Good one from the presidency. Nigerians are not just sincere. There so much collusion to frustrate the federal government effort just because a lot of big fishes have been openly alleged 'criminals', and they fight back to take us back to the crude old ways. All of them want to protect their own interests not the masses'. But reason will prevail and faithful Nigerians. Buhari till 2023. God bless the federal republic of Nigeria God bless Nigerians Peace! |
Poor Jokers chasing shadows. If they have the balls they should go to Abuja to demonstrate. Next please |
limeta:Sis, it's not about having a Christian President. We had Obasanjo and Jonathan (GEJ from the perceived marginalised region) yet nothing worked. In fact, evil, corruption and stealing were institutionalized under them. Christians have the biggest and largest churches in Nigeria if not in the world, yet poverty and ungodliness among members is endemic and no end in sight. I think, it is high time we tried a non-religious president. Religion is license to cheat, manipulate and self-aggrandizement. My humble opinion. |
Dpharisee:Prophesy from God will always aligned with the outcome, no matter human manipulations. Nigerians behave well when they realise the law is watching. If there was political scuffle and people died, you would have blamed the government for not providing enough security. Nigerians will always whine about everything - good or bad (most especially if the outcome does not meet their individual and selfish aspirations). If the other party had won, am sure you would still complain that the security was not enough. Government does not need to satisfy individuals, but the generality of the people. While you continue to cast your vote on social media, Ekiti people have moved on with hope for a better Ekiti. |
- Sound reasoning will always conquer hate. - Collective progress will always conquer individualism, divide and rule, greed and selfishness instituted by PDP, family and friends. - More corrupt Nigerians will go to jail and forfeit their Ill-gotten wealths for common good after 2019. - The era of banditry system of government had gone. |
Common sense senator representing his constituency on Twitter is one of them. |
This feature does not and will not in anyway stop dissemination of fake news. Majority of Whatsapp users in Nigeria don't don't care to filter any message sent to their phone before sharing. They relish forwarding same to their contacts, whether the message has been labeled 'forwarded', it does not mean a thing to them. The only sensible security feature is to engrave contact details (phone nr and name as registered on telco service provider database) of the original sender as footnote to forwarded messages. Even the 100th million recipient should see the original sender's details. The original composer is solely responsible for his message. |
loswhite:ofuafo orumeteme is a now man. Flexing muscle on Nairaland. It is well with you |
It's Explorers again...my man Why Air Force One come dey smoke like that. Mehn, check out security detail for one president: 1,000 own staff plus planes, helicopters and cars including bomb-proof 'Beast. 10, 000 police officers. In Nigeria, people would be beating themselves cussing the office of the president. |
They are looking for Squirrels. |
lastmessenger:You are not following. Sharing of the repatriated fund to disadvantaged Nigerians and uplifting them from abject poverty is one of the strict conditions by World bank and Swiss government for the repatriation. N5,000 means the world to most Nigerians. Be deeply thankful you are not in their shoes. It's not as if Nigerian government cannot invest the fund in infrastructures et al, they must honor the agreement entered into with Swiss and world bank. Personally, it's not out of place, but dispensation should be closely monitored to achieve the aim. |
What is this nonsense? Who is without sin? Two adults having consensual sex and the village came at them like they were the worst sinners. Yes, adultery is an aberration, but it doesn't warrant public shaming of offenders. The sensible thing is to allow the husband decide whether to divorce the wife or reprimand her or the village council converge and decides their punishment. Hypocrisy of Nigerians sink to high heavens |
Op, who is the PDP candidate? Fayose is on the forefront, is he running a third term? If there's a PDP candidate other than Fayose, the person is definitely going to be a stooge. Woe to a state whose king is a stooge |
vondaman:Oh! I never knew the legislators (senators) are part of the federal govt of Nigeria. They distance themselves from issues and heap blames on the presidency. When it comes to issues that will affect them and their greed, they rise to the occasion and claim being part of the govt and need for their inputs to be sought. The executive fiat on corruption is a welcome one. Let it be thrown to Nigerians for ratification. The so called legislators will never consent to anything against their corrupt tendencies. |
Twitter girls and lies are inseparable. On the other hand, this sounds like a good marketing promo for Twitter, more girls will join Twitter expecting to connect with the mystery benefactor. Girls and attention on Twitter ehn |
Movic1:Classic! |
People will make Nigeria work, not government. On a larger scale, the people are the government, forget those in the corridors of power. Lagos, Nigeria will work if people place national interest above personal interest. LRU team refused to collect even a tip. It shows their respect to professional ethics and making concerted effort to make things work for better. Others are building while some Nigerians relish pulling down. Pettiness, selfishness, greed, ethnicity are our bane of progress not government. |
I knew such profanity must come from a black man. |
ubox:Has it been of any use to the people of Ikot Abasi let alone Akwa Ibom? |
What happen to level playing field in Ekiti politics. This is just party rally, the governor is behaving like a tout. He should be held accountable to whatever happens during and after the election. Is Fayose even a leader? A leader who is lawless. A leader who can't recognise higher authority? A president who overseas a group of federating units is visiting your state for a peaceful rally for his party, and as a governor you are opposing his peaceful visit. Imposing your selfish will on the people by deliberately shutting down commercial and social activities to frustrate your president's mission in your state. One of the laws of power I have learnt is 'pretend to like your boss even if you don't like him'. Fayose is defiant and lawless. He has no respect for constitutional authorities, just like his counterpart - Dino |
Hezbola:That's why he is sitting down. Dino is also a sitting Senator, he sat down sometime in the past just like this governor. We the citizens are always quick to defend them with immunity BS when they goof, but cry blue murder with their destructive way of leading the people. If the same government they serve deal with them IDGAF |
[quote author=ubox post=69263780]and would be operated under Public Private Partnership Agreement (PPA) with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) joint venture with Dangote Group, BlackRhino, African Development Bank, International Finance Consortium (IFC) with the Islamic Development Bank as financiers of the project. /quote] Is Udom Islamizing Akwa Ibom and Nigeria gradually? Where are the Christian fanatics? Udom should be called to order. |
Nigerian projects always delivered in media and paper, but delivered spiritual in physical. |
Quite insightful. The termination of lagbus contract with LAMATA was ill-thought out one, though the operators flouted most of the conditions for operations. I believed the contract should have been reviewed and rejigged. If Primero contract is not reviewed timely, they will go the same way of Lagbus. What Lagosians need is an effective and efficient public transportation system. |
EPIJOE:You know nothing about Nigeria. All the boys would have been rescued if it was Nigeria, even with some of us wishing and clandestinely putting spoke in the wheel of success. I don't understand how you boys downplay this country. Every country has its ups and down but the media in other countries manage to portray the good side more to the world. But here, the media fabricate all sort of lies, hates, exaggerate for their selfish interest. Others are contributing their best while few others are pulling down in order to scorn. The world would still rally around Nigeria to rescue those boys. Nigeria has done severally among the committee of nations. Forget what you read on social media and print media. |
Tell them. You are not even an experienced politician, yet to know PDP marriage with her proteges is a failed marriage already. I thought they were some decency in some of these politicians. I had misconception all along. A party that was accused of everything unholy, anti-human and irredeemably regressive, yet others still find it interesting to join force with them in their proposed comeback against our common wealth. We are not going back to the days of banditry system of government. PDP and her cohorts cannot force us back. Buhari to our rescue. We Buhari on after 2019. |
Welcome to entrepreneurship in Nigeria. It's not going to be easy oga Iyke. Brace up for impact - multiple taxes, Fuel/Diesel and generator maintenance cost, you generate your water, perhaps repair road for your customers, rent and land use charges, salaries, dishonest workers, troublesome customers, getting customers is the hardest part. Your revenue must quadruple your expenses for sustainability. |
post=69156912:All candidates are best candidates to themselves and family, the Ekiti people in general will decide the best candidate. The era of stomach infrastructure was wasted. |
This is another level of idiocy. I can tell you the student in question is not entirely innocent in this case. Looking at another angle, the school has ganged up and deny her being a student of the school after perhaps 5years of labour and wasted resources. I can tell you, she is an absolute outcast in Nigerian higher institutions as professor-career killer. No school would want to admit her in Nigeria There is no justice anywhere. Either you beat them smartly or you join the gang and get out silently when it's convenient. |
What is wrong with all these bloggers and instagram trolls. Is it by force to upload ambiguous video on social media? The video proved nothing. In fact the video posted is useless in this case. If the girl lied to the public, she should be prosecuted to serve as deterrent to other mischievous girls. The case of one fapson and taxify driver on rape came to mind |
Empiree:GEJ's boys sat down and embezzled the money. It's an agelong issue. Even in Obasanjo's time the problem was there but the publicity wasn't blown out of proportion. Christian Nigerians seem to have a problem with the north and Moslems. It's a terrible narrative. |
Empiree:I stumbled on this piece http://punchng.com/n100bn-cattle-ranch-fund-one-year-after-resolution-reps-yet-to-begin-probe/ Wondering if GEJ's motive was to Islamize Nigeria as well. Nigerians are hateful and sadistic hypocrites. Nigerians are the bane of Nigeria |
