisations and no specifics. Look at the nonsensical proposition you are making in bold. Be specific stop 🛑 ranting like a woman ♀️ scorned.

You responded to my view on Nwakali, so let's make the comparison with Nwakali.

If all these players were in the Portuguese league they would be in the top teams. Not in the cemetery 🪦 of relegation with Chavez FC earnings peanuts 🥜.

You are telling bare faced Lies.

Dominic is playing for Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship 🏆 not in the lower division of English football ⚽. He earns 10 times more than Nwakali.

Fred Onyedinma was sent to revive his injury prone career with Rotherham after 16 game's two goals two assists he is injured again. And back to Luton he is on £20K a week.

Josh Onomah has no club but if he went to the Portuguese league he would be a baller. He has earned over £8 million in wages in his short career so far. With shrewd investment he is still rolling in💷💷💷 without working.

Oviemuno Ejaria had just been too petulant and contentious and has earned himself a bad reputation as a trouble maker. Once again too much money in the bank 🏦 to go and play for peanut in a dead poorly paid league in Europe. If he was in Portugal he would be like Pogba.

So what exactly is Nwakali doing better than these players you mentioned please don't deviate ❓❓

I don't really get the part of your comment in bold. Which team do you think will be best for him? It's not like his team mates are all playing solely for him where he is now, and he is still their most important best player. If anything, PSG or Arsenal will be the best place for him to learn and develop the attributes you say he lacks. I think anywhere he decides to go, he is one person who will put in everything to adapt to whatever is required for him to succeed. We saw as much in Afcon where he was able to adapt and use his other abilities to help his team win.
If you could spend 20 minutes in Arsenal academy you would understand.

Sorry when you spend £100 million on a player he is coming with expectation to hit the ground running and have immediate impact. He is the finished article nothing missing.

He is not coming to learn and develop he is coming as the finished article. All his learning should have been done at the academy in his teens.

While he is learning academy boys will overtake you with your huge price tag and make you incompetent. Ask Pepe how he felt when 16 year old Saka benched him.

You may heard of Nwaneri and Obi ( 16) scored 10 goals against Liverpool in a U16 game.

The Arsenal team plays a game of extreme technical proficiency, with deft seamless player interchange. That is not VO best game if you ask me.

In Napoli he is still the point man the quintessential number 9. His team mates may not always support him but that's the core strategy of Napoli.

Arsenal will ABSOLUTELY not change their strategy and style to suit VO.

Coaches always, especially, if they are actively involved in the development of the players. It comes in the contract from the clubs. 5% of the transfer fee is for development history. It is called Development fee. Kelechi Nwakali's academy put Emmanuel Amunike's name, because he played an active role in the development, to share it with the coaches.

It is very normal.
It's illegal 😮

You are employed as an individual coach and paid a salary, context is the NFF .

If you are coaching in Arsenal, Liverpool, etc or in any professional football team in Europe you are paid to coach PERIOD. My context is Europe 🌎.

The club as a corporate entity NOT THE INDIVIDUAL is entitled to a development fee that's why compensation is paid to clubs when they leave at youth level.

Liverpool paid compensation fee to Chelsea for Solanke and Juventus for Pogba particularly when no contract is in current existence. If there is contract it will be negotiation between club's.

When you have an agent in principle agent is entitled to 5% of transfer fee and player 10% but with negotiationd it can be increased.

I will give you some leeway, Nigeria has a way of doing things making convention from ILLEGALITY. However, what you are describing is totally outlawed by FIFA and therefore ILLEGAL.

I never saw anything wrong in a coach helping the development of players, as long as the players are good quality and the coach is fair. Weaterhof had big say in the transfer of players to the best of my knowledge.

Mourinho played a huge role in the transfer of Carvalho, Bosingwa, Paulo Ferreira to Chelsea
Just as he had a hand in Rui Patricio going to Roma.

As long as the coach is fair. Amunike played a big part in the development of Kelechi Nwakali, he already spotted him two years before the U17. The young man ended up as the best player of the competition.
This is bare faced manipulation shameless fraud and corruption. As well as a breach of trust.

No coach has the right to demand one penny from any players he coached. Amuneke was employed by the NFF and being paid to coach, not extort and exploit and enslave young boys trying to make it in football ⚽.

We have always known that Godfatherism exists in the NFF and wide scale ⚖️ corruption. It means people will be selected not by MERIT but allegiance based on personal financial gain of NFF officials. It's a national shame.

Just constructive criticism. I watched all of Osimhen’s games in his Scudetto winning season and these same issues have been here. The offside awareness is probably the biggest thing he needs to improve. I actually think going to PSG might help him as they have better coaches than Napoli and Enrique is good with getting more out of attacking players.
VO is VO Every player will have his unique attributes and sometimes singular QUALITY.

There is no player I have seen like VO , he plays football ⚽ like a man possessed, he is filled with a blind all consuming rage to win to succeed. He is relentless focused and with blistering pace he is a killer striker. There is nobody like him in the world 🌍 IMO. These attributes cannot be coached, he jumps higher than most, he refuses to be beaten. Life has made him like this not coaching.

Its possible to overcome a stronger and more skillful opponents just with sheer obsessive determination. That for me is VO.

He needs a team to make him the center point of all action. He is not a players filled with trickery, deft touches, finesse, and skill. Like say Benzema and or say Ronaldo.

Will PSG with their collection of world stars look up to VO and play for him . They did not do it for Messi, then they will certainly not do it for VO.

Actually it's the way modern football is evolving.

There was a time we use to have a quintessential playmaker in the No.10. Now the best teams have literally 3 numbers 10 interchanging

Let's look at the three top teams in the EPL for ease of explanation.

Goals 🥅 scored by Arsenal are the same as Manchester city and only two less than Liverpool.

Arsenal are scoring goals from all over the same goes for Liverpool. Manchester city have Haaland but Look who scored two yesterday Foden.

Manchester city play like they have 3/4 number 10's apart from Walker ( speed king) everybody is technically astute the game. The passing wizadry and movement plus first touch astounding.

Liverpool have a similar situation no outstanding quintessential number 9.
