obonujoker:And why is Mourinho struggling in Man Utd upon the club status in world football and money spent? However, it's clear we have our different evaluations of a good manager. Mourinho and his likes don't fit in my yardstick. Peace bro |
obonujoker:These clubs you mentioned are top clubs on the football chart in terms of money power, and Mourinho leveraged on the financial power of these clubs. That does not mean he's better than other coaches. When Zidane took over Real Madrid as coach, most people questioned his experience to manage such a big club. I told people he would holdsway a few years. It's not about his experience in coaching a team, it's about the quality he manages in the team. The best players money can buy are in these topflight clubs managed by Mourinho, there is no acceptable excuse for Mourinho to fail. Watch this space - next season ManUtd will call for his sack. He will get worst. Nothing too special about him bro. I would never agree that Zidane is the best there is for doing double going on third in Champions League. I would never agree Barca Ernesto and Enrique are better considering Barca's achievement under these gentlemen. Leicester City under Ranieri achieved so much with too little under Mourinho's watch in Chelsea. The reality is that If Ranieri or say Moyes manages Barca or Real Madrid either of these clubs will win or reach the Champions League final. Peace bro |
jumobi1:My bad, Coach in Madrid and Inter Milan. Yet even as an assistant in Barca, he had a say just like the coach - Robson. He was very passionate about defensive option in Barca. myk2mic:My point is, he's a lucky chap. He's not as good as the press portrays him - A good manager should be able to move both individual team member and entire team from one unacceptable level to next acceptable level. If he happens to manage Leicester City, he will help them to relegation because there are no big names and not enough money to buy those big names. |
sexdoll:Not changing tune. I have critically assessed Mourinho since when he was with Barca. He doesn't have the skill set for talent hunting and development. Rashford playing under him is waste of talent. I bet if that boy joins Arsenal or Liverpool or even Southampton, he would be a force to be reckoned with. His price will suddenly go up. |
Mourinho is not a good coach. He was seemingly successful because he was leveraging on financial and manpower prowess of topflight clubs in the world. Interestingly, he's finding it difficult to win games now because football has changed. There are a lot of talents in every football club now. He doesn't have the managerial skills to harness talents. He doesn't develop potential talents, he builds himself around big names, already made players. If he goes back to club like Porto, he won't exceed first round in Champions League. He has nothing to offer. He will wreck ManUtd and leave feeling like a superman. |
These machines are not roadworthy, they are for displays at auto-shows |
There are many smart cops in Nigeria but the corrupt ones overshadow them. If NPF desires to solve a crime, they will solve it effortlessly but corruption and personal interests kill them. Imagine a police asking a victim for money for biro and paper before he (victim) can write a report. A Police unit asking for money before your complaints can be attended to. Nigerians will rather take the laws into their hands than go through the inhumane process of reporting a crime to the Police. It's a sad tale that needs reprogramming from the hierarchy |
tomakint:My pleasure bro |
Icon79:Hahahaha dude, you are one in a million peeps that want that. Chioma Assurance is simply psychedelic |
Is AIT still in operation? By the way, what happened to DaarSat? |
These are local government Chairman's functions on Wikipedia. The reverse is the case in Nigeria. Local government is a drain-pipe to the Nigerian government. It brings no real community impact (positive impact) to the people. Last I checked, Raji Fashola of Lagos state undertook street numbering and naming in Lagos state. Local government in Lagos state only collect Radio/TV license and Okada levies for personal aggrandizement. |
LMAO...take 2 in the morning before you wake up. (meaning: take 2 in your last morning dream before you wake up) Confused pharmacist |
There is no latest picture here. Still the same pictures in circulation 3 years ago by bloggers. |

Thought these drugs were not easy to come by in Nigeria. Am surprised to know these drugs are available to the point of abuse. Nigerians even abuse common codeine?? Absurd! A physician prescribed an anti-anxiety (drug) for a high bp friend, you know we couldn't get the drug over the counter from licensed pharmacies, he had to resort to common sleeping pill for respite. Alabukun is the only readily available over-the-shelf-drug, but I have never considered it an opiate. It's shocking how people can combine drugs with alcohol for a lasting emotional effect without any forethought of the side effect this mixture, which could be fatal. Banning these drugs is not the solution. Nigerians will always find a way to get 'high'. It's a by-product of laziness and restiveness |

rifasenate11:We just like to bring to the public domain our sordid political campaign (either to feign smartness or to expose our ignorance on things we are not experts). You righly think the presidency and the consultants the Nigerian government used for this bargain are foolish and you know better than them? Note, the presidency hurriedly paid for the aircraft in order to meet the deadline of payment stipulated by the USA government. Of course, we all know the bureaucratic bottleneck pose by our legislative council. For your consumption, refer to the attached press release from US government (State Department Bureau of Political Military Affairs) on the deal. Details of the cost $592 million is highlighted in Yellow. Peace!

I don't watch religious telecast. Am no fan of pastors. Am the biggest fan of God |
NwanyiAwkaetiti:With her cult personality, she is by default a representative (informal ambassador) of Nigeria's tourism and culture. |
All the men in the picture dressed well and unfortunately posed with a mad woman. Most women cannot choose their dresses for the occasion. I believe she would have fared brilliantly wearing a well tailored Nigerian attire. She is supposed to be Tourism ambassador for goodness sake. It's sad we have this penchant for worshiping mediocre |
One of the most development youngsters in Liverpool squad. If he sustains the momentum, he will be a superstar. I have read from sport pundit that the dude is worth more than £40m now from £8.5m Liverpool bought him. Congratulations for his feat - playing in UCL final in his first season at Liverpool |
There is nothing to rock here. This is no cloth. Women always look for a chance to go naked. This is one. Women and insecurity are inseparable |
izaray:SMH for you. Who made Dino's imbroglio with the Police an important issue if not you and the press/bloggers who give it much attention? Must you insult the president at every trivial issues? #NotTooYoungToRun I say #YouthsAren'tReady |
Shalomc:I pass over this kind of comments. It reeks of childishness and absolute lack of cognitive content. GuyfawkesAB:It gives me nausea. Am never surprised other kids find such comments reasonable hence the 'likes'. I used to learn a lot from Nairaland. Arguments were intellectually overwhelming then but now arguments are mind-numbing and worrisome, portending danger to the future. Nairaland needs matured moderators to regulate users' comments. |

Excellente The winning team leads. The Super-powers God bless Nigeria! God bless America!! |
loverboys:Don't go there bro. In business dealings and you introduce yourself as 'pastor', I double check and rethink my position. |
- Start a church and call yourself a Pastor - Become a politician Sure things |
Trump in full support of flushing out looters of common wealth and progressive governance. Good meeting indeed. Long live the presidency! Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!! Long live USA!!! Long live the good people of the world who sew nothing but love and peace in the face of hate and discord!!!! Peace!!!!! |
alexxo11:You were born in the 90s probably- the destructive age. You missed the beauty of Nigeria. |
CilicMarin:You are true Nigerian. Continue to lend your weight to progress. It's a milestone to great things to come. A step in the right direction. Nigeria shall be great again. Long live the presidency! Long live Nigerians!! Long live Nigeria!!! |
thesicilian:Absolutely. Nigeria was far better than most European countries hence the name - Giant of Africa Whitemen/women were queuing up begging to work in Nigeria. Graduates/Certificates from Nigerian institutions were more honorable than the foreign counterparts. Cambridge and Oxford graduates/certificates came close. There was a country, we destroyed it through avarice and unpatriotism There is HOPE. We shall be great again. |
