Yeah, I think Hazard is slightly better, but both are quite similar and it would make no sense for Madrid to sell a player and bring another that is similar as his replacement.

Nah, Benz although his finishing is lax, brings balance to the team by occassionally drifting wide to accomodate Ronaldo's movement in the box; and Ronaldo has said he doesn't like the CF role as it inhibits his movement. Isco is a great addition to any team; his close control and dribbling is world class too. We wouldn't have won the double without him. James is good too, but not good enough a starter for this team; so he is the only one that would and should probably leave.

I don't how how you want to arrange your team, but Redondo will not get into any Madrid team of any era ahead of Luka Modric. No long thing.

Luka modric is IMHO Madrid's greatest midfielder. Man is a fvcking genius; and his partnership with Kroos is orgasmic.

If he wins the Balon D'or, he wins only because Real Madrid as a unit was spectacular this season, and not because he played better than Leo.

Recency effect would also work in his favour as we tend to remember and be more influenced by the first and last ithings/items on a list or series of events. And since the UCL is the last major tournament of the season, tonight's win will be more remembered and ultimately result in more biased judgements.

Congrats to Real anyway. They deserved it. That stout demon called Modric is something else.
