Beauty: N200

That’s how I’ll spend mine. To hell with big boobs and big azz.

Genevieve is beautiful. She’s well made without big azz
Stephanie Okereke is beautiful and well made without big azz and cosy Orjiakor boobs

Mitchel Ihezue is beautiful, tall and elegant. She doesn’t have big boobs and big azz. Kate Henshaw is beautiful, slim and athletic without big azz and big boobs. Rita Dominic is beautiful and class without big azz….To hell with big azz and big boobs. What’s the obsession with those??

In fact if big boobs and big azz go for N50, I’ll still choose the women above.

U are right but I am saying this, because if it gets to the police men...he would be releases.

His immediate death wouldn’t solve anything. He and his mates might be renting accommodation in that part of the town or one of them might be renting and the others would be squatting with him in which case the landlord might not even know or recognise this unfortunate one. They should keep him alive but show him enough terror and pain to break him down. He would provide good information. The others are still very dangerous.

One of them might even be around there monitoring the event and the principal people involved in the jungle justice.

Why are they still keeping him alive?

His friends and colleagues are still at large. Why would they kill him? He would provide very useful information about the identities of his colleagues, his victims, how they collect ransoms, where they keep their victims etc.

It wouldn’t right to kill him just yet.

Fulani know too well they can't touch Igbos

Ever wondered why bandit haven't attacked igbo settlements in the North? Even Boko Haram dont dare ... Igbos that get hurt are just cross fire no attack targeted on Igbos

If it was pre 2006 Igbos would have been target practice

In fact there is a section of Igbos praying for attack targeted at Igbos in the North

The preaching of the Gospel would start from the North

What about the massacre at Nimbo when Ugwuanyi was governor?? What about the recent burning of rice field in Enugu state? Have those bandits been caught?

What about fulani’s atrocities at Lokpanta?? These are major ones, minor isolated cases like the kidnappings around Nsukka-Enugu roads as the op pointed out! What about them?

There evil activities are not limited to Plateau state, middle belt and south west. They are all over Nigeria.

Yes....! this's it; aza meaning the place one saves or keeps one's money, that is Bank. it is edo dialect. "i khian aza do re igho" meaning in Uromi dialect (I'm going to bank to collect money)

Just out of curiosity, what’s the word for money in your language??
Business / Re: Why Are Bank Accounts Called 'aza' In Nigeria? by KosiGee(m): 6:00am On Feb 15

Account number in a Nigerian language?

When did the concept of Account numbers come into use that igbo language has a word for it?

I don’t think or believe that aza means account number in Igbo but as for when Igbos started using account umbers or banks You were probably born yesterday and your grandfather was probably born before 1960.
What is wrong with people like you?

Banks came into Nigeria before 1900, this was before Zik, Awolowo, Ahmadu Bello, Louis Odumegwu Ojukwu were all born?
Igbos and other ethnic groups were trading and using the banks as at then. Does it mean that someone or some of those active bank customers at the time didn’t have names, words or terms for certain financial/bank operations?

Banking operations didn’t start today mister and you didn’t have to be a graduate or highly literate to use it then.

Do you not have a word for bank in your language

Igbo word for bank is Unoaku. This has been in use before your great grand father was born.

EMEKA I EVEN SAW YOU FELLOW CHUWU HERE SAY AZA IS IGBO FOR ACCOUNT NUMBER PLEASE FELLOW NAIRALANDER WASN'T ACCOUNT NUMBER INVENTED IN THIS MODERN ERA BUT IN BENIN IT MEAN A PLACE WHERE YOU SAVE Money EVEN IN ACCIENT TIMES. SO OBI CRY YOURSELF TO SLEEP

Your argument is childish and saying that account number was invented in this modern makes you look silly.

Firstly, like I’ve mentioned before, I’m Igbo but I’ve never heard or seen any of my folks use the word aza to refer to digits, numbers or anything associated with banks/bank account.

Nevertheless, Igbos have been trading and using the banks before you were born and before Nigeria gained independence. Banks have been in existence in Nigeria and patronised even before 1950s and much earlier than that. Are you saying that people who use the banks then wouldn’t have coined a word for bank accounts?

There would’ve been terms for such but I’ve never heard of aza being used in that context. As an Anambra man, I’ve also never met any Anambra man or been to any place that use that word…that’s for all of you saying Igbos are ‘dragists’….but the fact that I’ve never heard or seen anyone use it doesn’t mean there might not be Igbo people or some places who use that. I can’t speak for everyone….it’ll be nice for those providing dictionary translations to also help us by mentioning some parts of Igbo land where this word is popular.

God bless you -- those here claiming "aza" as their language even when we know it is a Bini word are making me believe to some extent what Ahmadu Bello said about them ---- this is why the "GOOD MAN" Obi may find it very difficult to become Nigeria's President of Nigeria because his people are busy making enmity for him ----- there is something about them- feeling so superior above everyone - not a good thing undecided

before anyone call me a tribalist here - please follow my history on nairaland - I have always been Pro-Ibos here - BUT on this blind argument on the word "Aza" - which they are claiming so blindly - I am watching their behavior now with keen interest angry

please watch below

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_odAy4rVz8&t=7s

Yes, you are a tribalist, instigator and Igbos should avoid people like you in real life. You could be worse than people like Reno Omokri.

If you had to use Ahmadu Bello’s bitter and hate filled speech to back your paranoia, you could be worse than him.

I’m Igbo and our language is vast. I’ve NEVER of any Igbo person use the word aza in the context that it’s being claim and discussed here.

If anyone know the town, people or place that use that word, kindly mention them. I don’t think it’s enough to Wikipedia. Mention the Igbo towns/people who use this word.

"but this word doesn’t sound Igbo"

and your proceeded to use the word as an igbo word in an igbo sentence as example. Even though it has another meaning in that example.
Dont you think you are contradicting yourself?

Below is an igbo dictionary that states the meaning of aza in igbo with also an example.
I think you should try and study your language very well.

Contradicting myself?? How?. We learn everyday sir. In the context that it’s being used here, I didn’t think it was Igbo word however, you’ve provided links or sources to back up your claim.

I mentioned that it doesn’t sound Igbo just like ‘Olayinka’ doesn’t sound Igbo but you know that Ola has a meaning in Igbo. Ayodele also doesn’t sound Igbo but if you break it down, you’d get a weird meaning.

I’m not disputing your claim. I’ve never heard any Igbo person refer to piggybank as aza.

Emilio Nsue plays in Spanish 3rd tier league as a right back yet he scored most goals in the nations Cup playing in an unfamiliar striking role. Our own fraud and so called African footballer of the year Osihmen just dey run around like headless chicken without any significant impact at the Afcon. He better remain in Naples and be scoring his Tap ins. No wonder napoli management named that winger their best player. Osihmen na overhype

You forgot that Emilio Nsue scored most of his goals against the Ivorians who later became the champion.

Victor Osimhen is a good player, he isn’t overrated, if Nigeria’s midfield was good, the pressure wouldn’t have been on him that much. He fought for the balls and his effort resulted in most of the goals that Nigeria scored.

I just got this update from my supplier . Let the Government do something about building materials prices. If not cost of house rent will be unbearable in coming years,l. Also people will be tempted to cut corners and it will lead to more building collapse.

We should put cement on export prohibition list and customs should instensify effort to ensure people do not succeed in exporting scrap iron as this is the raw material for making Nigerian iron rod. Also finished iron products (iron rod, beam and sheet) should be put in the export prohibition list so that the prices of these building materials will not be influenced by the exchange rate so much

What size of building rod is N1.2million? What size and what length?

From the comments, most Nigerians are coded criminals with awoof mentality. How do you buy solar components without requesting for receipt knowing fully well that they could be stolen items. Buyer should be arrested.

It’s not like they bought it from a total stranger. They knew the house, the family and were probably there when it was installed. I think the brother deceived them into buying the panels. How wicked can someone be? What if he gave them fake receipts of the solar panels?

I think this family genuinely bought the solar panels believing whatever story the thieving rascal sold them cos if they knew his intentions, they wouldn’t listen to him knowing fully well that the rightful owner would discover the panels on their roof.
