A Kano based Igbo millionaire, Chief Christian Awagi has miraculously escaped from the hands of his abductors who seized in him in Kano last Tuesday at his residence.

Awagi, popularly known in Kano social circles as Awako was reported to have regained his freedom when the vehicle he was being ferried to an unknown destination crashed on an electric pole outside the city.

A seventy-years old woman, (names withheld) has been arrested in Numan Adamawa State by the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA for been in possession of weeds suspected to be Indian Hemp.

Parading the suspects before Newsmen in Yola Thursday, Adamawa State Commander of the NDLEA, Malam Hassan Zungeru announced that the duo were arrested in the house of Dantshoho’s mother with 99 bags of the substance.

The Commander disclosed that the weeds weighing 793.5kg were concealed in a warehouse at the family House of Dantshoho.
