Not good news about Sadiq Umar coming from Super Eagles camp as it was reported that he refused to shake Finidi cos he didn't have playing time during both friendlies.

With what he pulled off during AFCON, he should be careful.

He is a good player, but attitude matters.

I agree with you for the most part save for "football tactics" part. While I do not downplay the importance of football tactics, that sadly isn't the primary problem of most Nigerian coach.

Success is football is 90% Psyche and 10% skill. Average players with the best mental frame and great motivation will beat very skilled players with very little motivation and messed up psyche. Sir Alex Ferguson wasn't known for his tactics as his players have since confirmed. He was however a great motivator. He knew how to get the best out of his players. This was what the Big Boss of blessed Memory Stephen Keshi was known for. Keshi showed immense respect for his players and they respected him in return. He was reported to have motivated his players to play for him and almost always choose players that fit this mold.

The bunch of Nigerian coaches we have today are well learned but too distracted. They have all the UEFA badges, but will allow sentiments, ego etc to destroy their dressing room.
Having a driving licence doesn't make you a great driver or even safe one.

If you're the only one holding on to one side of an argument, then something is wrong with your opinion.
Not necessarily because intelligence is not held with the majority but the minority.

And an argument of ideas, views is not based on democracy of the majority.

In reality an argument that is opinionated is not won by numbers.

When you have an uninformed, ignorant, retrogressive electorate moved by sentiment and prejudice. What type of leaders will they vote for and or allow criminal corruption to foister and impose upon them ❓

Foolishness it is often said rests with the Majority.

Just like our politicians we are obsessed with recycling not improving.

Collins, Awaziem, Omeruo, are not bringing anything new, you want to improve you try something NEW it's very simple.

You have players making waves Tella, Fisayo and you don't play them.

Friendly games should be used to improve not recycle the old ones and rebranding.

Where are the new midfielders we need ❓

Is that the justification for killing our army? Why are some of you guys just make comments for commenting sake? Huh
I didn't know what you mean by our army 🪖

One question ❓ can the army be relied upon to tell the TRUTH ❓

How many innocent 😇 people were killed by OUR ARMY as they went out on a peace mission. A peace mission with 4 senior officers, but no civil society groups, no DSS, No Police, No religious leaders, etc.

Don't you find that strange 😲 or at least questionable, ❓

The army 🪖 left Okuamo after supposedly carrying out a peace ✌🏿 mission. What exactly did their version of peace mission entail ❓🤔

Did they leave the village in Joy and happiness 😊 because that's what peace does.

So why after exacting peace did a group of highly aggrieved militants go AHEAD to wait for them in the swampy water 💦 filled creeks.

There were at least 40/50 fully armed soldiers ( I was going to say well trained) but that's an assumption without substance.

My question ⁉️ is what could make highly aggrieved youthful militants with complete reckless abandon, no fear 😲 no concerns for their own well being put their lives at major risk (near suicide mission) and Decide to exact murderous bloody revenge on , "our army 🪖"

My opinion is we don't know the TRUTH.

Does the Nigerian army have a historic present and continues reputation for wanton killings and destruction of civilians and rural communities❓.

Would you call the Nigerian Army highly disciplined, beyond question where honour and integrity are concerned 🤔❓ Does the Nigerian army have respect for the rule of law ❓Does it have any regards for due process probity and truth.❓❓❓😧

Recap Nigerian army invaded the university of f Benin in the early Hours beating up anyone in sight including security personnel. Over a minor ATM incident they refused to que up.

The NA denied initially ever being anywhere near the Lekki toll gate. Even in one of the busiest me metropolis in the world with tens of thousands of people. Live TV cameras 🎥🎥and a duplicity of thousands of citizens with camera 🤳🏿 phones. A Major General on national TV denied 😯 that the army 🪖 was there.

Several days later the began to SHAMELESSLY change their narrative. Oh they attended but had only blanks bullets, they did not shoot at youths sitting and singing on the road, then only a few people were shot no deaths.

A judicial panel of high standing has proven there was a massacre but not one person from "our army 🪖" has indicted and taken to court.

And you want any sane person to believe the narrative of the our army 🪖 in a remote village mainly accessible by water 🌊.

What actually did the Nigerian Army 🪖 go and do there,❓ that caused this bloody murderous response. Whatever those soldiers did in Okuamo was definitely not 🚫 HONOURABLE

Can I ask you a question. Why are you so obsessed with foreign people ? Like white coaches , foreign born players etc ? These foreign players you are always clamoring for are they better than Nigerian players?

Shouldn't we be pressing the NFF to develop our league? Why is it that you always look for a stop gap solution instead of solving the whole problem?

Don't you think investing and developing our local league will put rest to all these problems with our national teams. Don't you have the ability to think for a second ? You are always here dragging our indigenous talents including coaches and players calling them corrupt as if you will do better if you find yourself in that position. What he needs now is a stable ground to develop his talent not being thrown from one ground to another in the name of loan. That was what nearly destroyed Awoniyi’s talent. When Awoniyi was parading himself as a Liverpool player moving from one loan to another, I wrote to him directly under Oma Akatigba tweet that he needed to leave Liverpool to be counted and Awoniyi himself gave that a thumbs up, next window he severed ties with Liverpool and the rest is history. Omeruo ruined his talent joining Chelsea, same as the Nwakali brothers. You don’t go to England as an untested player. Once you are bought with intention to loan you out, forget it.

If he gets the move and performs on loan in Ligue one definitely he may stand a chance been recalled by chelsea or at worst sold to another top 5 league side in europe where he will continue with his career
Lukaku was outstanding in several EPL clubd but never got a chance in Chelsea.

If I am right he is U18 and he has a huge amount to learn about top level football ⚽. That you will not learn from local football academy in Nigeria.

this is good
Personally I would not say so.

First of all Chelsea arguably have the best academy in England. And have a conveyor belt of top potential top level players.

Secondly, Chelsea are notorious for signing potential talent from abroad and then loaning them out with no intent to play in the first team.

Good example Omeruo, was never good enough for Chelsea and in occasion had the then captain of Nigeria training with the U18 team.

I would have preferred him to go to a team in Belgium, educate develop and then hopefully progress into first team football.

Big clubs have cut short many a promising players trajectory.

Strasbourg is speculation not guaranteed first team football ⚽. I am assuming he is U18.

In all honesty I've never heard of that tournament, l dont even know where it is.

All youth tournament I've attended are overwhelmingly with the top clubs of Europe.

It's not irrational, in top academies you have boys who started training at age 5/6 with top facilities and quality coaches. These boys by 13 are training and playing games 5 days a week. That is intensive training against the best players in your region locality.

It's very difficult albeit not impossible for players to meet that standard individually and collectively outside of the top level academy setting.

Viareggio cup tournament is popular and young players used it as a stepping stones with agents in attendance looking for promising players,Ebenezer Akinsanmiro of Inter Milan was discovered in the tournament.Last year my brother took some boys to the tournament through Mavlon fc…..yes Ojodu fc was defeated by eventual winner Beyond Academy in the semi final.
That sounds very promising.

Is the tournament in Italy or is it in one of the Nordic countries ?

Most of youth in fact all the youth tournaments I've attended have been with first tier l league clubs in Europe.

I once met Marcelo at one when he came to watch his son playing with Real Madrid.

For a lot clubs and scouts it's at these tournaments the next generation of top players will be revealed. In addition when Manchester city is okay against say PSG it's indicative of top level performances.

The PSG boys in defence were like giants I suspect they are from the Wolof tribes in Senegal and Mali. I guess with better nutrition, health care and coaching and training facilities they grow like bamboo 🎍 stick.

Use your brain.

First, if the military had struck first as you alleged, it is a community with leaders, they would have raised and it would have been reported in the social media cos govt can not control social media.

It is most likely because of bunkering which most of these traditional rulers give backing to.
Your must be secondary school youth .

You are a small boy with little understanding.

Bunkering has always gone on with the direct participation of the military many senior officers have become billionaires through it.

Tompolo is master bunkerer all things go through him. This warlord militant has soldiers under his command effectively and they are the core Jagaban in the area.

No community youth will attack the army without the most murderous provocation. The NA has a proven and substantiated present and historical record of wanton destruction and killing of innocent civilians.

They think they are above the law , this had been going on for decades until the people armed themselves, and militancy was born it's only in hibernation. That brought mutual respect and restraint the NA have forgotten it seems.

This case is more of the NA doing the bidding of Tompolo in a local community dispute. And wiping out community leaders thinking that will stop the people and the dispute.

Let me quote my previous post.

In matters like this you should have police and DSS independent of the army investigating. The NA is not trained to investigate crime and they have too many conflicts of interest in this matter and can never be impartial. They would most likely bury and destroy any evidence of NA culpability.

Who has ever heard of a high powered peace ✌🏿 mission ( Leftenant Col. Two majors) no police, no DSS, no civil groups, no external traditional rulers, no religious leaders, JUST THE ARMY 🪖 somebody is telling LIES and trying to bury the TRUTH

SCORENigeria has gathered from several top officials that the NFF are now open to hire a coach who they will pay $80,000 every month.

Jose Peseiro was on $50,000 monthly when his contract ran out after the recent AFCON.

It was a reduced package after his initial contract paid him $70,000 a month.

It is widely believed that the Portuguese coach did not continue on the post because he demanded for a new monthly pay of $120,000 with his employers’ best offer stopping at $80,000.

It is that figure the NFF will be ready to pay the next coach of the country’s team.

SCORENigeria first reported that as many as 40 foreign coaches have applied for the Super Eagles job.

It is understood that the NFF will decide on a new Super Eagles coach by the end of this month.

This will allow the new man enough time to prepare for crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin in June.
I wonder 🤔 how much % cut will be paid to the powers that be ❓

Illiterate uncouth bushman.

Nobody will act senselessly, he didn't even establish what led to those events. Nobody in Nigeria without any reason will wake up in the morning and start killing soldiers. Nobody is plain insane and mad.

The question ❓ is what happened.

First proviso, is we CANNOT in any shape or form considere the explanation of the NA as true record of events.

Now look at psychology of the average Nigerian soldier. He thinks 🤔 he is above the law and nobody can challenge him irrespective of if he is right or wrong or operating unlawfully.

Is it normal without any form of provocation for Nigerian army soldiers to open fire and kill defenceless citizens ❓. My response if not normal then highly probable. History 😭 painfully tells us this to be TRUE.

Nigerian army 🪖 soldiers like deranged animals can visit murderous wanton destruction and killing without provocation. They act like demigods , unfortunately the citizens consider it to be normal and acceptable.

So then what happened ❓ what do we know .

They attended a peace meeting in that community town hall. They were given the utmost respect and welcomed with kola and drinks by the elders.

Then what happened 😕, what did they do🤔

Now tracking the movement of this large group of soldiers who in their numbers armed heavily, would feel impregnable. In addition any actions taken unquestionable ,might is right 👍🏿.

Why would a group of assumed youthful local militants in hot pursuit of this large contingent of soldiers . Feel so painfully heart wrenchingly aggrieved to seek murderous bloody revenge

This act would be close to a suicide mission they put their own lives on the line to exact revenge for what ❓❓❓.

The NA has too many questions to answer but it's all going to be white washed and a nonsensical narrative totally unsubstantiated presented to us . Because just like our politicians the NA think they are above the law and the citizen are fools to be trodden upon.

Finally, ode Mae Oghene Kome, I be undiluted Uhrobo man.
