You are clearly not living in Lagos, or you live all your life in Ota without making effort to visit Lagos or you seldom visit Lagos from Ota at convenient time for pleasure purposes.

If you are a businessman or employee or a Nigerian who is familiar with Lagos and Ota/Ifo expressway, you will agree that, there are more heavy traffic-prone spots on the express than freeway.

Who pays N230,000 per year rent in Ifo, Ogun State? There's nothing there to waste such amount of money on rent unless you are working with one of the multinationals in Agbara or higher level civil servant working in the same community.

Most of the people I know residing in Ifo work in Lagos. I wonder why they have to put themselves through such stress of traffic challenges from Lagos to Ifo every day of the week. Transportation fare and personal car maintenance expenses are more than enough to have yourself a nice 2 or 3 bedrooms flat in the suburb of Lagos instead of killing yourself in Ogun State/Ifo with stress. Road network in Ota/Ifo is the worst in Nigeria to the best of my knowledge.

It makes sense if you work in Ota/Ifo.

These traditional rulers are clearly not helping with the security situation in Zamfara and other black zones in Nigeria. Why are they not concerned their people are being killed daily? Are they getting richer out of the situation at the expense of the people?

Nobody or group(s) dares the govt. Govt will deal ruthlessly with any defiant when its ready.

We are blinded by bigotry and hatred in the south/east. Apparently, we are still embittered by PDP lost in 2015. Am from that region, I know what's up with my people.

The sooner we let go of our hatred for the north, the better for the region. The north is not our problem. We feel too entitled and always easily gambled away our political advantage for a peanut.

The region has never witnessed the massive federal presence in 16years of PDP than now. It's a political paradigm shift that call for awakening. President Buhari and APC are stepping stones to the southern/eastern political and economic liberation. Am not saying you should agree, but it's fact.

You and I don't know the same thing. Our reactions when a Policeman stop us engenders (most times) the treatment we get.

I do know there are far too good cops and extremely bad and corrupt cops in Nigeria. The bad ones activities are what we Nigerians based our judgement of the entire force on. These guys put their lives on the line for our safety, they need support. However, the force needs total overhaul to reduce the bad influence.

Nigerian should stop this nonsense of giving a dog a bad name to hang. Nigerian Police have their own excesses but the way Nigerians treat policemen in simple matters leave much to be desired. I personally have been harassed and stolen from by Policemen but that's not enough to brandish an entire force 'enemy'. The hardworking Policemen are still very much giving their best to protect and serve.

Our attitude towards Police amplified harsh reactions from some of the men/women of the force.

Am sure this so called Charles was very haughty and bellicose. Nigerians don't respect the police as law enforcers

The rule says if after declaration and verification it was discovered that some assets were not declared, the CCB must constitutionally alert him and tender another form to him to fill where the omitted assets must be declared. It's on refusal to do this that he can be prosecuted.

Now tell me, were these steps followed?

The PW2 today testified in court that the column where a verified declaration form is signed off was still empty. Meaning that even what he declared was not verified till date.

Good schools, but that is only hardware (and the relatively easier part), the software (good teachers/staff) are the MOST IMPORTANT part.

Governance is about investment for the good of the people. The East/South has not been able to attract such international donors despite international/multinational organisations in the region. Why? The region doesn't care about the people but the people in government.
