KANO,July 6,2013(AFP)-Gunmen believed to be Islamist from Nigeria's Boko Haram insurgent group killed 42 people,mostly students in an overnight attack on a secondary school in restive Yobe state,a medical worker and residents said saturday.

"we recieved 42 dead bodies of students and other staff of Government secondary school in Mamudo last night.Some of them had gunshot wounds while many of them had burns and raptured tissues" Halim Aliyu of the Potiskum General Hospital told AFP.

Few moments ago,a blogger posted on her blog that Paul Okoye of P-square music group accepted the baby alledgedly bore to him in london few weeks ago by one former beauty queen from Jos,Plateau state named Elshama.

Contrary to report,the publicist of paul has confirmed to Nigeriafilms.com that the lady in question in the picture holding the baby is actually Anita,not Elshama as reported by bloggers.

According to the publicist,Square Image Association(SIA),"the lady in the picture holding a baby is Anita,not Elshama".Anita is Paul's real baby mama,who gave birth to the singer's first child in early 2013 in America.

The publicist wondered why some bloggers would stoop so low to wrongly inform the general public and their readers.SIA also frowned at the way people are killing the noble profession of journalism with obviously untrue and unfounded information,which they feed their readers and general public with.

Few weeks after Anita gave birth to paul's first child,a new website reported that Elshama was stranded in a london hospital,where she had gone to give birth to a baby she claimed to be for the sensational singer.

The police in lagos have arrested a 68 year old man,Anthony oyeniji,for allegedly shooting his son,Taiwo oyeniji,22.

According to police oyeniji used a pump action rifle to shoot his son in the hand at their home in Akowunjo area of the state.

The suspect however said he shot his son because he(son) tried to kill him with a kitchen knife.

Taiwo,whose hand was fractured by the bullet,was rushed to Igando General hospital for treatment.

A police report made available by PUNCH metro stated that the incident occured at the family home located at Oyeni steet.

The report stated that "on June 20,2013,one Taiwo Oyeniji, of 5 Oyeniji street of Micom Bus stop Akonjo,was reported to have carried a knife and threatened to kill his father,one Anthony oyeniji,a 68 year old.

"In the attempt,the father carried the pump action gun and shot him in the hand and disarmed him.The father has a fire-arm licence but it has expired.Taiwo has been taken back to Igando General hospital where an x-ray confirmed that he sustained fracture on the left hand.The matter is under investigation at Gowon estate police station"
The police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide confirmed the incident.
