SirBunky85:I was not talking based on emotion. Watch these videos and tell us your honest opinion who deserves a Yellow Card. Pretend for a second you are not Neymar's fan 1. Neymar in penalty box https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYxlI40KoIE 2. Sadio Mane in Penalty box https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0lYdin4vUg |
...yet they can not foresee those behind the killings in Benue and the some of the Northern states. ...yet they can not forsee where bokoharam are hiding and their next target. And people still flock around these fake self-acclaimed men of God. |
SirBunky85:Sadio Mane didn't dive. There was contact with opponent but wasn't enough to award a penalty. In Neymar's, he clearly dived without any contact whatsoever. |
Op, there is no way in the conversation that Mikel said VAR favours Big countries. I almost labelled him an ignoramus until I read your post. Nigeria with more than 180million people is a big country if you ask me. In the current world cup tournament the only small countries are Iceland and Panama with less 5 million people. Nigeria was not even considered an underdog based on their experience in world cup tournaments and individual experience in intl club football. It's a misconception VAR favours any country. Nigeria were just poor in the tournament, their best effort was against Iceland. |
Brazil vs Costa Rica – Neymar dives for a penalty VAR: Yes Verdict: Correct decision for not giving the penalty, Wrong decision for not giving Yellow Card to Neymar |
ruggedboy01:And you feel being angry would make things work? Ok, I leave you to your choice. Peace bro |
World cup had ended the day Nigeria disappointingly left the tournament. Am back focusing on something important. |
ruggedboy01:Why are you so angry all the time? Nothing has really changed in all the years of anger. Why not have a try at happiness for once and see how things fall into places? Peace bro! |
Religion is indeed the opium of the masses. Imagine a Pastor cajoling you to buy ticket to Heaven and you believe him and buy. This is nothing more than religious intoxication. |
I can't believe Senegal are out on Tie-breaker rules. |
Senegal will undoubtedly qualify in the group. Looks like they are the only country in Africa who were ready for the world cup. Nigeria only went there to showcase their branded Jersey and Asoebi. |
obowunmi:Fela Durotoye Is this not the guy who talks too much and sell handouts in the name of motivational speaking? Governance is not talk but action. Great talkers are unserious people. He will do well in church (where gullible Nigerians are mostly found) not governance. Kingsley Moghalu Apart from his brief with CBN and UN, he has not been much of an impact in the grassroot including his community. He has no antecedence whatsoever. Atiku Abukakar Tested and failed woefully. He is a political jobber and does not deserve another chance. His company intels is raping Nigeria in taxes. Considering him means you have not learnt from history. Omoyele Sowore One of the jokers in Nigeria. Someone who runs a media outfit like Linda Ikeji's blog, striving on rumours, lies and hearsay. He does not stand a chance. |
tommyeddy:Oshe! We like it like that bro. We have since left banditry and 'na me only' system of your government behind. We can't go back. |
Rubbish talk. Buhari is the only candidate and winner of 2019 election, there is nothing Fayose can do about it. We can't afford to go back to the era of rogues and bandits. We are moving forward |
alignacademy:You are just being emotional and stereotypical. African values are not eroded because there are many 'dysfunctional' kids (as you labelled kids out of wedlock) but because the social institutions (both parents-family, church, schools, society) have failed in their responsibilities. We have been acculturated to western norms and pop culture. Anything less is seen as abnormal and completely alienated. These are not functions of dysfunctional kids. I have seen and mingled with 'dysfunctional kids' who were raised by single parents becoming the change that the community needs. I have also seen 'functional' kids (raised by both parents) becoming the common bowl for the community's spit. Rusty society is not a byproduct of 'dysfunctional' kids but holistic compromise by both 'functional' and 'dysfunctional' (You and I included). |
Chima? My Igbo brother. That name should not be taken seriously. They speak with both sides of the mouth. They exaggerate issues for personal gain. mtcheeeew Suswam was smart to know he would be arrested and charged for corruption. Chima is speaking too little too late |
alignacademy:What I can deduced from your opinion is, babies born out of wedlock are dysfunctional kids from dysfunctional home, and probably the problem to the world. Unless you have a different undertone to your opinion, be kind to share |
kinggSamuel: Jarus:I hope so. Football is full of surprises. |
seankay:Chill bro, we can't afford to give back the country to rogues and bandits. The change is good, you have to deal with it |
seankay:You are still not man enough. Nairaland will never give you that fulfillment. Peace bro |
seankay:Since he has offended your senses why not call him to order instead of hiding behind Nairaland to spew hate. Anyone can puff on social media, being the real man is off social media. You can offer to do a TV interview and let him know he's a bastard president. I dare you tough guy. |
class0247:You are arguably one hell of a Nigerian who makes mediocrity feels sense of importance. I sight you bro |
You failed to mention Group E Brazil 4pts Switzerland 4pts Serbia pts 3 If Brazil lose to Serbia in their next game, they are out |
Cyynthialove:It sheer stupidity how people will go on social media to make unsubstantiated statements believing they are exercising their freedom of speeches. Come to think of it, it also foolish to believe you can't be traced and arrested to substantiate your statement. It's sad, we use our mouth to inflame these unreasonable and unjustifiable killings instead becoming peacemakers and healers. You aren't speaking for Christian. You are simply spewing hate. Watch it, otherwise you self-destruct. |
We don't need him in the Match. Nigeria vs Argentina match is going to be very decisive. Messi and Aguero are going to be all over the place to prove a point. We need sturdy and creative midfielders to hold the pace of these class players. Mikel is the least creative midfield in the world cup tournament. He should stay on the bench with his 'don't dirty style of play' or better still come home for treatment. |
NCC to increase the price of data? Is NCC telco to increase data? What is wrong with bloggers with stupid news? NCC is a telecom regulatory agency not telecommunications company. |
Becoted001:Pig when I don vex shot dead after Nigeria was beaten by Croatia
|
Forget your make-believe list. Doing business in Nigeria is a tough one. Only perseverance and grace of God will help you succeed |
Thanks to VAR, Neymar almost cheated Costa Rica Neymar deserved a Yellow for that dive |
splmosixx:This is one of our singular problems as a people. We empathise defiant and condone indiscipline thereby encouraging anarchy, yet we want government to protect life and property. Let me remind you sir, Nigeria is a sovereign nation with laws and order. As a citizen, you must act within the confine of those laws. It's our civic obligation and responsibility. |
Clearly, village people at work. I can't think of any logical reason for his foolishness, after such a perilous journey only to get caught at a train station with a weapon. |
I read one of James Hadley Chase books in my childhood days. I can't even remember the title. Not much of a novel person. I will rather take 2hours to watch the movie version than spend days reading the novel. I get bored on the way |
