Must it always be PDP complaining and whining like little babies all the time? They were not the only party in the election but they are making themselves mockery of the entire process. How the mighty has fallen to the oil-discovery level. This is not the first time in Nigeria that INEC has declared an election inconclusive. Some years in Imo, INEC declared an election APGA won with almost 80,000 margin, PDP shamelessly hailed the decision by INEC. PDP allegedly won in Osun with 300+ margin and they are already threatening brimstone. How childish, PDP needs to grow up! |
Read here on Nairaland a few days ago that one fake prophet (some sentimental Nairalanders believe he is the real nigger) foretold that Omisore would win Osun governorship. I pity people who believe in fake prophets. |
KOPT33:I couldn't agree more to the bold. However, Nigerians need to think and deal smart. Not every loan service company with an app should be patronised. Some of them are run by bank insiders with an intent to use your details later to defraud you. Be careful is in order! |
awelekiti:The shortfall in the margin was as a result of errors noticed and corrected in some wards. Parties to the elections agreed on this. However, a winner must emerge. Whoever wins, other parties should accept defeat and move on. But, are you saying if APC wins, Osun state will break up? And If PDP wins, it is just and Osun will not break up? You made it sounds like PDP is entitled. Shun this thought bro |
dayo2me:I bet if APC had rigged the election, they would never be an inconclusive elections. It looks like PDP outsmarted them. |
icon02:#NigeriaAir is not abandoned, but suspended in the interim. It means, it will be realised tomorrow. There is no need to be emotional about the project. Try and see things away from the ill-informed and opposed public. Partisanship will never move us forward. I have absolutely no regret believing and hoping for the realisation of NigeriaAir. Peace! |
flames01:Ok |
One down, more to go. Let see if APC won't have the number in the Senate to impeach Saraki at the end of the day |
They did to Kemi Adeosun, now another Westerner. Ignorant Nigerians will be shouting lopsided appointments, that the north are favoured. |
Why do supposedly learned people in Nigeria talk ignorantly and behave like greenhorns? Government do abandon, cancel and or suspend projects, why is suspension of #NigeriaAir project a big deal in Nigeria? Opposition is making mountain out of molehill as if that's the only problem of Nigeria. If KO (Knock Out) actually released the statement on behalf of PDP, it's absolutely shameful. The same party and people that destroyed Nigeria Airways and put us out of national prestige are now relishing on suspending an attempt to revive the project. It's sad |

These Young Boys will cause a global football upset against Manchester United. Their drive and energy is unbelievable |
The comparison does not add up whatsoever. MMM, Nigerian gambled with their hard earned money, NigeriaAir no Nigerian risked his or her money, not even Nigerian government. Perhaps, the expected investors are not able to meet up with expected financial commitment for kickoff, hence the suspension. It's sad the project has been suspended. I dunno why some Nigerians jubilate at the interim suspension when we should be regretful. Some Nigerians are unbelievably regressive |
Angelparadise:Like he did in 2015 as opposition? |
The presidency does not need to be involved, even as the president is the Chief security Officer of the country. The Police has been empowered to prosecute alleged criminal endeavours to the full extant of the law. |
itiswellandwell:Peace bro |
itiswellandwell:. Fear of Computer [logizomechanophobia] or Mouse [musophobia] is not peculiar to Africa or Nigeria. Even in developed and highly technoligcal countries, certain human and animal develop some sort of fear for Computer and some Mouse. It's human and animal form of fear. The little girl might be seeing a mouse unknown to her it's a digital mouse. People actually fear mouse. I am not surprised. She will overcome her fear |
APC is a party to beat. Without prejudice to other candidates and parties, I would like to see an unfamiliar face and name in western politics - the candidate Gboyega Oyetola is preferred. He may probably have something to offer Osun people. Other than him, I would want Moshood Adeoti, he is also an unfamiliar personae. He may also have something tangible to offer Osun people. Other candidates have heldsway, holding Osun to random with absolutely nothing to offer for their years of political reign. It is high time, the people retired them. |
donbachi:If security is given less attention during the elections, and it turns violence, you will be the first to blame the government for not providing enough security to protect electorates. If you are law abiding and exercise your franchise in consideration and permissiveness of other electorates, you have nothing to worry about a whole battalion of security deployed to oversee the elections. I don't even know what some of us Nigerian wants. On a serious note, guerrilla warfare is the most difficult warfare. Because you don't know your enemies. Government can only repel and manage the situation. If you doubt me, ask America and UK. |
Trust me, APC has locked down 2019. My advice to other parties, don't spend too much campaigning, you won't recover your money because you stand no chance of winning 2019. 2. Pick more than 2 nomination forms because presidential is locked down for PMB. Nigerian banks and MFBs will sponsor people to frustrate traderMoni scheme. Nothing for them again. |
It was abysmal failure in the supposed home country but was successful in overseas country HQ - Equatorial Guinea. Quite an achievement if you ask me. Pro-ipob can be very mischievous and lost. Someone actually cropped out some pictures of deserted buildings and places, posted on Nairaland and bragged how successful ipob-sit-at-home order was in Equatorial Guinea. SMH |
Keyamo has done his research well. If PDP existed other than WhatsApp, Twitter and Nairaland, there was no way, Fayose would have been beaten by Fayemi. Fayose became complacent when he saw that he clearly defeated Fayemi on Twitter Poll, unknowing to him, the reality is offline. |
Even as there is freedom of speech, there should be grave consequences for spreading fake news. This news is fake. Channels TV reported similar news from this community sometime in May this year. https://www.channelstv.com/2018/05/07/residents-blame-military-for-attack-on-adamawa-communities/ I have the feeling this blogger went to dig up the news, tweak it to suit his purpose in order to heat up the polity more. I have searched online to see if credible news media carries this news, but none apart from dailytrust. It's a pity how abysmal some of us can descend for our selfish purpose |
Homeboiy:They aren't adults. They are just boisterous teenagers trespassing on adult territories and got burnt. Adults will always handle their problems and keep private matters private. |
N100,000 minimum wage made possible from exportation of Marijuana. Charity begins at home, he should from his janitors at Sahara Reporters Sowore is taking this joke too far. People don't understand the intricacies in govt, |
So this guy shut the doors of the Nigerian legislative chambers at the expense of Nigerians and pursue his selfish presidential ambition. Who laugh last laugh best. |
Nigerian politicians and non-politicians are corrupt. Investigate most I have a problem with all these naive slowpokes shouting youth-leadership. Which present and past Nigerian politicians did not start as a youth in their leadership quest? We keep deceiving ourselves that we have better options in youth. I can assure you, the present youth will be worst in leadership. If you doubt me, check their leadership capacity and achievements in higher institutions. Simple SUG elections are rigged, meagre resources for common good are diverted for personal use, and you believe these attitude will change when they take up leadership in broader field? A Leopard does not change its spot bro. Forget all these pretenders promising heaven and earth, they only need you to validate their mission to self aggrandisement. Nobody cares about you in Nigeria. Do your best and believe in you. Nigerians are selfish and proudly lawless. Expect nothing lofty even if an angel is at the helm of affairs, he will be frustrated out. The day of reckoning is not here yet. Peace! |
I thought it was only in Nigeria that people look for free services. Africans with free-things mentality is worrisome. Is it that these people don't understand that hospitals (private) are run with money? Things don't just into places naturally Once you request their services, you must be ready to pay for it, or at least show financial commitment. This is how you can help keep health services running for the benefits of others and your next time. Otherwise use government health care centres free. |
If this action by the mayor was taken by law enforcement officers in Nigeria, some people would have shouted 'Buhari is a dictator', 'rule of law not followed', 'human right abuse'. Whereas some people requires coercion to behave right in a civilised society. |
Alcohol kills more people than drug-abuse...the researched opined. My question is, does the research also consider the number of mad people from drug-abuse (especially from marijuana and monkey-tail)? |
