Kweenkiks:
Hi friends,

I was at the US embassy Abuja on Monday 9th Sept.
It happened that I was asked to reschedule because my agent made an error on a barcode. The barcode was the appointment confirmation was different from what I had on my DS-160 form.

Hence, I was asked to reschedule. Unfortunately, I asked my agent to stop since he's made a lot of damage and I decided to continue myself.

My question is, how do I reschedule the appointment?
Is there going to be an reschedule portion for me to continue or I'll start the process again like I'm trying to restart all over and then pick a new date?

The thing is, I logged in, started all over again, picked an available date underneath what the appointment date I had there before. I was told my Visa payment receipt would remain the same.

I'm confused. Please help me
If it'll require anyone who understands this better would like to call me. I can drop my number.

Thanks

In this forum and elsewhere, you have been told never use AGENTS for any USA visa. DIY Do It Yourself is the surest way the information will be consistent with what is submitted. An innocent mistake is easily corrected. That is unless you have something sinister to hide

I love your spirit brother. Just keep making the equiry, I believe you will get an info soon that will aid your travel plan to Japan. I notice you keep asking the same question right from when I started studying this thread (from page 1) to get info on document needed to travel to Japan as a student. I'm sorry I don't have much information regarding traveling to Japan for business as I'm a student. I only leveraged on vital info given by Moonraker et. al. and thank God, they were helpful.

@ Blackbriar, Oluwaleokey, Komia, Moonraker, davodguy, peacefull, notable fellows/silent follower of Niaraland in Japan, lets help this bros with tangible info about auto spare-part business in Japan. Your comment can help him navigate his way through.

Thank you!

You must get an invitation letter from a Japanese company which you hope to partner with in order to facilitate a Business visa . Depending on the nature of the company you run and annual turnover. Note; its not about your qualifications. Its how genuine you are. Have you ever had a business relationship with Japanese companies?
Remember as a Nigerian you’re always guilty. If i were you and genuinely in business, I would make contacts with Japanese companies or suppliers, do business and eventually they will recommend you vist them to strengthen the bond. Otherwise just visiting Japan without any prior plans not advisable.

Japan unlike many other western countries is hard to survive without proper and legal visa status.
As an island They lack land borders. Few foreigners and negligible people like you. Honestly you stand out. No employer will take you without legitimate papers. Due to police officers being idle, I can bet my head you will not go far. Language too.
Please don’t ever think of illegally entering the country especially being a black Nigerian.
The best way is get a school including language school (2 years). Be admitted. While in school get a Japanese lady , marry and get spouse visa. Trust me If you are focused, hardworker, polite while avoiding quick money schemes mentality associated with Nigerians, you will be having permanent residency in 3-4 years or nationality within 5 years.
A Nigerian woman options are limited. They can hardly get a partner to marry them- sorry but I have to share the truth gathered over 16 years here.

Make a reservation online, then submit with your visa application documents. Reserve a few days to your visa application date. Don’t buy before getting your visa.

Trainee visa General Requirements

The technology, skills, or knowledge that the Applicant intends to obtain in Japan should not be of a type obtained mostly through the repetition of simple work.

The Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.

It should be expected that the Applicant will apply the technology, skills, or knowledge obtained in Japan after returning to her country.

The technology, skills, or knowledge the Applicant intends to obtain in Japan must be difficult or impossible to obtain in the region where he resides.

A recruitment agency facilitates the process by introducing potential applicants to the host training company. I tried checking out on such an agent specifically for Nigerians but honestly I couldn’t. Agents I did approach seems reluctant. I will on the coming days approach one of those trainees for first hand insights.

Alright Sir! We will wait even beyond Monday or anytime you're able to get relevant info that could be of help. I learnt Japanese don't really mix with people of other race and there are very few blacks in the country. Are they receptive to blacks and could you share your experience about the country when you arrived?

Foreigners in Japan make a insignificant less than 2%. Blacks even among foreigners are negligible. Africans among blacks shared. Majority of those Africans are students. The blacks like me residing permanently here is countable.
Majority of japanese people have never interacted with foreigners. The information is from mass media which unfortunately hardly report positives. So creating an innocent overall prejudice. But when you deal with individuals one to one, they are the greatest people you will ever live among.

which programming skills/niche are in high demand in Japan sir?

Do they easily hire foreigners?

I’m not that or related field. However the friends talk highly of IT sector although long working hours and top notch competition is real.

Hiring foreigners really depends. But if you’re a hardworking upright person with a Japanese university education you should be good b

You guys will have all necessary information by Monday 5th. Meanwhile ask any questions related to Japan. I will definitely try to answer or forward to relevant people.
