@officialEFCC threw this query to Nigerians. I was inclined to bring it to Nairaland to sample our opinions. It's unfortunate Nairaland does not have where one can 'add poll' to your comment/post (I may be wrong though) - Seun pls enlighten us. For now, let make do with what it has. What penalties do you think looters of public funds deserve? 1. Forfeiture of Loots and Long Prison Terms (No plea bargain). 2. Death Sentence Like for 1. and Share for 2.

PMB government has indeed brought out the creativity in Nigerians. A lot of Nigerians have been able to identify opportunities and leverage for their advantage, while others identify wailing areas and stay destructively opposed to the government. The policies of PMB are deliberate in order to liberate Nigerians from mental slavery. I was sicked to my tummy when I realised we imported the commonest item as 'Toothpick'. Government policies are uplifting Nigerian economy. I wish we could see it. Nigeria is gradually becoming export driven as opposed to our near-normal import status experienced in the past. This is how real change starts. We will get there. Slow and focus win the race. Long Live #TeamPMB! Long Live #TeamNigerian!! Long Live Nigeria!!! |
Overrated team, overrated coach. It was time to build a new team instead mourinho decided to lavish 89m on a single media hyped player. SMH |
Goaàaaaaaaallllllllĺllll Mod, update score sharperly |
bettercreature:Experience ke. Experience is not crappy. Man U is cruising on luck all the way... |
He's absolutely right. Why bear Christian when you're not Christ-like? Christians and double standard sink to high heaven. Especially Nigerian Christians. |
klanny:Hold celeb like a treasure? Fame if not well managed makes one useless. Before the woman in question married, her dark side overwhelmed what was left of her good side. It's obvious she wasn't able to manage the dark side while married. |
Op, there was nothing new and intriguing in all what you mentioned up there. You don't need to be IT savvy to understand all the above points. I was expecting to read how to send a penniless transfer to a criminal account's who pointed a gun at your head at ATM point. Most criminals in Lagos, especially one chance armed robbers move about with POS machines. We need realistic solutions to commonly realistic situations |
ToriBlue:What are you even saying? You don't just see the opposite sex from afar and conclude you want to marry him/her. Like someone once said, "you look before you leap. Dating is an opportunity to discover the other person and rediscover ourselves. I'm not sure any reasonable person commits to such emotional venture with battered intent". If it fails to work out you move on with your head high up. It was not meant to be. If it works out fine, take it to the next level. |
Monjerk:Sensational journalism - a conspicuous feature of Nigerian journalists. |
WorldRichest:The first question to Badeh would have been, are you the owner of the bag containing $1M? What Mr. Lasun argued up^ there was trash, fits for LAWMA. I hate lawyers... It makes me wonder how the children of these incurable corrupt officials face the society in the wake of all these revelations against their parents. Seems corruption is endemic in Nigeria.

lalasticlala:Hahahahaha! Premiumtimes has joined the bandwagon of bloggers. They decline using the seat belt. The ride is going to be rough Money was for Buhari's tithe |
EazyMoh:Political parties in Nigeria are wiser now. They don't waste resources on unpopular candidates. They look for candidates who are popular (not necessarily a politician). 2019 elections would be very decisive. A candidate with faulty antecedence would fail woefully. Come to think of it, there is no opposition in Nigeria for now. PDP is dead and buried. It's not good for the country |
EazyMoh:These candidates don't stand a chance. Their antecedents work against them. Unless the people's mandate is hijacked by the cabal |
VP Osinbajo does not give his personal orders. He does the biddings of his boss. He consulted with his boss before giving orders. I don't understand why some of us are hitting up the polity, trying to make it look like PMB was incapable of making sound decisions. |
This guy is an award winning comedian. ...MMM what have you done eh eh oh. My landlord is back again eh eh oh...Jesus MMM do me willy willy chai |
How do you even pronounce schizophrenia? Some of these guys are suffering from this disorder. |
vani86:Must you follow the majority in toeing the path of wrong? Why can't you be the right in the midst of myriads of wrong? It would be such a fulfilling honor. Strive to do the right thing and not the best thing, then would our yearning for change be realised. Peace brother! |
Check out his packaging - his haircut na die (mafia-style). His dressing (thuggery). He will do well as a full time activist than a journalist |
If Naira to USD drops to 350 at least, I would believe we are out of recession. Every expensive items (even Kuli Kuli) in Nigeria falls on the interplay of Dollar & Naira. I was shocked when Iya Nkechi increased the price of her groundnut from N50 to N120 same container size and blamed it on Dollar Exchange rate. |
We needed no court here to tell the government what to do. Forfeiture should not include the whistleblower's 10%? Else you enter into bad business |
MicKaro:Thanks for your thoughts |
chinma414:You are absolutely 'Multiple-in-One'. You are very far away |
MicKaro:We are too docile, any one can exchange poo for our hard earned money. We worship mediocre thereby directly encouraging more mediocre. Nigerian artistes are all cult-personalities (media hyped), they got nothing creative to offer. Asa makes good music, but she can't sell in Nigeria - our understanding of talent and music doesnt consider Asa. I listened to CoolFM this morning because a friend requested I should - that he was going to call the station on relationship issue. During one of the programs, I heard a lady who claimed to be a rap artiste full time, Something 'kokoice' (dunno if that's correct) . I was hard on myself and full of regret after listening to her freestyle on air. Nigerians were actually calling to congratulate her on her upcoming album. Damn! What exactly will be the contents of the album? Definitely noise. We deserve what we get. |
MicKaro:Do we even make music in Nigeria? Music died in Nigeria in late 90s. We make noise now my friend? Why should I invest in noise when I can get it free in Lagos bus stops and street corners? Sir, I understand your plight, we are a people known for giving credit to mediocre. We lack taste for talent and creativity. |
Upon all the Universities in Nigeria, educated slowpokes are still the majority. Trump had phone conversation with PMB and that suffice. Am surprised people are still raising foolish issues on this...'Trump is silent on the conversation'. Seriously?? Are you kidding me? SMH |
Fayose to also speak in ignorance instead of fact No wonder the country is still backward...the kind of people we call leaders are despicable lots. |
So, Lagos State government cannot subsidize transport fares to Lagosians as a measure of ameliorating the hardship for the people? Yet they intensify efforts in collecting taxes from businesses in Lagos to service the same Lagbuses. It's sad! This singular move by LAGBUS Management/Lagos state govt will encourage Danfo Bus drivers to also review their fares upward. Lagosians, tighten your seat belts for more hardship. Transportation has ripple effects in Lagos life. |
The happiest people are the singles, any day, any time, any season #SingleRocks |
EazyMoh:Whoever snitched this Yakubu of a guy made more than N245m. If he made less than 10% of amount made known to the public, then the guy is not a good negotiator. |
Elxandre:YOu think so? Each to his own. Personally, 'Hello' is better |
Elnino4ladies:You got taste in music and creativity. Sia is one of the best this generation has offered. She has 8 Grammy nominations so far to her name. Wondering why she has never won. There is more to Grammy judges than we know. |
