pls house, which of the banks in Nigeria can one buy bank draft in canadian dollar cos i have been to some banks now and they do not offer such.

pls kindly let me know cos that is the only thing delaying my application now.

Sending money out of Nigeria to other Countries has always been a problem. except it has to be wired (ie using swift). the other day i was trying to pay for some goods using Western Union Money transfer, i treid all the Bank in Lagos to no avail. I think the best way out is to use a credit card.

pls anybody that have a good and sincere maens of paying the fee should help.

Are you Sure the Venue of the Test in Lagos is in Queens College? Becos the Queens college that i Know is in Onike Yaba and not in Adeyemo Alakija. But Kings College is in Adeyemo Alakija VI pls be more specific.
I also heard that they misplaced peoples Number so all the people that Apply can attend the Test,

Ya about 85K (150 CAD) which is the initial payment for application. I prefer only me first then if i suceed other people will follow

@ kool from the cic website u are only sending 4 application forms and your application fee that check list is not going to novo scotia its going to ghana after u have been replied from novo scotia with your file number .

hercules u paid through a lawyer right , cause i am still  looking @  how i can go round dat payment thing . I also got a mail from a friend some minutes ago that i should send the application without payment and see what dey would say dat he sent his own without the application fee.

How do you intend to send the application package without the processing fee? procesing fee is part of the items listed on the checklisk. but come to think of it, is it true that one can get his money back if his Visa is not approved?

No, I paid physically in Accra, at times I did wire transfer ( for the DNA stuff)

Is it possible to process the Visa @ Ghana cos i read from their site (www.cic.gc.ca) that the application can only be sent to Citizenship & Immigration Canada in Sydney canada either through post or courier. i'm not aware that i can also be done through Ghana.

The 2M may seem to be a small money, but with 2M you can start a better business and leave happily in Nigeria. But wen you travel out, You will be treated as a second citizen over there, i have contact with white men on a daily basis and i know how they treat the black people.

I can be persistent sha, you will fill in the amount in the forms, they also have have the amount required on their website. Going to Canada can be for you to enlighten yourself, update your qualifications, get their pali and come back to naija.

@ hercules07, i must say you have realy tried. its good to go over there for upgrade of certificate and get enlighten but if one have a good job i Nigeria i think it's better to stay i your own country and enjoy all the freedom.

This processing thing seems to be very hectic, The Problem is how do i ensure that all my simblings, dad & Mum have a passport cos they are all busy going about their various businesses.

Come to think of It, if I have up to 2M in my account, why do i need to trave?,

well mi i dont have any lawyer , na God i get and friends from dat have gone , so i ask naira land and still confrim from my friends dat have gone . all the people dat went dint use a rep. As per d accounts stuff one of my friend says they call the bank to confirm if the account is functioning ( dey dont ask how much is there oo)

@ Ajison, can you pls confirm that they will not have to verify the amount in the account?, only to confirm that the account is functioning

This tread is getting hot every day.

During our SS3 days my friend and i were prefect. One day my frnd who was a social prefect took one SS1 girl to one abandon building (Known as school 2 SKII) as they were romancing, some guys who went there for gambling caught them and raised alarm. My friend denied but the girl confessed, both of them were summoned to the assembly ground and my friend was removed from prefect and both of them were suspended for two weeks. infact i was so ashamed because we were birds of the same feather. When i asked my frnd why he did such thing he told me he has not even started doing the KOKO before he was caught. We still talk on phone till date and whenever i remind him of that event, we just keep laughing.

Also remembered when i was in JSS3, we had an Introtech Teacher who was very wicked. So one day the man asked one girl (Surname OSHODI OKE other name withheld) to meet him in one hotel close to our sch. (i can’t blame the man because d girl YANSH was very tempting).
So the girl told some guys in our class and they advised her to go. When they were inside the hotel, more than 20 male students attacked the Teacher and gave him the beating of his life. infact come and see teacher running with only Boxer. That was the end of the WICKED teacher in that school while the girl got suspended for two weeks and later left the school.

This is a serious issued that needs to be addressed, but my perspective i think this issue can never and i repeat can never be address, because this is what has been in existence,

Mhen this tread is so funny, cos when i looked back at all the crazy things i did when i was a kid, i can only thank God that i'm still alive till today.

1. when i was in the Nursery sch, there was this girl in my compound that we go to sch together. one day she aksed me to steal one of the student food money for her and i did. she kept the coin in her pant. just before break time, the girl started looking for her money and the teacher was alerted, she checked every body's pocket but did no see it and decided to check every student pant and found it in the girl's pant. Who confess that i was the one that stole it for her. I as placed on a stool in the front of all the pupils and given the beaten of my life. when i got home and pulled my cloths my mother saw the mark and asked wat has happend i told her the teacher beat me, she was very furious and followed me to sch the next day. the teacher told her every thing that has happend and i was given round two of the beating.

2. while in primary sch there was this boy in my class that have apple tree in their compound. he usually broght some to sch but we were not satisfied and decided to follow him to their house to pluck the Apple. when we got there we all climb the tree and started plucking unfortunately their landlord who happen to be the owner of the apple came out and saw us on the tree. immediately, i jumped down and ran away without my sch bag. The man caught all the other boys and gave the the beating of their life.
When they ere released, i waited for them at the bustop and was laughing at them (not knowing that my own will be the worse). when they came and told me that the man has taken my bag and promised to bring to bring it to sch the next day, i tought it was a joke i checked all their bag but did not see it. i decided to go back for my own share of the cane but unfortunately, the man has gone to church cos he was a Jehova Witness.
When i got home i was able to hide it from my mum. But the next day i decided not to go to sch cos i know wat i will face at sch but my mum forced me to go. so i went to sch on getting there, while on the assembly ground the man came to sch with my bag and narated the story to the head mistress, infact i will neva forget wat happen dat day cos all most three teachers KOBOKOLISED me.

3. while i JSS class i almost lost my life. My sch was one of the local sch with so many holse on the fence we can easily run home through one of the holes in the fence. so one day as usual, me and three of my friends left the sch and went hunting for Rabits cos our school was close to the farm settlement were they have different vegetable farm. on gething to the farm we started hitting the bush with sticks so that the rat could run out and we can make a chase. in the process i saw one big hole, i taught it was one of the hole you can easily jumped into and jump out. so i was planning to jump into it and jump out as usual but luckily for me, one of my friend alerted us of a rabit so we decided to chase the rabit. i later came back to the hole and discovered it was a very DEEP WELL used by the farmers to water their vegetable. immediately i ran home and  i was shaking cos it was a narrow escape.
