adigun98: Hello Fam,i plan on applying for student visa to Canada but I honestly don't plan on studying really cos of the high fees,i need advise on how to go about it cos my real motive is to work and perhaps get married..please I need advise on how this works really God bless you as you take your time to reply I actually dont think its a good idea to go through this route. Express entry will suit your aim which is to work. But If you want to go through study, please focus on that and go to the school, others will align alongside. My little advice. All the best |

Frankrobbn1: It's no longer a news that GCMS note now takes 90days to be delivered. This is as a result of the huge request/demand been placed for it by prospective applicants.
Applicants that can't wait for their notes to arrive in three (3) months time, can work with the generic reasons that were highlighted on the refusal letter and demonstrate how their current situation has substantively changed.
It will end in praises. Definitely.. Thanks Frank |

I could in a way sense the feedback from it from those that have put up theirs in this forum. Cannot keep waiting for them. |

Let me use this opportunity to say a big thank you to all the contributors in this forum and my short prayer is whatever that is saying NO and NO to the YES of GOD in our endeavors shall be frustrated IJN.
This platform gave me JOB in 2008 and now a supernatural breakthrough in my life.. May God bless the founder of this platform.
My advise to all Canadian student VISA seekers should just read some of the threads as i read thread 16 from pali to pali(2x) and then back it up with prayers. No need to waste your money to hire agents as all what you need is in your "sokoto" here.

... Yes on Saturday I leaked a vital information which we don't let out to the public but you counter it....
Who are the "we"? you be visa officer? lol
"...IRCC have a list of universities in Nigeria which they give preference for study permit..."
Do you have proofs to this or you came about this conclusion just because you happen to know few people from federal universities that got their visas approved?
There are thousands of study permit applications to Canada from Nigeria and you cannot use the few people you know in real life or on Nairaland to make such conclusions.
Meanwhile, I did a little digging on you. You claim to be a first class graduate from a federal University in Nigeria working in a multinational company. For someone that knows so much about Canada (you know the list of universities the visa officers have), I am shocked you are trying to process Germany student visa where you need blocked funds and not Canada where you can easily use 150,000 naira SOA to get study permit (according to you).
Anyways, I wish you all the best in your Germany study visa application. This is quite interesting. I guess we have derailed totally. Please lets put an end to this and be nice even in our words. |

Frankrobbn1: Applying Mid-December against Spring or fall intake 2020 is a good step in the right direction. Please be well informed that the visa officers at the Canadian embassy will be on break starting December 24-27th and will all travel to spend time with their respective families for the Christmas celebration. During this period, all immigration process will be paused and would resume fully after the festive period.
It will end in praises for everyone. Well said . |

peaceful22: Please can someone just share a success story? I'm so discouraged with so many refusal flying up and down.
A little boost to keep some of us that just applied alive, my battery of hope is almost drained due to all these negative reports. I'm literally a nervous wreck. You need not have/entertain such fears and worries. Your case is different. Its actually funny that some can still apply and get it approved despite the filled quota while some that have applied can still share positive news as well. God has the final say. All the best to those awaiting feedback. Keep hope alive. |

Frankrobbn1: I regret to hear your study visa was refused the second time. Please put yourself together as this is not the end of the road, but a stepping stone towards your TRV ladder of success.
I strongly advice prospective applicants who were refused lately of their visas to defer their admission to the next available term 2020. I feel the Canadian embassy have reached their quota for 2019. Why do i say so? This is because even the best/well packaged applications with full funded scholarships are been turned down on a daily basis at this period of time with generic/flimsy reasons within the space of 2-3 weeks. An applicant contacted me lately and narrated how he spent over 500k in Naira equivalent with the services of an immigration attorney in Canada but still his application was refused with same generic reasons given to Nigerian applicants.
My sincere advise is that you defer your admission and let's hope for a fruitful 2020.
It will end in praises. Thanks Frank. Having said that, who hopes to apply for December against 2020 . |

Morning guys, please i have a question. Sometimes i get confused with who to address any letter with respect to the visa application to. Does it really matter who it is addressed to when applying online? Most i see is "Canadian High Commission, Visa Section", some " Canadian High Commission, Visa Officer", Some Lagos address.. Please does it really matter?
Will appreciate a feedback. Thanks in anticipation. |

Biometrics 10th August BVL Correspondence letter 30th September, 2019 Submitted all applications required by CIC In my LOE tab, i submitted the following;Police Certificate, SOP (Motivation letter), Transcript, CV, IELTS, NYSC Discharge Cert, NIN Slip, School Cert and Study leave from company In POFA brief summary of what i am about to submit to them, School part scholarship and Part fee paid to institution, Affidavit from my brother (sponsor), a sponsorship letter from him as well, his UBA account with an amount that can cover my tuition and living expenses, his FBN account just to show his financial stability, my savings in Stanbic mutual fund, my zenith and GTB account statement all in a cumulative sum of about a million plus, salary payslip and my internship and offer letter. Did not no any upfront medicals thou. Also need a work permit as my course demands that so submitted my LOA in that section as it expressed that i will need one. Was refused based on the 3 generic reasons others were writing; Based on family ties, based on purpose of visit, and current employment situation.. Meanwhile i was refused a US visa twice and i checked it while filling the form. I said i was denied a visa to US but did not state the number of times with hope they will find that out themselves and i was restricted with the number of words that can enter that space. In summary, i intend reapplying and will need the gurus assistance. Thanks |

i don’t know if anyone knows much about the toronto school of management?! i want to apply for the acca program there?! but i feel they might not grant a visa for such program. it’s a program i can apply a visa for but it doesn’t just seem strong enough reason with this new waves of denial. kindly advice if you can. If you start feeling something negative about the application, will advise you search for another school. Remember, we bring to life anything we think about. So please guard your heart and always be positive no matter what. I applied too to TSoM and got admission.. Waiting for my medical request mail. |
