I beg to disagree about the hymen aspect- an intact hymen symbolises a female virginity, but broken ones doesn't mean that a lady has had sex before. A hymen could get broken through a strenous activities.
A female virgin who engage in an athletic events is likely to have her hymen broken during an exercise.
Virginity being associated with intact hymen is a myth which has been debunked.
