My friend trainee was sent to get a pouch for my phone. He saith this was the only one available at the moment. It was more expensive than normal pouch. The price was discussed over the phone without seeing the pouch and I obliged to pay for it. On seeing it, we both were surprised it is ladies pouch. But I can't waste more time so I chose to keep it. My guy wanted to remove the shinny stuffs and beads attached at the back but I told him to leave it. I intend to swap it with a lady I helped charge her phone once In a while that uses same model of phone but she has not come around since I got the pouch.

I have been using the pouch but it has been attracting so many attention. Women claim it, men rejects it. Even miss independent is telling me to remove it

I don’t think there’s any foul play here. I think the man died of cardiac arrest. The woman might’ve panicked, left in a hurray…not sure about her taking his phone with her….could be to remove anything that’ll incriminate her if his phone was searched but she was naive in that the police would still get access to his call log from IT experts…either way, they’ll get to her…

The hotel staff/management panicked as well because of NPF’s reputation to arrest and extort ‘everyone’ around the crime scene…they wanted to protect their business as well from the bad publicity…..as it is, people like me wouldn’t patronise any Good Samaritan hotel anywhere in Nigeria.

Except a part of this building has been dedicated to celebrate and showcase Igbo culture, there seem to be a disconnect between the cultural intention and architectural language of the Ohaneze building.

Elements such as columns or pillars, designs and patterns on the wall and ceiling/POP, symmetry and proportions give the building at least what the video was able to show us a distinctly Greco-Roman character.

They should’ve incorporated some or strong Igbo identity in the patterns, symbolism and choice or materials….Look at the cream coloured faux leather chairs, why not use leopard patterns, or some animal skin patterns on them…Why not use some Nsibidi writings or patterns on the wall?

This project hasn’t really communicated much message with regards to Igbo culture to anyone who’s unfamiliar with Igbo. Even Igbos wanting to learn one or two things wouldn’t be able to learn anything new here.

I see Rochas Okorocha’s influence all over this projects.

If I knew the architect and the interior decorator, I would gladly avoid them.
