Anyways, whilst we are all engrossed in the whole Neymar saga, locate and comfort the nearest Barca fan you know. It has been a torrid year for them watching their arch-rivals do the double(successfully defending the UCL trophy in the process), and now the imminent departure of one of their star players. You never know, you might just be saving a life. |

DarkRebel69: You lie. You only think it's a good move because you've been misled into the false notion that such could potentially mean Real's worries in El Clasicos would drastically lessen, forgetting Barça still anally raped you guys in the last La liga meeting, in your own turf, and without Neymar.
Neymar leaving does my frontline no damage. When I have Paco Alcacer? Omo ni bobo n'yen. The worst it does is unravel the MSN acronym. All we ever needed was a creative attacking midfielder to replace Iniesta – someone of Coutinho's calibre – and a rock-solid defense.
Messi had to learn from Ronaldinho as well. It paid off immensely. That was what the club had in mind when we signed Neymar – to take over from Messi. Leo cannot be at his peak in three or four years from now. Even before then, if Neymar were any good, he should have learned a great deal from Messi and established himself as the best footballer on the planet. It's unfortunate the boy thinks too small, just like you, Krasid. You would rather be king in the Nigerian Premier League where the fields are littered with pure water satchets and gala wrappers, than to play in the Champions League, a pond for the big, important fish. Barca could win a million clasicos for all I care, l would remain unfazed as long as we win the league title and Barca gets eliminated by other strong teams in the UCL and CDR paving the way for Madrid's success. Messi will not always be 100%, and this time with the MSN disintegrated, there will be no Neymar to come to the rescue( Suarez will dissappoint that I know of). And did you just mention Alcacer as Barca's trump card? Thanks for making me laugh this hot afternoon. How old was Messi when Ronaldinho started to decline? In 3/4 years Neymar will be getting past his peak, he needs to act now. Dinho had to leave for Messi to fully cement his place as Barca's star; there can't be 2 captains in one ship. And yes I would gladly follow my dreams of becoming the best in the world leading a top team than forever being Messi's sideman. The future is bleak; this same Barca fans will come for him when he starts showing any signs of decline, just like they did to Alves. |

His name will be written in gold, he will be immortalized and when he is done his feet etched in football history. He won't be able to get much praise should he remain in Barca. Barca fans already have their god who they constantly praise, save for a few dmcdads who are his fans out of the plethora of Barca fans. Why become a king when you can be a god? Dlordsamurai: Neymar can win the baloon d or while still playing in barcelona even if messi is still in the team, all he need do is to take keep leading brazil to national glory just like what iniesta did with spain in 2010, had it been that barca won the champions league in 2010 instead of inter milan, the balon d or would had been given to iniesta. "so all neymar need do is to up his game both in barca and in brazil. "lionel messi is actually trying to help him as the same way ronaldinho help messi too. neymar needs to be patience, his time will come after 2018 world cup, messi will give the crown to neymar. Let's not decieve ourselves here. Should Barca enjoy another successful campaign just like 2014/15, he will be left in the dark as the 2nd best performer while Barca fans shower their god with praises and worship until he is lifted to the heavens to lift another ballon d'or. 2010? really? And what happened to Sneijder that won the UCL and played in the WC final? |

Chelseafan1: I swear, ur head is correct, as some point, I wished Neymar remained in Barca.
PSG have all it takes to win the Ucl. Walahi. Hazard has a better chance of winning the golden ball if Chelsea should miraculously win the UCL than Neymar winning it with Barca because he is the leader, the star man of the Chelsea team while Neymar is not Barca's leader. Unless Neymar should win the world cup with Brazil which is looking unlikely with their current team. |

Barca fans though, don't y'all want the lad to progress. His mates like Hazard in Chelsea and Sanchez in Arsenal are already leading top teams and you all are content in him being a sideman. Haba. Do you want him to remain at Barca and by 30 his biggest achievement will be a ballon d'or podium finish? |

ddippset: a lot of us have also understood and supported him and not criticized him for wanting out. my posts over the past 1 week are a testimony to that. I wished him very very well until he fought Semedo, until he tossed his jersey on the ground, until he stormed out of training, until he went to party at the real madrid locker room. for doing these 4 things all i wish him from this point on is a very very poor career ahead of him. Hogwash. He is being slated because of his potential move to PSG and because despite the heated rumours he has not come out to deny the move and nothing more. Players going at each other or leaving the pitch in training isn't a new occurence in football. He was still arguably Barca's best performer in pre-season. Cut the man some slack. |

DarkRebel69: Of course, it must be a fantastic decision indeed – and a major relief as well – for Madridistas when a player known to make a mockery of Real Madrid's defense, leaving Ramos and Pepe looking like befuddled idiøts, is leaving the shores of La liga to ply his trade elsewhere.
LOL. You can't even hide the fact that you think his move could mean less heartaches for Real. I wouldn't raise my hopes if I were you, son. But of course, his departure will significantly weaken the Barca team and hence increase Real madrid's chances of another successful campaign. But honestly, Neymar leaving Barca to PSG will be the wisest career decision he will make. PSG are looking for a king and a star; Neymar ticks all those boxes. Why be Messi's sideman when you can be a king in Paris and possibly be immortalized should you lead them to their 1st UCL title. So you see, everybody wins(except you are a barca fan). |

And saying PSG stands little or no chance of winning the UCL is utter bullocks; certainly not the same PSG that gave the barca team a run for their money, and if not for the tactical ineptness of the coach and ironically the brilliance of Neymar they would have qualified for the next round. With Neymar another addition to a strong team, I see PSG going far and possibly winning the trophy for the 1st time. |

Fantastic decision by Neymar to leave Barcelona to PSG. I see a lot of Barca fan criticizing the lad and I wonder why. He is 25 and time is ticking; if he really wants to have a chance of winning the Ballon d'or then he has to be the leader of a decent team and there is no way he will be the leader of this Barca team as long as Messi is around(honestly, I don't see Messi slowing down until he's 35). Come on, the man has his own ambitions too. At 25, the likes of CR and Messi were leaders of their teams and had at least one ballon d'or. But all Neymar has to show for his dazzling display is a podium finish. |

As a kid I always enjoyed playing street football whenever we closed from school, but would keep a watchful eye for my dad's car to abscond whenever he arrives since he didn't approve. One day, I was enjoying myself with my normal routine oblivious of the fact that he had arrived; suddenly I heared 'Krasid, krasid, your dad is here'. Flummoxed, I bolted without looking at his direction and went to shower, but it was too late as I had already been sighted. Came out of the bathroom unclad with dad waiting for me with a cane. One of the worst days of my life...That didn't stop me from still enjoying my street football though. |

That fixture is not so bad to me but the first half is when we really need to perform before going for the world club cup. The fixtures next year is really packed so lets do well in the first half and see how it goes.
Our main goal for next year is to perform domestically especially to retain la liga, we have seen and done it all in the champions league. We definitely need a back up striker to support Benz. Who do you recommend if not Mbappe? |

dmcdad: Cúnt! I never compared Neymar's goal to Messi... I just asked him a question using Messi as the bait so that he would commit himself, which he rightly did.
Meanwhile, I guess it's th3 same hype that made him score so many goals with Brazil. Do you know how many Brazilian legends he has already surpassed? If Neymar's case is the definition of hype, then I wanna be hyped or overhyped all my life.
The outcome or the importance of a match doesn't necessarily determine if the goal would be the best or not. Else, Messi's goal against Bayern, where he turned Boateng would have been the best for that year, yet it wasn't even selected. Please name the Brazilian legends he has surpassed. Until Neymar delivers at least 1 World cup trophy for Brazil, then he has surpassed zilch. Scoring a gazillion goals in meaningless friendless changes nada. Wonderkid my foot. |

dmcdad: Ohh crap! Stop spewing this mumbo-jumbo about Pèlè's influence. Jeez! Enough already!
As beautiful as Rooney's volley was, you can't put that against a solo goal where someone dribbles nearly half of a team to score.
Now tell me.. What do you think Puskas award is about? It's more about the technique of the goal than any other factor. Tell me... Rooney's goal against Messi's against Getafe, which would you give the Puskas to? Your answer settles it all. Neymar's goal against Flamengo was nowhere close to Messi's against Getafe; yes, his goal was great, but Rooney's was better. Not forgetting that Rooney's goal was a winner in the derby, whilst Santos still lost 5-4. All these factors are important in selecting the winner, and based on all possible criterion Rooney should have been the winner. We get that you are a Neymar fanboy, but it's true that Neymar has been hyped the moment he scored his 1st senoir NT goal for Brazil. Let it go. |
