Fashion / Re: Lady Harassed By Some Young Men Over Outfit She Wore To A Bus Park (pics, Video) by KosiGee(m): 5:03pm On Feb 21 |
EreluRoz: What if this is some sort of social experiment!! Look at the two main guys in that video. They had similar hair style, their clothes contrast with that of the park workers…yes they could be passengers…but one of them was apparently harassing her, provoking her while the other one tried to calm her down. Even the way the big guy was inciting and spraying water at her look suspicious. This could’ve been staged. If it was, it’s been well acted. If this wasn’t scripted, then I’ll think this girl would come back with either some police boss that visits her products regularly or some really bad boys with lots of ammo to storm that park and wreck havoc. |

eazzzy1: Would this girl dress and walk the street of Kano, Kaduna, Katsina and some other northern states?? Her dressing was highly provocative and inappropriate. Why would a young girl like this be showing off breasts like that? 58 Likes 3 Shares |

Beauty: N200 Intelligence: N500 Faithful: N300 That’s how I’ll spend mine. To hell with big boobs and big azz. Genevieve is beautiful. She’s well made without big azz Stephanie Okereke is beautiful and well made without big azz and cosy Orjiakor boobs Mitchel Ihezue is beautiful, tall and elegant. She doesn’t have big boobs and big azz. Kate Henshaw is beautiful, slim and athletic without big azz and big boobs. Rita Dominic is beautiful and class without big azz….To hell with big azz and big boobs. What’s the obsession with those?? In fact if big boobs and big azz go for N50, I’ll still choose the women above. |

Nice2023: His immediate death wouldn’t solve anything. He and his mates might be renting accommodation in that part of the town or one of them might be renting and the others would be squatting with him in which case the landlord might not even know or recognise this unfortunate one. They should keep him alive but show him enough terror and pain to break him down. He would provide good information. The others are still very dangerous. One of them might even be around there monitoring the event and the principal people involved in the jungle justice. 1 Like |

Nice2023: His friends and colleagues are still at large. Why would they kill him? He would provide very useful information about the identities of his colleagues, his victims, how they collect ransoms, where they keep their victims etc. It wouldn’t right to kill him just yet. |

money121: You are more concerned with the price of cement! Labour was N200 Welder was N105 Water tank was N120 And labour cost for the roofing was N1,500…one thousand, five hundred naira 😳 You could drink a bottle of Coca Cola for less than N1 and Guinness malt or Vitamalt would’ve been about N1 or N1:20. There’s nothing so surprising about that list. 2 Likes |

mrvitalis: What about the massacre at Nimbo when Ugwuanyi was governor?? What about the recent burning of rice field in Enugu state? Have those bandits been caught? What about fulani’s atrocities at Lokpanta?? These are major ones, minor isolated cases like the kidnappings around Nsukka-Enugu roads as the op pointed out! What about them? There evil activities are not limited to Plateau state, middle belt and south west. They are all over Nigeria. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Business / Re: Why Are Bank Accounts Called 'aza' In Nigeria? by KosiGee(m): 6:00am On Feb 15 |
saddler: I don’t think or believe that aza means account number in Igbo but as for when Igbos started using account umbers or banks You were probably born yesterday and your grandfather was probably born before 1960. What is wrong with people like you? Banks came into Nigeria before 1900, this was before Zik, Awolowo, Ahmadu Bello, Louis Odumegwu Ojukwu were all born? Igbos and other ethnic groups were trading and using the banks as at then. Does it mean that someone or some of those active bank customers at the time didn’t have names, words or terms for certain financial/bank operations? Banking operations didn’t start today mister and you didn’t have to be a graduate or highly literate to use it then. Do you not have a word for bank in your language Igbo word for bank is Unoaku. This has been in use before your great grand father was born. |
Business / Re: Why Are Bank Accounts Called 'aza' In Nigeria? by KosiGee(m): 5:46am On Feb 15 |
Showguyz: Your argument is childish and saying that account number was invented in this modern makes you look silly. Firstly, like I’ve mentioned before, I’m Igbo but I’ve never heard or seen any of my folks use the word aza to refer to digits, numbers or anything associated with banks/bank account. Nevertheless, Igbos have been trading and using the banks before you were born and before Nigeria gained independence. Banks have been in existence in Nigeria and patronised even before 1950s and much earlier than that. Are you saying that people who use the banks then wouldn’t have coined a word for bank accounts? There would’ve been terms for such but I’ve never heard of aza being used in that context. As an Anambra man, I’ve also never met any Anambra man or been to any place that use that word…that’s for all of you saying Igbos are ‘dragists’….but the fact that I’ve never heard or seen anyone use it doesn’t mean there might not be Igbo people or some places who use that. I can’t speak for everyone….it’ll be nice for those providing dictionary translations to also help us by mentioning some parts of Igbo land where this word is popular. |
Business / Re: Why Are Bank Accounts Called 'aza' In Nigeria? by KosiGee(m): 4:25am On Feb 15 |
ogbonti: Yes, you are a tribalist, instigator and Igbos should avoid people like you in real life. You could be worse than people like Reno Omokri. If you had to use Ahmadu Bello’s bitter and hate filled speech to back your paranoia, you could be worse than him. I’m Igbo and our language is vast. I’ve NEVER of any Igbo person use the word aza in the context that it’s being claim and discussed here. If anyone know the town, people or place that use that word, kindly mention them. I don’t think it’s enough to Wikipedia. Mention the Igbo towns/people who use this word. |
Business / Re: Why Are Bank Accounts Called 'aza' In Nigeria? by KosiGee(m): 4:15am On Feb 15 |
HNICEARTH: Contradicting myself?? How?. We learn everyday sir. In the context that it’s being used here, I didn’t think it was Igbo word however, you’ve provided links or sources to back up your claim. I mentioned that it doesn’t sound Igbo just like ‘Olayinka’ doesn’t sound Igbo but you know that Ola has a meaning in Igbo. Ayodele also doesn’t sound Igbo but if you break it down, you’d get a weird meaning. I’m not disputing your claim. I’ve never heard any Igbo person refer to piggybank as aza. 1 Like |

Watianoengineer: You forgot that Emilio Nsue scored most of his goals against the Ivorians who later became the champion. Victor Osimhen is a good player, he isn’t overrated, if Nigeria’s midfield was good, the pressure wouldn’t have been on him that much. He fought for the balls and his effort resulted in most of the goals that Nigeria scored. 4 Likes |

charlesemeka85: I’ve been reading a lot about Nwakali on this forum. I watched him in age group football. I’ve also watched him play a few matches for the Super Eagles. Pls what’s so special about him? I’m just curious. I wish to see him live his dreams, play in a bigger club and contribute to Super Eagles success but watching him, sometimes I wonder what’s special about his game. Maybe it’s me, I rated him high but I don’t think he has developed and improved as a footballer. 1 Like |
