Lagos State needs more than 5,000 new buses (not necessarily the long buses) to meet the teeming population. The long buses can ply long distance routes, while another set of mini-buses ply short distances and major streets. I hope this is not going to be the same 'gra-gra' preceding brt and lagbuses during Fashola's regime. The same sales-pitch of brt solving traffic challenges in Lagos, but it worsen it. I don't Lagos state government solving this singular problem with the introduction of these new buses. Danfo can supplement the number but operations of danfo private partners regulated to meet mega-city standard. |
The art is personal judgement, it does not validate the truth about Nigeria. The truth is Nigeria is a great country. Minority avarice, corrupt tendencies and attendant vices does not in any way negate the ultimate truth. |
Everything went wrong. Mikel, Moses most especially are 'dont dirty players', they have no business in the squad. Check the stats, you'll confirm everything was wrong. I knew the team was no good during the international friendly. |
At last we ended up in tragic as the opponent names imply...modric, brovovic, rakitic, etc |
jinka:Drop this kind of mentality in this 21 century. Black or white, you put in your best, you win and walk tall with your head up. When Barca of all people became complacent and threw away 4:1 goals against Roma in the last UCL, did that make them cursed blacks? Success is a byproduct of determination, perseverance and hardwork. It doesn't matter whether black or white. Nigerian team is not just serious. There's no fire and passion for success in them. Iceland went against all odds against Argentina earlier today. That's the spirit |
We Nigerians are always sentimental about issues. I said from the beginning that Moses and Mikel have no business in the squad. The duo are minus in the midfield and forward. It's a shame we ended up like this after all the hype. If we had put in better efforts, it won't hurt like this. It's disappointing that's the best we can offer |
EweduAfonja:Because he accepted an offer from Real Madrid 2 days to the world cup. He ceased being Spanish coach once he accepted Madrid offer. |
Kudos to her. There is nothing wrong in updating her profile as presidential aspirant. Time not ripe yet for woman president in Nigeria |
Probably these three money bags are betting how many goals Russians will score Saudi. Big boys betting |
The lady standing beside Kim Jong (Probably an interpreter) must be very powerful and trusted among Jim's cabinet members. I envy her |
Cuteamigo1:He was in the shadow in Chelsea. He was more popular in Roma than Chelsea. He became a superstar in Liverpool |
EPL has a way of making superstars. Salah became instant sensation in his first season in EPL that the world can not ignored. The dude captured Messi and Ronaldo spotlights, even in Russia 2018 the spotlight is on him. He is the guy to beat. |
"Yet he can't resurrect those within his premises". Methinks those around him aren't important and won't leave much impression in followers mind. However, I still believe charity begins at home. |
chuksjuve:This very holiday is not new. Nigeria has been celebrating the same holidays in the last 30 years apart from a few addition, like the Democracy Day...now June 12 effective 2019. We like to blow trumpet unnecessarily. Success is not about working 24/7 in a calendar year. In fact, a successful man is one who work less.

President Donald Trump has never failed to represent. He has made history as the first American president to meet with the king of the North - The northern supreme leader Kim Jong Un. He championed the meeting between the Southern and Northern Korea. To say the least, this is quite an achievement for Trump administration.

DaBullIT:If you mind some Nigerians, you will lose yourself. Most of them have this penchant for defending corrupt people just to spite the will of progress. Most have corruption ingrained in their system, anything that looks like cleansing is alien to them. Sometimes you can't help but wonder what they benefit from these corrupt politicians. The so called lawyers were debased to say the least. |
I doubt the vegetables grown (inorganic) now are of any positive benefits to consumers, rather the inorganic vegetables are dangers to human health. Cancers are on the rise in the west while a lot of them are vegetarians. It begs for answers to the questions: Why are the vegetables not to the rescue? Most of the vegetables in circulations are chemically grown and enhanced. The DNA of these veggies have been messed up, they pose danger to human systems. However, benefits of good vegetables to human health can no be over-emphasized. To live fresh and longer, stay on natural vegetables |
Sexina851:If you're a fan of self-acclaimed men of God, you certainly lost your sense sis. Know God for yourself, don't let these so called pastors use you for their good. Peace! |
Please let stay on sane history and shun turning this thread to tribal warfare. Am not in doubt the ewarriors will register their presence |
LMAO...1, 6, 7, 20 & 24 LOL..."When you come I will give you Tfare"...simply abort mission |
God is the only ultimate protector. Nigerians are running abroad claiming home is not safe for them. Here is a promising young man cut short of life in the UK by 'unknown persons'. Death is everywhere, Nigeria or not. What we should concern ourselves is 'how well do we live our lives? It's better to be lost in the service to others than in the service to ourselves. That's the greatest legacy for a life in the hereafter. |
Bloggers and fake news are like butter and bread. I don't trust their reports, after the misleading report on Innoson and GTbank yesterday. Surprisingly, legit media houses didn't carry the report, it was only on blog spaces. GTbank even issued a statement that supreme court has not served them. These bloggers will set this country on fire someday with their fake news |
Op, you exposed nothing. It is common knowledge Nigeria higher institutions of learning don't respond to email and phone enquiries. Most of the phone numbers on each website are either not registered on any network or privately owned and the owners are angry Nigerians who have no business with the schools. The schools are too lazy to organise themselves and join a global village. |
I enjoy it when a member or members turn the house upside down. It does not give room for sharing of money. |
Am not bragging, I will give the man N25,000 out of the N80,000. Already I had lost all the money Poverty will never make an honest man compromise |
Earlier Taribo West said he saw fire in the players when he visited their camp. In the match against Czech Republic, I rain quenching the fire and proceeding to world cup. They are not ready. I wish Nigeria didn't spend the money to sponsor them. Very disappointing match |
I strongly believe Moses and Mikel don't deserve spots in the world cup squad. It's unthinkable losing to Czech Republic (supposed underdog). This was a chance for the team to display their football prowess and instill fear in their world cup opponents. The team is not ready for world cup. |
Don't believe and follow people who value money and material possessions than members of congregation |
Highbrow:If there are no opponents in a contest, the only candidate is declared the winner. It's even foolhardy for any party to present its candidate in the eleventh hour to contest against PMB. Any party planning alternative candidates should have started before now to present his achievements and value proposition. Nigeria will build on PMB's legacy after him. |
elrony:The world over, people have been losing jobs. Nigerians have been losing jobs since the creation of jobs. As people lose jobs, others gain jobs. As long as you have your two hands, you have a fighting chance. It's not enough to have certificates, value will always get you jobs. Opportunities are everywhere but we wait on government to provide one. No leader who has the interest of Nigerians at heart would have done anything differently to move the country from the grasp of a few individuals. The fact is, people will still whine as long as the narrative does not meet their individual wants (even if angel Gabriel is at the helms of affairs). 2019 I encourage you to vote your best candidate who will change our status. My advice: Don't vote based on ethnic sentiment. Don't vote based on exchanged of a few Naira or material promise. We can't afford another bandwagon of rogues in government. If you present yourself in 2019 and impressed me with your track records, better than Buhari, even if it's grassroot accomplishments, you shall have my vote bro. Peace |
elrony:'Hardship' is subjective. Most Nigerians like me will disagree completely with you. What the country experienced in 2016 & 2017 was the backlash of our actions and cheerful irresponsibility of Nigerians. Every action (positive and negative) has a consequent. We learnt our lesson the hard way. You can't achieve peace without war, and in war, you have casualties. Why not we put that behind us and embrace a new Nigeria? If you have not seen or felt the change, then you are still angry. Why angry all the time bro? |
Highbrow:Yet you didn't offer us your preferred candidate. The undebatable fact is, Buhari is best candidate so far. He is setting the country back on track. Long live PMB! Long Live Nigeria!! Peace |
