I have gone over previous parts as far as I can, but I still can't find the part that talked about the exact processing time for a Canadian study permit emanating from Nigeria and heads to Accra, Ghana. And then again, how long does it take for an applicant who didn't do an upfront medicals to be called for medicals after submission of applications at CVAC/VFS office situated at Manor Hall, Lekki Phase 1. Please candid response(s) will be highly appreciated. Much obliged

as for when u'll be called for medicals...No one can say exactly, But all application review and medicals lies within this 14weeks time frame...cheers

That's not true. Your SOA print out date must not exceed 30days(1 months) from the Visa application date.

I intend to use my uncle as sponsor.

He gave me a his company statement of account with a closing balance of 7m.

I demanded for his personal account buh he told me he doesn't often use his personal account and as such funds doesn't run through the account.

In addition to his company statement of account he also gave me the CTC of the certificate of incorporation of his company plus CTC of the particulars of directors showing he is a director in the company.

Although I also intend to use my dad as sponsor.

He also has a closing balance of 1.5m in his personal statement of account.


Please kindly advise on whether I can get a trv with my situation.

Your inputs will be most appreciated.

well...pls if possible, let ur dad boost up his account some more...
and ur affidavit of support mst be strong...if possible u can let ur sponsor state how much he's willing to help u with..
and if u have some cash in your own personal SOA...it will surely help some more......!!!!

pls take it along with you as well as a passport photograph as far as u are an online applicant...and make sure you go with your atm card..cos they dont receive cash..

but if u submitted via paper route....i do not expect u to have ur passport with you....CIC will send u a med request slip...

@ Kriss77 please after you submitted your passport for TRV, how many days did it take to be ready/out for collection?

i got a message for pickup after 48hrs....
buh it is always advisable u give them another 24hrs...so they wont give u story or get disappointed.

I stumbled on this great forum with much joy, to the fact dt I can get an answer to my friends problem.
He is travelling to Canada to study, but when he submitted his application last month, he dad was sick 2mnth ago, and during d cause of treatment, his dad was diagnose to ve Hepatitis "B", so dad said he shld do d test too then, so he tested +ve too. He took some drugs then.
Duo, his dad is fine now, but he is concerned. I told him I will help him get more info on NL. So, please, house will this affect his application when called for medical.
I did some research on it, seems Hepatitis "B" is a virus...contagious....
I need ur help house.

This happened to a friend of mine dat was denied last year!!!

wen he was called for medicals....he went and did the medicals...though he has been treating dz hepatitis B for sometime even before he went for the test...buh yet....after completion of the normal test the hospital referred him to conduct some further test on his hepatitis level which he spent extra 65k....buh alas..he was later refused on incomplete medical examination, along syd with personal asset and financial status..

to diz end...the so called hepatits B is a red flag.

jst go there with the pp request letter and your passport....

then when going back there to pick up your passport..u'll take the vfs receipt along with you...cheers!!!!!

i first got a pp request..den i went to submit on tuesday....now diz morning i got dat msg...dat my passport is ready for collection

submitted my passort at vfs on tuesday....now i got a mail dat my processed passport has been dispatched to canada visa application centre..
and when i tracked my app.....it says my processed passport is ready for collection.....deep sigh

it depends on schools...
u can go through ur student guide very well..
some schools allows you to pay what u av with you...and den gives u another deadline to complete d instalment.

buh if ur stay in canada is gonna exceed like 6months...den u'll need to do mediacal test i guess.
biometric is sure.
u'll only submit ur application i guess...buh i dey need u for an interview...dey'll contact u...
