This is our best option for now. DO THE RIGHT THING.

lawnreigh: I am convinced that core Igbos of the SE are NOT interested in the VP position. What we want is the presidency. So Ifeanyi Okowa is the closest to an Igbo VP that Atiku can get. In any case better than Wike, who is also Igbo(extended) 1 Like |

Uteghe: A clear cut proof of what Igbos are capable of doing. When appointments and posts are given on merit, Igbos come out on top. Ahmadu Bello will be shouting "I told you so"in his grave now. An Igbo president should be given the chance to move Nigeria forward. The country needs an Igbo approach. |

If Obi can pick a well known and reliable northerner as VP, he can put up a good fight. He needs the spend heavily on campaign and publicity. Get a norther to speak to his people in their language. Nigeria is ready for a formidable 3rd party. 2 Likes |

There should be no mention of Wike's name in the search for a VP. He is totally unqualified. Must the VP be an ex-governor?. There are more capable Igbo candidates for the post. Since Peter Obi has left, better pick Anyim Pius Anyim or some other mpre qualified person. What about Oby Ezekwesili, Bath Nnaji or Frank Nweke jnr. Stay away from Wike. Okowa is SS. PS: If Ngozi Okonji Iweala is interested, the no need to search anymore. Make her the VP. However, i doubt if she would be interested in it. 2 Likes |

tolue42: Who told you it's without the contribution of SE states? He actually won because of the SE votes he bought in dollars. SE delegates do not care about APC, so their votes will surely go to the highest bidder. If Ogbonnaya Onu got 1 vote, Rochas 0, and Mokelu 0 votes, that means the SE delegates voted for Tinubu after settlement. Most APC chairmen in SE are struggling young men. Don't forget it's 3 delegates from each LGA. Nigerian politics is rotten to the bone. For example, an APC delegate from Enugu North or Nkanu East and West LGA does not give a rats azz about the APC. He is only interested in who pays him more. $10k is even enough. |

No Nigerian 50 years and under will return such an amount. We're talking dollar here not Naira. 'Ego Igwe'. Besides the real owner of the money is dead. Na to check see wether de family get more thing to sell. 1 Like |

OUK is masking his chuckle and glee over Tinubu winning. He is confident he will not win in the general election. His ambition will cost the APC the presidency come 2023 and OUK does not care. Tinubu will not even sweep the SW votes given the huge number of other Nigerians that live and vote in SW states. |

6sco: Yes. He paid very well. A breakdown of the result tells you that Tinubu paid the delegates heavily. Except for the 38 votes that went to Umahi, all the SE APC delegates voted for Tinubu. I know the APC chairman in Enugu state. Ugo has definitely cashed out. The other Igbo candidates got Zero and 1 vote. Even Rochas. Nigerian politics is still very much 'Cash and Carry' .We have a looong way to go. |

Flier: You have no idea. You are not well informed. It all depends on who Atiku picks as VP. Besides, Igbos don't vote sheepishly like Hausas and Yorubas. With a core Igbo VP, Atiku is our next president. He can match Tinubu times 2 in everything. Don't forget that he has been trying to be president just after OBJ left. I mean actively trying way more than Tinubu. He can smell it now with Tinubu as the likely opponent. Atiku will go for the 'kill'. THIS IS HIS LAST CHANCE. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Honor10: A former governor?!. You really know nothing about Nigeria politics. All what is happening now is clearing the way for an Atiku presidency. Which does not make me happy anyway. But, that's the reality. 2 Likes |

9jahotblog: You would be naive if you think she paid the N100m from her pocket. Her role was to make it all-inclusive for BAT. |

Still part of Tinubu's master plan. I am curious if Osinbajo will step down too. Won't be surprised if he does. 1 Like |

Balogunodua: If Tinubu emerges as the APC candidate, APC can forget about getting even 2%of votes from NE, SS and SE. Not with Atiku as the PDP candidate and the feeling of injustice felt in the SE. Even APC stalwarts will pump in enough money to make sure Tinubu does not become president. OUK and Rochas in my mind. |

truthfinder319: There might be a merger between Kwankwanso and Obi. I see it happening. For those of you doing the calculation, i have a question. If NE, SE, and SS vote PDP en bloc, will APC still win. NC will be divided. 1 Like |

All these "stepdowns"are part of Tinubu's strategy. He probably paid for their forms. People like Dimeji Bankole and this Badaru has no business being in the race. It's all part of BAT's master plan. |

Tinubu may clinch the ticket from all indications. The influence of the Northern governors will work in his favour. I personally don't have a problem with that. The big question is will he defeat Atiku in the general election, or have we forgetten about that?. I just want Nigeria to aggresively move forward in terms of development. In that case Tinubu may be my prefered candidate. He wants to be president for a good reason. I don't think he needs the money anymore. Same goes for Atiku. But, BAT is more intelligent. They've both learned fro the mistakes of IBB. |

mach7: ''Free and fair' is different from a 'Gang Up' . Consensus means in essence a gang up against a favourite candidate. There is nothing "Free and Fair"in that. Hope you gerrit. |

When is the damned primar taking place anyway?. We need to move on to other pressing issues. People are dying of hunger due to rising prices. The economy is in shambles. |

They are cooking something we don't know. And i don't think it's Tinubu. I think there is a surprise candidate in the making. There's a reason Buhari is not disclosing a name publicly. |

ecoco2014: None of the above. His VP should come from core igbo states. But not Okezie Ikpeazu. Let him ask Ohaneze ndi Igbo to supply him a short list. 6 Likes |

Unruffledgrace: Nothing to do with being "Wiser". They have a numerical advantage and are more united. Even if all Southern delegates vote for a Southern candidate, the North will still win if they vote en bloc. |

It was expected. He should his VP wisely. I heard he was consulting with Ike Ekweremadu, Ifeanyi Okowa and one other person. Anyim pius should be considered too. 2 Likes |

No matter how much they sell it after the initial launch, 6 months after the price go drop. So if you don't need it urgently, just wait. Knowing Elon Musk, the price no go pass N5,000 a month in Nigeria. Eventually. 2 Likes |

"It also affected the number of delegates as statutory or super delegates made up of elected officials at all levels will not take part. Thus, only national delegates from the 774 local councils, six area councils in Abuja and 10 others will take part as delegates in today’s exercise." This is straight Cash and Carry. Some of these delegates from remote local councils have never seen $1,000 before. Atiku ans Saraki has the best chance thus. Unless Wike is willing to spray Rivers state money. PDP has zero chance if Wike wins the primaries. I'm sure they know that. |

Goodluck Jonathan should respect himself and decline any offer from the cabal. He should remain an elder statesman. Besides, Tinubu is way better than him when it comes to running the economy of the country. We should not be moving backwards. It's becoming obvious that the best people for the job will not be getting the job. ALL SELFISH INTERESTS. 2 Likes |

I thought NNPP is part of the "3rd Force" being formed. Their best option is to merge all other parties and make Peter Obi the presidential candidate with Kwakwanso as his vice. Nigeria needs a radical change from the status quo. Falana for Attorney general and minister of justice and Pat Utomi as finance minister. I see this moving forward. |

This statement is enough for him to lose woefully in a more civilized and educated country. But those northerners vote like 'Maluu'. He will win if nominated. |
