Dongreat:You think the kid is upcoming on global stage? Hell no! He's still a foetus. He happens to holdsway in Nigeria because we are a noisy people. We don't care about 'music'. What drive us wild is noise not lyrics. Anyone can cook up a ballroom beats but stringing words together to make meanings with lyre is where talent comes in. The kid and the rest are all media-hyped, hence their short-lived in the scene. Once the hype is all evaporated, they vanish with the vapour. Good music outlive any artiste. The bold part is typical of Nigerians. They are typically docile and ready to settle for less because creativity, innovation and originality is believed to be impossible in Nigerian setting. |
Reno was a member of GEJ's. He made a comment earlier on Yabuku, GEJ and EFCC. Could he have made that comment in not privy to information or sheer denial of truth? If he had valid information and still made such unpatriotic comment, then Reno is simply an apologist and a self-implanted time bomb waiting to explode. |
It's only the enemies of Nigeria and the most corrupt Nigerians who oppose Buhari's government. They shall all be put to shame! |

Jibril659:My people from the east & south, they preferred our brother who did nothing other than to give license for people to plunder our common reserve under his leadership. Nigerians are despicable species. Instead of all of us to support PMB government for his bravely stepping on BIG toes in order to move us to acceptable level of sanity and progress, some of us are casting aspersion on his person and frustrating the governance. There's no better time to inject change into our system but NOW. PMB, we the good citizen from the east, south, north and west are behind you solidly. Even if your two terms of 4years each would only be used to reduce corruption in Nigeria, you have our support. Wishing you Godly health to continue His work you were called to do for Nigeria. Long live PMB! Long Live Nigeria!! |
Government alone cannot gather for the teeming population in Lagos. There's nothing wrong with the danfo buses. It's the drivers who have problems. If government has problem with danfo yellow color, they should go ahead and change it. What Lagos needs are regulations to check the excessive of the danfo drivers. Even with BRT buses to supplement and gradually push the danfos out of Lagos, the government has still not succeeded in catering for the transport need of Lagosians. Let say the government succeeds in this quest, the same danfo drivers would be hired to manage the buses on discouraging hired purchase rate. A lot of families would out of food. Regulation is way to go |
Someone summarise. Believe me, Nature can never be cheated. Old age has caught up with her. |
Rockyrascal:Sheer misuse of productive hours. I am not jobless |
The subject should have read - The highest paid bank CEO in Nigeria. N117M is nothing compared to what most non-banking sector (esp telcos & IT company) CEO's earn annually. |
From the images the OP posted, if that's the cross-section of Nigerians, then the number is too infinitesimal. The protesters can be said to be jokers |
nickxtra:Lagos Igando, Oshodi & Ejigbo are notorious for ridiculously ludicrous but dreadful marital cases. God help us |
Tbillz:If you were not born with a silver spoon, you are a nobody, until circumstances locate you and lead you to fame. |
NaijaElba:Nice one! Even in the USA, people are proud to be associated with the army. Wearing their camouflage is a solidarity to the Army. Nigeria Army kicks against civilian wearing the camouflage in order reduce extortion and assault in camouflage. You know, Nigerians like to abuse and take undue advantage of things. Before now, soldiers would be killed and their camo sold or used to extort people and motorists. Some bloody civilian/police would even used camouflage to impersonate the army. I am proud of the Nigerian Army for arresting those soldiers involved in assaulting the physically challenged civilian. The best call would have been to hand him over to authorities to be sanctioned rather than manhandling him on the street. |
sarrki:Exactly! Nigerian politicians and self-acclaimed 'leaders' are simply despicable. They take advantage of the Rule of Law to live above the rule and wreck havoc in the country. They don't give a hoot about anybody except their selfish interest. Where their interest is not protected, they look the other way. What baffles me more is the rate at which we citizens blindly support them in their quest to squander our common wealth. We lash at the Federal Govt for prosecuting these corrupt guys and embarrassingly shouting 'witch hunting' instead of supporting the fight against corrupt leaders. We are our own problem |
BlackSeptember:Which country are you from Sir? |
ipreach:A lot already been condemned, going by the way the so-called men of God go about extorting money from gullible people |
sarrki:But Dogara was part of the system since 2007. It would have been apt for him to say "we spent N2.7 Trillion to put Nigeria in darkness". Nigerians are not truthful to themselves and are not ready to face the truth. It was laughable for 2Face (who is part of the problem) to propose leading a protest against a government who barely settled into office to work. Most Nigerians think governance is bean, especially in a multi-ethnocentric enclave called Nigeria, where allegiance and patriotism are selfishly pursued. Where citizens don't believe in the existence of that enclave as a single unit. Yet, we want change overnight but our attitudes are change-repellants. Nigeria is on the right path to greatness once again. No pains no gains. Time will tell whether we like it or not. For now, we deserve what we are. |
Op, the real truth is participants have been scammed of their hard-borrowed money. MMM is dead. Participants should count their pains and move on |
Wake up from sleep... |
One of the characteristics of legitimate wealth is 1. Idea, hardwork and blessing. This conspicuously eluded MMM believers. That's why they crashed-land. |
But MMM participants believe MMM is not dead, it's in coma. They are expected to be paid once it wakes from coma. The student should continue to PH, she will be GHed when MMM wakes. By the way, Op is it your money? |
olaolulazio:There is bro...Penile Cancer |
contactmorak:The report is not correct!!! Totally baseless With considerable certainty, the reporter did not carry out enough investigation before putting up his subjective opinion. How was the research conducted? What where the yardsticks? Consequently, most Lagos hotel prostitutes are living larger than an average girl on the street feigning girlfriend/boyfriend to prostitute. Even larger than an average corporate female worker living in Lagos and Abuja, hence the upsurge in diurnal and nocturnal prostitution in Lagos streets. Girls want to live the life. The images above may not genuinely be from Lagos. That being said, an average girl in Lagos neighborhood who is into boyfriend/girlfriend is more prone to STD & HIV/AIDS infections than an average hotel prostitute in Lagos. I still doubt the report is borne out of investigative journalism. |
orlarbissy:Amen |

He would end up earning himself the gift of grave for trespassing... Not everyone laze away, whine and expect alleged mass protest to change his situation. |
anuma1:Dude, you live and dine with unclean spirits. Just kidding...all the same unspeakable |
Am not surprised. A lot of despicable politicians are role models to most Nigerians. Certain politicians even in conviction where given royal celebrations on their way back from serving jail terms by Nigerians. Nigeria, a country where riches are worshipped like gods irrespective of the sources. Am not in any way surprised |
Papasmal:So you feel your ONLY contribution to good governance is mass protest? Go on and let see how far that can take you in this country called Nigeria. Looking forward to the date Otherwise, let give this government a chance, our best. Buhari means well but enemies of Nigeria want him to fail. Am not a partisan or ethno-centric Nigerian, but one of the proponents of good governance by all inclusive. Good governance starts with each and everyone of us. |
Whoever advised Tuface on this mission is not wishing him well. Governance is not beans. It's not about throwing money on the street for the people to scramble. Things don't just work overnight. It takes time. I personally believe this government will work. Changing an habit will bite for a time, but with determination and endurance it pays off at long run. Mass protest is not the way out. We are far too divided. Nigerian will and can never unite for a strong revolution. Let shun ethnicity and hate, and play our own part as citizens. Our brother would not have done anything differently if he was the president with interest of the masses at heart. Patience is a virtue. |
Shame on Nigerians with their f**k up lives. Long live PMB Long Live the Nigeria |
