GeneralKoko:
I'm also very passionate about changing Nigera. Since you share similar vision with me I'd like to know you better .
There are two solutions;
1) The masses waking up to realize that we are far greater than those in power , both in number and in might . We can push out the current leaders of Nigeria if we unite.

2) A military coup!!
We need to plan both simultaneously. If we can't win the 2027 election , we kill those in power.
It won't boil down to coup at all bro...

I wish every Nigerian youth will discover that the future of Nigeria lies in our hands rather than putting a lot of zeal and interest in things that don't really matter. I wish we can work hard together and see that our dreams come true by trying our best to vote for the right leader for Nigeria in the next presidential election, let's not give up already on this great nation. We're her future, remember your vote counts. When will we be as serious as we're with BBN when it comes to our dear country Nigeria?

Please brothers and sisters let's try and save Nigeria from Gerontocracy, crisis, embezzelment of public funds, corruption, poverty, lack of basic amenities, high inflation, starvation, unemployment, lack of quality education and perpetual debts. Udo diri unu!

The saying above is just an addage; ignore the exclaimation though. Its a popular Nigerian saying that has its messages.

No matter where we're in this life, we should not be in a haste to forget that we don't know where next we'll meet the person we come across today...

This is food for the thought.

Be nice to anybody you come across any time, any day, 'cause you don't know where you'll see them next, you could need their help tomorrow or vice versa.

I remember some of my seniors back then in high school, whom I entered college before, it dosen't really matter, actually you can't guarantee where you'll meet someone any time. Beware it dosen't end where it started...

Peace!

RomanceReasons Why People Lie. by Kranediggy(op):
Why have majority of people formed the habit of lying?

This is way too bad, and the worst aspect of it is that; 'habit is second to nature' and a good number of persons lie, its now like lying is a must skill for survival in human daily activities. The worst part is that most times lies are better believed than the truth. Many lie to everyone including their loved ones and themselves, nowadays to see a person that is at least 80% honest is like looking for a superhero. Why my people?

What's your scholarly or any take on this?

Christianity EtcGod Talks To Us Everytime, But... by Kranediggy(op):
Do u know that God talks to us everytime?

Yes he always does, it can be thru dreams, thru our fellow human beings, thru the bible, thru prophets, clergy men & women, finally signs & certain circumstances. The reason why we don't notice at times is 'cause we don't always pay attention & many a time we don't answer his calls, 'cause we ain't aware that its our Father in Heaven that calls us, just like Samuel in the old testament.

Don't get me wrong. The Holy Spirit is the greatest guide the son of man needs, that's why Jesus Christ urged his Father to send us the Holy Ghost. The panacea is to make sure we love God & our neighbours, obey God's commandments & finally to pray that God gives us his grace by marking us as a sons or a daughters with the Holy Spirit. Once we have the spirit of God in us, we'll always know when God speaks to us, without needing an 'Eli' by our side.

Make we remember to always read & also listen to the word of God as faith cometh by hearing.

ImaIma1:
What of the scenario of my very close friend. She wasn't well to do but she married someone that had done well for himself. In fact I hooked them up because they were both my friends. He was my childhood friend. I even gave the toast at their wedding( the second wedding I did that cos I hooked up).

And they are doing well. That's why when I see all this talk about it has to be someone you start small with, I don't agree because I have seen the real life people I know.
Don't be confused. I didn't say must, matter of fact, I said if you want to wait; its ok, but develop yourself while waiting, that's what I said pls. Not everyone will be as lucky as your friend.
RomanceRe: Why Women Hardly End Up With Their Dream Men... by Kranediggy(op): 11:13am On Aug 14, 2020
ImaIma1:
I still disagree.

So if she falls in love with a guy that is made and he's also in love with her, she should refuse the love because he is made and go for a man that is just starting up.

Don't get me wrong o. I am a realist. I like to look at things from all perspectives. I didn't marry a made man. I picked between one that I was even earning more than over the one that had successful business because of my personal conviction.

And today, he earns more than me and we are fine. But, I have close friends who married the ones that were made and they are doing fine. I didn't see anything wrong in marrying up. It is not everyone that will start small...
That's it, ur own scenerio is a perfect e.g of what the thread is all about. U made the choice & it played out well for u. Am not against a woman being compatible with a made man or falling in love with him, some peeps are lucky but not every1 will be that lucky. The thread will help stop certain mistakes.
RomanceRe: Why Women Hardly End Up With Their Dream Men... by Kranediggy(op): 8:44am On Aug 14, 2020
ImaIma1:
There is no word there o.

Haven't you seen stories here of marriages where the woman started with the guy when he had little and when he became rich, things took a downturn and he abandoned her. While some end well. And don't you know people who didn't have to suffer poverty one bit who are enjoying their marriages still. While some don't turn out well.

There are no guarantees in both. Marry rich or marry poor is a choice that women should be allowed to make without being shamed. After all, some men will say they want a woman that has an income while some are fine with her doing nothing.
In such scenerio something must be wrong somewhere, it could be that the man is bewitched or the woman did something really painful to him he can't forgive. Nothing really goes for nothing. Ain't nothing guaranteed in life tho. But its better to grow with ur man, than wait for an already made man. If u must wait, develop urself so u'll be valuable. Thanks
RomanceRe: Why Women Hardly End Up With Their Dream Men... by Kranediggy(op): 8:07am On Aug 14, 2020
ImaIma1:
Ladies are of different types; the ones that can have the patience to grow with someone and the ones that cannot. It has always been that way right from our parents' time and it will still be.

Not all ladies will grow with someone and they shouldn't be faulted for it. The ones who choose to start from small and grow with their men, it's their choice too. And there are no guarantees in both. It doesn't mean all the marriage with growing together will end good and it doesn't mean the ones who married a rich guy will turn out bad.

Besides, who will marry the single rich guys? Should they remain single because they have money.

Everyone should be allowed to make their choice and live with it.
Don't get me wrong dear, I ain't making any choice for anybody here, but a word is enough...you know the rest sha.

I don't see anything special in the story about the 24 year old who has a wife that stood by him. It's stuff that happens everyday. Many wealthy men you see started from small with their wives; Fela Durotoye, Innocent Idibia, etc.

Nothing exceptional at all about the soldier and his wife.
There's nothing special about them dear. I just used them as a real life e.g to show that ladies shouldn't reject a man with the features they want in a man 'cause he's not rich or has certain properties. Once he can feed himself, u & ur kids; u just have to accept him & build with him, in essence be his helper. Most successful men weren't that successful when they married their wives, u need to support ur man. The thread is all about enlightening the younger & single ladies to not attach material things to their definition of a dream man, 'cause it's better to marry ur dream & grow with him, than marry some1 'cause of his material posessions, u'll feel the gap for life...

RomanceRe: 5 Amazing Reasons Why Self Love Is Important by Kranediggy(op): 12:45pm On Aug 10, 2020
Here are 5 reasons to love yourself.
1. You can't love others if you don't love yourself. You can only give what you have.

2. It reduces your stress. For instance if you're stressed, you can take yourself out to shopping your essentials, a special lunch or dinner. Its not only meant for your partner, friends and relatives.

3. It will bring out the best version of you.

4. What others think about you can't influence you.

5. It will give you a clue of what being loved is like.

Believe me if you love yourself and love others as you love yourself...you'll always be filled with bliss. Love is the greatest virue ever...

True love is sacrifice, its not rosy at all...
Romance5 Amazing Reasons Why Self Love Is Important by Kranediggy(op):
When most people hear about self love, they wonder how possible it is for a person to not love his/her self. But actually there're people who don't love 'emselves. These're signs that shows u don't love urself;

1. U Don't Take Good Care Of Urself: Its not all about money, just eat right, exercise & avoid unhealthy feeding & activities. Many people don't care about these; its really not good at all.

2. U Don't Rest: Many people don't rest, they hustle 24/7. Make out time to rest, its good for ur health.

3. U Always Put Others 1st: Its a very great virtue to be selfless, but sometimes u need to look out for urself, not on the detriment of others; but carry others along.

The bible instructs us to love others as we love ourselves. The clear fact is that one can't give what he/she dosen't have, therefore if u don't have love in u or live in love; u can't love others. The best act is to love urself 1st, by that u'll know what being loved feels like & also love others as well.

Do more of counselling than caining

Children of these days are no longer afraid of constact caining

You can as well deprive him or her of favourite things, why you get for the obedient ones

You can still make promises and fulfill it when they achieve a goal

If you must cain, do so when and where necessary and he will feel it because its not regular

Always remind him that the cain needs to be warmed and give him to keep it

FamilyThe Best Way To Correct A Child... by Kranediggy(op):
Good morning Nlanders.

What is the best way to correct a child?

The bible said 'spare the rod and spoil the child', but here in African many parents, foster parents, grandparents and guardians have taken their own wiping (not sparing the rod) to an extreme level; this is reflected times without number on the news, for instance you'll see something like; 'A woman damages the skin of her nephew with cane' also the case of an uncle that used cane (rod) to destroy the body of his under 10 years old niece is a perfect example.

I think children should be wiped (caned) right. Because most times too much wiping makes children to lie and pretend. Bring a child close and correct him/her when he/she is wrong and cane only when right.

So I say, what do you think about this fam?

Let's talk about it...

It's so fucking pathetic.....

When they make the same mistake, they won't shout at themselves.....they will only give excuse.....

Alot of parents really need psychological check up and training .....

Any little thing they beat the child ....meanwhile it's easier to hold the child close and point out and teach the child the right thing
We need to better parenting this 21st century.
