Nigerians have been losing jobs and gaining jobs since 1980, just like any other country in the world.

You know how many companies have been shut in the last 20years in Nigeria? People will still live. There are no jobs.

With considerable certainty, what kept the bank soaring in profit was solely illegal monies kept and used for transactions in the bank. Nigerian banks made a lot profit trading with government revenues and unclaimed funds in banks during PDP era.

Dozie jnr was just unlucky to be swept by government policy, especially the implementation of TSA, which saw these monies being swept away from banks. I doubt if Dozie Snr would have succeeded. We all know how these banks in Nigeria operates. Even the so called wealthy Nigerians couldn't service their loans held with banks. AMCON was forced to published their names.

If you check well, most of the Nigerian banks are struggling to stay alive. A lot more are predicted to be merged and or acquired.

We truly experienced change. For the first time, the govt stepped on toes and did things differently for common goods.

One funny law has just recently been made in my office to the effect that, all your casual leave will be deducted from your annual leave, now the impression i have gathered about the casual leave issue is that the Nigerian Labour Law states that you are entitled to five days of casual leave exclusive of your leave in a year.

Does anyone out there have an idea of what the law states on what the general standard should be about issues like this, as i would really like to take this up with the overzealous hr in my office always trying to impresss the whiteys with so called "innovation"

Casual leaves are not 'Rights' of employees, they are awarded based on management discretion. You must earn it. Annual leaves are employees' 'Right', who have served for 13th months minimum.

The Nigerian Women's Welfare Agency (NTC) has said she had begun investigating the marriage of a 61-year-old Danish Alhaji Yakubu Umar, Majoressa in Zauna, in Lapai, and a young girl allegedly had few years ago.
