Is nigeria @ germany's level in terms of global power? Let obama get assasinated during a visit to Germany! And see what will happen!

Go and read about world war 1. Read about Rwanda. Enlighten yourself.
Taaaaa!

Drawing from the stupid analogy of your stupid friend (OP), John F Kennedy was from Massachusetts and assassinated in Texas in 1963, why didn't USA armed forces wipe out the entire Texas? If you answer that question correctly, I'll pay you more attention.

mohince:
If Buhari visits Ogoniland today and an attempt is made on his life, two things are bound to happen and both leads to only one end. One is to take him out using snipers or whatever and then what? The army will wipe the entire Southeast and South South off the surface of the earth. The army, Air force, Navy and all other security forces will be given a 'shoot at sight order' to keep shelling the entire region until nothing moves again, yes, nothing. The other is to make an attempt on his life and he escapes the assassination plot; either ways, the security agents will still kill everyone and everything. So, who wins?
No matter how it plays out, the northerners will immediately commence ethnic Cleansing against the Millions of southerners in the North and the Southerners will also annihilate the Few northerners in the South and a full scale war that is worse than the Biafra or bokoHaram war will begin. Every ethnic group will take up arm against the other and continue to kill one another till the whole country is littered with corpses. Then the international community will wade into the crisis in the name of quelling the fight and take our oil and lands away from us. Then another round of Colonialization will begin in full gear and the few ones that are lucky to be alive will become slaves to the West. Biafra is lost and One Nigeria is also lost. So, who wins?
Then 60 years from now, one of the few lucky survivors of the war will author a book with the title: 'There was a country' or 'Buhari's visit to Ogoniland: The beginning of the end of Nigeria'; or something like that. Again, who wins?
But after a deep thought, I told myself that Buhari was right to cancel his visit and take the Shame that comes with it. He has clearly demonstrated a rare statesmanship that is worthy of emulation. The Buhari that I know is not worried about his life; he fought in the Biafra war 49 years ago. He is a war General who has seen death on several occasions. He is only concerned about the millions of life that will be wasted because of him as well as the aftermath effect of such bloody situation on the over 170million lives of fellow Nigerians.
Thank you baba for saving our lives. You have just earned yourself the title of 'The father of a new Nigeria! Shame on you Wailers!
God bless Nigeria
God bless President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR!
Wait a minute, did you actually sit down and type this or you did so at gunpoint? So if Buhari travels to WEST GERMANY (according to him) and gets assassinated there, the whole WEST GERMANY will be wiped out? Even at gunpoint you had a clear option to die and save out whole generation this mumurity of yours. Gosh!!!!

APC, in their desperate bid to grab power, made so many unrealistic promises. Just like a man will promise a woman Ferrari and private jet when making love, only to regain his senses when he releases. Even if they are going to fulfill this one, all states must benefit equally.

Come to think of it; if it's okay for Fashola to depot many Igbos from Lagos to Onitsha in the name of "reuniting them with their families" (as if they were lost in the first place), do we not have a moral burden to criticize the British government for deporting Nigerians who do not have genuine travel papers? At least these 500 will replace the ones deported to Onitsha. Incidentally most of the deportees are Fashola's kinsmen, they have an opportunity to reunite with their ANCESTORS.

Culture / Re: Why It Is Offensive To Give/Receive With Your Left Hand? by konjivity: 8:45am On Nov 25, 2015
Whether we like it or not, it's our culture to use right hand to give and receive. There's no myth or superstition attached to it. If you are a southpaw however, you are free to use your left hand to do things for yourself - eat, write etc. But when giving or receiving, it won't hurt you to use your right hand. I have a cousin who doesn't believe in the culture of using the right hand. One day, while trying to exchange handshakes, I offered him my left hand. He was bemused and asked why it had to be with left hand, and I said to him: does it have to be with right hand? He got the drift!

Some posters seem to ignore the fact that Mikel has been accused of only being part of Chelsea's woes. I couldnt agree more. Anytime Mikel is called off his comfort zone (the bench now fitted with belt) he doesnt play with confidence and creativity. He passes the ball sooner, as if to shift the burden to the next player.

Crime / Re: Is This A New Style Police Use To Get Money Now? by konjivity: 2:32pm On Oct 21, 2015
A lot of motorists have had different bitter experiences with some criminal elements in the Nigeria Police. The other day when a private car I was in, dropped off a passenger at a bus stop and a police man opened the front door and asked the driver nicely if he could give him a lift. Hear what the driver said: "Abeg close my door before thunder go fire you!" He said it so explosively and you could see the rage in his eyes. The policeman melted away in embarrassment, as the driver screeched away, not saying a word till I got to my bus stop and alighted. Only he knows what the grouse is.

Great job @OP. The only sessions I thoroughly enjoyed were those involving Kachukwu and the Hajiya from Bauchi, and maybe one or two others. Very brilliant and articulate defence. The rest of them, particularly Fashola, tried so hard like a secondary school student in a debate trying outdo his peers.
