If the governor can reclaim all the public parks that were sold and converted to residential areas by past administrators, some public schools that were sold to real estate companies could also be recovered.

In the original plan for Enugu there were parks and playgrounds in most neighborhoods, but I was told they have been sold and houses built on those lands. Most public schools had large playgrounds; those playgrounds were carved up and sold by previous governments.

God Almighty bless you abundantly for this. I’ve opposing the past government’s actions concerning how the likes of Chimaroke, Chime and Ugwuanyi treated green areas, public parks, public schools lands etc.

I marched at Polo park as a kid, had fun riding on the merry go round, watched JJ Okocha as well as Ogbuke and Solomon Okoronkwo play football there…I was shocked to learn that it’s been sold to and occupied by shoprite….as well as Polopark, Phoenix polo ground is no more, parts of Okpara square, the green areas around Rangers Ave opp Zodiac hotel have all been abused and sold.

Same thing happened at Ngwo park Uwani, Nnaji park New Haven, parts of these recreational areas have been sold. Significant portion of lands originally belonging to Maryland secondary school have been sold amongst many other schools.

Someone need to reverse the evil done to these places and the corrupt and evil people who bought these lands made to pay huge fines along with forfeiting their properties
