Wickedtruths:Just for a sec, imagine the uproar if Lagos or Oyo state government had entrusted such a huge project to an Anambra or Enugu state developer? Imagine the uproar if an Anambra or Enugu state developer had done exactly the same thing to the Lagos or Oyo state government!! |
Bizmind95:It’s embarrassing reading certain opinions here. How can a grown man believe that Diaz or Chukwueze deliberately missed the penalty?? |
0Brien:That Bruno penalty was worse than Chukwueze’s penalty. Ivan Toney would’ve strolled the ball into the right side of the keeper. I think Bruno had already chosen power and the direction. |
Ossai has so much improved. The guy is a bundle of energy, highly tenacious, super fast, full of courage and solid. I’m impressed with him and the rest of the boys. If you want to enjoy a beautiful game of football and one of the best the super Eagles has played in more than 20 years, watch the match against Algeria with Mayrez and co. Ossai was a delight to watch. He gives you so much confidence when dangerous players like Mayrez, Salah and Marmoush come at him. He’s not one to be buliied. I pray he comes to England, Spain or Germany with tempting and serious offers from the top teams. The Eagles did well in Morocco. We should be proud of them. Lots of fans called Nwabali, Iwobi, Simon names…now those fans are singing their names. My only regret is that these boys won’t be playing at the World Cup. Btw…Ola Aina is back from injury. |
chicfarmer:You are talking of 9 children. Matawalle actually has more than 30 children. Below are the sons and daughters.
|
Mgbimgbi……Aguata/Orumba of Anambra state |
osothermal:It’ll be tough one for Nigeria. Last AFCON (2023) was between two west African countries: Ivory Coast and Nigeria. Morocco has a huge advantage, apart from playing at home, they have a solid national team with their top players doing well in top leagues and they are rated the no 1 top team in Africa presently and amongst the top 15 best national teams in the world. |
SmartPolician:Wike is notorious for unguarded statements. He is a pathological liar. |
GOLDSON888:Ben Iroha to replace Taye Taiwo and Uche Okechukwu to replace Stephen Keshi… I’d also replace Kanu with Victor Ikpeba…Kanu is a god in super eagles but he can be a bit slow. |
Jerryblaq:Stop spreading false information. You don’t know how things work in the Uk. Btw, that woman isn’t a labourer. You’ll need CSCS certification which I’m sure that lady doesn’t have. She’s not wearing the correct gear. No helmet, no high visibility vest, work trousers or safety boot, no gloves. |
Watching Nigeria play, you’ll wonder why and how this team didn’t qualify for World Cup. |
Ameboperoo:Algeria has a good team but Nigeria made them look ordinary. Super Eagles are playing one of their best games. Total dominance and they are playing very well. |
NOETHNICITY:Tuface Idibia and Pastor Chris Okafor will do it for them. They don’t need 1000 Nigerian men. |
jmoore:Do you believe that ADC has what it takes to unseat Tinubu in 2027? |
olabrad:Are you not embarrassed by saying that wasn’t AI? How many No 10 players did you see in the video? Did you watch the match? What colour of shirt did they wear during the match? |
IduNaOba:Stay off social media. It’s not doing your mental health any good. Are you truly an Igbo man? What kind of question did you just ask? How could you? Your reasoning is embarrassing for an Igbo man. |
BabaO2:Maybe it’s time to replace him. Get your gloves and goal keeping kits on and show Nigerians and all football lovers how it’s done. You guys can moan and criticise everything. |
Shedrack777:No one said that. You did. You’ve been itching to put it out there and you’ve achieved your goal. |
Kam2021:That’s waste of public funds. Why not gift him a cow instead or a bottle of his favourite drink. That car is expensive and Wike doesn’t need that. |
Apcshit:How old are you? Are you sure you celebrated this Christmas well? |
helinues:Hypocrisy is when you support the action of Nigeria government but condemn Peter Obi over his statement and opinion. |
[quote author=SpyMaster1 post=137907181 In our daily lives, we put on this facade of being all serious, disciplined, and "moral." We judge others for "partying too much" or "living recklessly," yet when the lights dim and the festivities kick in, we're right there in the mix. Is it society? Religion? Fear of judgment? Or are we just hypocrites who deny our true selves to fit in? I'd love to hear your thoughts, Nairaland. Have you had similar experiences? Do you think hedonism is our default mode, or is there more to it?[/quote] What has your observation of witnessing people of diverse age groups enjoying the festive season, having a sit out and enjoying meals in peace has to do with living recklessly and partying ‘too much’?? There’s a contrast between your observation and personal assumptions. This is festive and holiday season and people of all ages are enjoying themselves outside. This is good and of benefit to their mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing as opposed to your assumptions. Being disciplined and serious doesn’t mean you can’t eat, drink and chat with friends and family. You did not witness any strange or dangerous behaviours. You just added that. |
ERockson:Where are the COWS? Where are the COWS? Again I ask, where are the COWS? |
This must be AI. No one can be this ugly.
|
deluckiest:God bless which Adamawa state governor? If US didn’t intervene, do you think Mr Jackson will smell freedom under Fintiri? If Mr Moore didn’t come to Nigeria on a fact finding mission, do you think his release would’ve been made that possible and if Mr Trump didn’t voice out, do you think Arewa leadership and Adamawa state government would’ve set Mr Jackson free?? Give kudos to US government under president Donald Trump. Tinubu came in saw all the evil happening but he kept quiet as he didn’t want to upset Arewa, Sharia and miyetti allah….Mr Sunday Jackson should thank God and US government and also the activists who kept the pressure otherwise he would’ve been killed ages ago. Left for Tinubu, he would’ve look the other way while the north continue to persecute christians up there. |
Putindbutt:Which ‘same people’?? I support Peter Obi and I think Malami should be in prison for a long time after forfeiting the money he stole from Nigeria. Why do people like you reason and type dumb? |
Super Eagles attack has been blunt. Osimhen should give way. He has tried his best but this isn’t the game for him. |
ruggedtimi:Average wages of EPL players per week isn’t up to £100k. Don’t be confused by what the likes of Saka, Salah and Harland earn. Have you considered the pay checks of teams like Wolves, Burnley, Sunderland etc The figure isn’t up to £100k per week. |
ruggedtimi:That’s not true. Average annual wages of English premier league players is far less than that even the top earners don’t earn up to $48m a year. |
Tayorshd87:That’s not true. N100 was a large sum but that house/property was given away. That wasn’t a lot of money for a property even in 1978. They were privileged in my opinion. It’s almost like being close to the ruling government and getting a house allocation for about 5 million naira today. |
