Since the vote will be determined by Senators and members of Rep from the North, SE, SS and the rest of Nigeria, the wish of the indigenes is as good as in the bag.

Every other part of Nigeria wants Lagos to stand alone. Indigenous Lagosians should be able to govern the state.
When and if regions are created, LAGOS and ABUJA will be given a special stand-alone status.

With the crippling housing shortage in Lagos, the state govt should stop demolishing houses. In Mende, i saw newly build, strong bungalows being demolished. That is wrong. Let them pay heavy fines to be used for diversion of channels and stop new houses from being built.
