Nigerians are not just sincere. There so much collusion to frustrate the federal government effort just because a lot of big fishes have been openly alleged 'criminals', and they fight back to take us back to the crude old ways.

All of them want to protect their own interests not the masses'. But reason will prevail and faithful Nigerians.

Sis, it's not about having a Christian President. We had Obasanjo and Jonathan (GEJ from the perceived marginalised region) yet nothing worked. In fact, evil, corruption and stealing were institutionalized under them. Christians have the biggest and largest churches in Nigeria if not in the world, yet poverty and ungodliness among members is endemic and no end in sight.

I think, it is high time we tried a non-religious president. Religion is license to cheat, manipulate and self-aggrandizement. My humble opinion.

Sharing of the repatriated fund to disadvantaged Nigerians and uplifting them from abject poverty is one of the strict conditions by World bank and Swiss government for the repatriation. N5,000 means the world to most Nigerians. Be deeply thankful you are not in their shoes. It's not as if Nigerian government cannot invest the fund in infrastructures et al, they must honor the agreement entered into with Swiss and world bank.

Personally, it's not out of place, but dispensation should be closely monitored to achieve the aim.

Oh! I never knew the legislators (senators) are part of the federal govt of Nigeria. They distance themselves from issues and heap blames on the presidency. When it comes to issues that will affect them and their greed, they rise to the occasion and claim being part of the govt and need for their inputs to be sought.
