Goke7: and 7 years to you is still a sprint? what a contradiction! At this point, it's obvious to everyone that you're confused. The more you talk about this player the more you're confirming his exceptionalism. English is just your problem. You're expecting him to be Methuselah before he can convince you he's world-class. Kotinu Context is a good word it helps you to comprehend. The phrase, " You said, so quickly it's taken him" And I am saying essentially it was not a a sprint for him 😔 but in his case a relentless, blood sweat and tears of painstaking hard work and singular determination, the mental resilience astounding. To get to where he is among the top performers in football. However, if I was to compare VO to say Haaland and Mbappe they literally sprinted to become world 🌎 class. You still don't appreciate my perspective, which is very simple, CONSISTENTLY BEING AT THE VERY TOP over a period not just one season to be world 🌍 class IMO. You don't have to agree with me. |

He isn't just confused... he must be doing weed, cus it doesn't make sense for a grown up adult with such exposure as his to use different metrics, criteria, theory and condition on different players just because he prefers the English born players... There is an English word used to qualify words and statements it's called CONTEXT use it. |

There waa a time he used to rubbish the Turkish league especially when we used to call up players from there, but the moment one of his innit boys, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru moved there, he stopped criticizing the league and clamoured for Bashiru's invitation.. ironically, he bragged that Bashiru was headed to AC Milan until they guy carry am handicap anf ended up in Turkey It is generally low level league 😕 I haven't changed. However, there are some outstanding players there, very simple. Stating the facts is not bragging, Fisayo playing for league one Sheffield Wednesday refused to renew his contract and generated bids not just interest from Championship, EPL and other clubs from Europe. He settled for the money 🤑 and went to Turkey, in that poor league he is still generating interest. I wonder why 🧐 |

Goke7: Osi came at a time most have given up we will ever have a Nigerian player up there again. it looks too unbelievable to many that such a player could rise to the ranks so quickly. I mean it was looking as if No Nigerian could never win APOTY again, that's how we have fallen so badly even within Africa, even at Lille, the guy was delivering and he continued in Italy, which European league will he not excel in, and yet someone thinks he's not world-class. Some people have problem o, they say seeing is believing but in Osi matter, the player may need to die and resurrect before they can believe. You are being too fanatical and loosing all sense of rationality in an emotive roller 🎢 coaster. When I call Mbappe world class it's because he has been top of the scoring charts in the French league for the past 5 years plus that's astounding consistency in addition he does it for France in every competition. Essentially VO has had one break out season where he got the golden boot, absolutely fabulous. Does it make him world 🌎 class to me No, but Yes on the journey to getting being world class. He had two good seasons at Seria A not exceptional, he had another good season in French league and a good one in Belgium league. You said so quickly it's taken him , I would not say that. My view it's taken him almost 7 years to get to this level, throughout sheer hard work relentless determination and through injury as well. That level being highest goal scorer in Seria A last season. Football ⚽ is a marathon not just a sprint. Remaining at the top is even harder than getting there. |

IGHALO is very good but world class a resounding big capital NO. Your blind prejudice makes you leap before you look 👀👀 I have been intrinsically clear with what I describe as world class. Kane had been a top goal scorer in the EPL for near a decade, winning the golden boot on three occasions. He then leaves the Tottenham in the EPL and he goes to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. Danielnino00: Osimhen at club level has 107 goals and 27 assists in 211 games in addition to having a Serie A title, Serie A golden boot and Serie A player of the year under his belt..... If that isn't enough for you to label him world class, then you're just hating.. bad belle, full stop! Go and get a bottle of coke 🍾with a smile , you are getting agitated and all fired up with rage 😡😡. But why 🤔 It really depends on what unit of measurement will you use to decide world class. For me it's one word CONSISTENCY over time. When I say Kane, Lewondoski, Mbappe, Ronaldo, Haaland, Salah, Messi, Lukaku, are WORLD 🌎 CLASS what you will notice is CONSISTENCY. These players have been at the top of the goal scoring charts for some over a decade. VO is an absolute excellent player in what he does with a unique skill set. However, last season 2022/23 after three seasons in Seria A he was the golden boot winner. He did not do that in the Belgium, Bundesliga and French league one. Now that he has achieved this outstanding accolade the real test is to do it again or at least stay in the top 5. To prove the consistency of world class top quality,it has to be done , in this season and the coming seasons. Without prejudice I would not call him world 🌎 class yet. He is getting there but has not arrived. Unfortunately this season if he can get to the top 5 that would be outstanding to prove he is truly world class. Would you call call Martinez, Dusan Vlahovic, Giroud world class ❓

Now I'm curious about who said it died. Make i brock Lesnar the person. The art of dribbling has become more intelligent and much more end 🔚 product centred as well as strategic. When I look at Manchester City it's like looking at a team with several highly skilled number 10's ,there is continuous interchange of positions and formations. Albeit with greater emphasis on number 9 depending on the circumstances, they change with the game and opponents. So we even noticed the traditional number 9 quintessential striker is no longer central to some teams and or the numbers 9️⃣ adapts to changes and strategy making him very fluid. I see this in Arsenal and Liverpool. The art of dribbling has not died it just got BETTER.

Now you don't have a player jollification to the crowd when a team mate is in a clear position to score.
As for the 10 role, now we have the 10s contributing more offensively. Look at City with Alvarez, Grealish, De Bruyne, Foden, and Bernardo Silva. These are all 10s but in today's game, they work offensively than seating deep for praises. Why doesn't it make sense to you❓ Both are midfielders and football ⚽ is not played inside a "straight jacket" complete footballers are versatile and adaptable. As a consequence a complete midfielder will play a variety of roles as the manager deems fit. One game your DM another you are AM and another you are CM. Iwobi has quite often played as a RW but he is some would say essentially AM/CM. For instance, l ABSOLUTELY believe Aina could play a number of roles midfield, simply because he is complete footballer IMO. Below screen shots of Anguissa and Iwobi in Fulham the context of the discourse, showing both players playing essentially the same role.
