7. Easy Media and File Transfer

Have you ever heard that beautiful song that you have been searching for a long time suddenly play on your friend's phone or you will really like to have that video or file transfered from his phone to your phone right now.

With an Android device you absolutely have no problem, all you need to do is to put on your blue tooth or your flashshare.

But with an Iphone that simple process is much more complicated, just try it and see.

6. Cheaper Options

It is a well known fact that Iphones are expensive and there is little we can do about that for now but the fact remains that you can easily get some very good quality Android phones with high tech specifications for half the price of Iphones.

This is purely a matter of choice, but hey let's think about those millions of people without enough money for an Iphone but need the functionality and power of a high end device.

5. More Options

You have a lot more hard ware options to choose from when it comes to Android phones from 6 inch QHD screens to Curved displays and bended screens, the choice to choose is yours to make.

4. Launchers

You can easily customise your Android phone screen, feel and functionality with launchers. There are dozens of launchers to choose from.

Iphone peeps may not really know or understand how these works.

3. Expandable Storage

A lot of Android phones have easily expandable storage in addition to the on board phone storage. This means that you can easily move around with your media and have unlimited fun and control, we even have devices expandable by up to 128Gb and more in addition with various cloud storage platforms and OTG capability.

Try and add a memory card or OTG capability to an Iphone and you will know the true meaning of 'Mission Impossible'

2. Replaceable Batteries

It is common knowledge that batteries degrade over time and with constant use, we know that most Android phones have easily replaceable batteries which you can change without stress.

But try and change an Iphone battery then feel free to come and narrate your ordeal.

We are aware of the constant war between Apple Iphone and Android devices and how opponents and proponents of each always try to strangle themselves.

Although each phone has it's advantages and disadvantages, let us take a closer look at the real world and try to be realistic for once:

1. Perfect Sync

We all know how useful services like Gmail, Google Maps and Google Calender can be to us and it is common knowledge that they sync better on Android devices than on Apple devices.

Also Android phones get the best features first in updates before Iphone users.

If you're a YouWiN! 3 awardee and you're kicking against GEJ, the thunder that will fire you is doing press up!

A YouWiN! 3 awardee from the North just reacted to the throw back below by saying GEJ is sponsoring BOKO HARAM. Imagine an awardee saying that??

Well, after he receives his YouWiN! grant, it will met away like an ice. Period

I don't like religious bigots and that's that!

Pls take any political argument out of this thread. And for your info there is still freedom of speech.

The fact that you gave someone money and helped him does not mean you will not have your differences.

Lets remember that.

5. Go to your Whatsapp menu select Settings>Account>Privacy. Under the Privacy tab uncheck the 'Read Reciepts' tab. Then you are done.

Note that this feature does not apply to group messages and members of a group will still be able to know when you have read group messages. And also note that if others cannot see your blue ticks you cannot see the blue ticks of others too.

It seems Whatsapp has finally listened to the complaints of their customers.

It is no longer news that Whatsapp has introduced the double blue tick to signify that a message has been read. This feature was quietly introduced by Whatsapp and it has met with a lot of hostility by their users.

Just as quietly, Whatsapp is now allowing it's users on the Android platform to disable this function and will be included in their next update.

However if you cannot wait that long it is already available on Whatsapp's websit and here is the procedure:

1. Make sure that your phone is running on Android 2.1 and above.

2. Go to the Settings menu on your Android phone and enable 'Download From Unknown Sources' in the Security tab.

The below image is for the Samsung Galaxy Note II.

Business › Huawei To Manufacture Next Generation ATM Machines For Austrian Banks by Krak(op): 12:22pm On Dec 14, 2014

Chinese technology giant Huawei has signed a deal to provide Austrian banks with state-of-the-art Virtual Teller Machines (VTM).

These next-generation ATM machines provides video-phone options between banking staff and customers and has the ability to scan document and fingerprints. It can even print out new ATM cards for customers.

These new features are incorporated in part to overcome the early closing hours of banks and because the increasing popularity of online and phone banking options has led to the actual closure of several physical bank branches, especially in smaller towns.

This VTM technology will allow for such services previously only available in physical bank branches to continue to be available after bank closing hours.

These kinds of machines are already widely used in countries such as Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.

Seriously

I don't belong to any political party too....

Most of us spend so much time online without knowing what other electorates think. We assume the next person wants change as much as we do.

NL which is among the top 10 most the most visited site in Nigeria, has less than 1.5M members, which is less than 1% of our estimated population as a nation. Of the numbers of registered NLDERS probably about less than 150,000 have PVCs to effect the change / continuity they want.

I just pray for a peaceful election here in Benue and Nigeria as a whole.

You have a point here.

But I do not forsee a peaceful election, especially in Benue State. That is why I declined to do any kind of INEC Electioneering job during this election.

I know what I experienced during the PVC distribution in Makurdi which is childsplay compared to what is coming up in February.

Here in Benue state, the locals don't have access to the internet...all they know is PDP.

If APC campaigns would be taken to the grassroot and sensitize indigenes with their brand of change, the PDP won't have an easy ride.

Wrong...am also in Benue State. And its not only PDP that they know.

In some localities of Thailand, scorpions are cooked with spice and onions for serving as a delicacy to discerning diners. Rather than complain about the ready availability of scorpions in your house, you should snack on a few of those scaly beasties, and share your observations about taste and texture in the culture section of this forum.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Mr Mamywater husband, this is not Thailand, this is Nigeria.

How many scorpions have you eaten?

Do I need to say that this is a serious situation for me and my safety and I need serious, helpful and practical contributions on my predicament.

Thanks for your cooperation.
