safarigirl: she may like being viewed in that manner. There's no harm in cursing, but dammit follow it up with some intelligent words. Swearing doesn't make me d-umb, Pokello swore and she still had that respect, but when I start shouting to the world on how I like to straff and the size of my cl-it, you know I have nothing else to offer. Someone acts slutty and I should call her a lady, those words are in the dictionary for a reason yo! Ksslib, my apologies Lol. The day you ll repent is when shekau converts to Christianity. No worry, next year you go represent us. You and JJ, sorry ochon. |

ninnyanny: LOL...first of all...i knew u werent taking sides sir....see it from this angle...these ladies r already on the house and they knw nothing about what we r saying abt them...now would calling them names change a thing? wouldnt it make them appear worse than yal think they already are? Well, ts all good though. Just keep voting Tayo over Lilian sha. **** picks race*** |

Psychedelia: Well, the only thing I can tell you from my observations, is that the female's "entertainment" factor is only considered when both Nigerian housemates are female. At least, that was the only time the 'sluttyy' Karen was hyped properly by Nigerians for her entertainment value. Morals and carriage are emphasized when the contestants are mixed. Nkenna, as interesting as her stories were, was too 'local'. And I speak with every authority that, had Karen made her debut in BBA8, alongside Melvin, she would've been toast.
That's all I can say about that. Ok this answers it! |

ninnyanny: lol...u cant blame ochon...its so annoying the way some pipl belittle our female reps...the male reps are the UNTOUCHABLES while the females r always TRASH! Little wonder Dillish almost got more votes than bev in bev's own country.yes i understand that when u have two reps,u must have to sacrifice one,but why must it always be the females who get sacrificed?sa chose sammy over nlahlanh afterall.and even when we sacrifice our female reps must we do that with humilation? May God bless karen and bev who rose above hate ,hate brought upon them by their own compatriots. Most annoying of all these is the fact that most of d bashings come from ladies.SHAME!! ''Most annoying of all these is the fact that most of d bashings come from ladies'' Ninny, let me just be open minded a lil here. Note--- I am not taking sides. Like I said I just want to be open minded a lil. Now look at the above quote in bold care-fully. Will you say those supposed female haters are doing it just for the hate/jealousy OR cos they feel the reps in question are painting womanhood in a bad light which does more harm than good in todays world where women are seen as nothing but sex objects? |
TV/Movies › Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by Ksslib(m): 11:08pm On Oct 15, 2014 |
safarigirl: we really should. Imagine someone expecting me to clap for women who have portrayed the average Nigerian woman as trashy, slutty, talkative airheads, Ofunneka and Geraldine being the only exceptions. Would Chimamanda be proud of these women that have failed to show common sense? I know this isn't a morality show, but I won't cheer for dummies just cuz they're women. Haba! I just want a female rep of ours to speak intelligently like Vimbai or even that boring Fatima I understand you though. Saw that thread of yours and I think your beef has a link to how women's attitude play a big role to why sexist act the way they do. Might be wrong though. Anyway its all good. The problem stems from the unfair selection process. |

Psychedelia: BBA2 - Ofunneka - Nigerians didn't like her until Lerato, Kwaku and the other clowns ganged up against her.
BBA4 - Nkenna - Nigerians didn't like her village swag, but they did go all-out for her on that one occasion she was nominated.
BBA4 - Geraldine - Nigerians didn't like her. She was a bore.
BBA6 - Vina - When the pre-season pictures were first released, Nigerians thought she'd be the one; but her British accent, irritating behavior and constant licking of Lomwe's asss made them have a rethink. They still supported her whenever she came up.
BBA6 - Karen - Nigerians hated her the first night they saw her, and her run-ins with other housemates on the first week made everyone believe she was a goner. They were prepared to receive her at MMIA... Until HOH Miss P saved her for that week. She and Luclay became the most entertaining housemates for that season, and the day she left herself up on the nominees table already sealed her fate as an undisputed winner. She is the first and only Nigerian housemate to have received Zimbabwe's vote post-UtiVsMunya.
BBA7 - Goldie - No, we didn't like her. She gave us no reason to. She merely was Prezzo's housegirl.
BBA8 - Beverly - All I have to say is, "LOL". Ah han. This is more like it.. I also like the fact that you highlighted the reasons alongside. Cool. Biko. I have one question to ask you. Having watched BBA seasons over the years, will you say Nigerians not liking a housemate (or rather, hating) is a factor of that particular housemate's personality or gender? |
TV/Movies › Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by Ksslib(m): 10:37pm On Oct 15, 2014 |
safarigirl: they keep sending us shittty girls, Karen was the only fairly good one. Didn't even like her, but most Nigerians did. Why can't we have cool babes? The ones who like sports and hang with guys, the ones who just chill when there's drama everywhere? I just want some OG chic with Eva's vibes. Don't they exist in Nigeria? They do exist but Denrele has refused to let them shine. Getting rid of Denrele is the only solution.. I am not in anyway saying you should kee him but hey! if it comes to that, do what you have to for Nigerian women |

ochon: LOL.. My apologies.. By "Y'all" I meant the few people that've condemned Lilian and those that "liked" those slandering posts against Lilian. I'd have explained better.. Lemme go edit and put it there. Ok. Better. Cos I sense gender drama brewing. |

Something just sparked my curiosity. Pls I need a run down from anyone here.
List all the females ever to represent Nigeria in the BBA game. And dont forget to tell us the ones Nigerians liked , the ones they didnt.
Thanks. |

Ochon you have a point but dont you think your use of ya'all ya'all instead of YOU will open doors for unnecessary generalisation and gender drama here? I mean, only a few here wish Lillian eviction so Tayo can win many votes/ other reasons known to them. Almost everyone here is voting them both. As a matter of fact, those wishing lele eviction are non existent compared to those voting both. Ok! Dont mention names. Just count them and drop a number lets compare. I am not against you airing your opinion against the so- called woman haters who happen to be BBA viewers looking for every opportunity to paint female reps bad BUT you made the whole thing seem as if the majority here are against Lilian . Perhaps I read wrongly. And I know you will reply but I take God beg you.. no epistles. |

Sabina too is sexually frustrated . As a matter of fact, she admitted to not wearing any panties right now and tapped her asss affirming that no housemate will have a taste of it save for her husband. But she forgot to ask if any housemate will want to as much as see her n.@ked in the first place. |

killabeauti: that girl is just a big mumu.. Tayo beat the drum and the housemates had a nice dance section. He got tired and stopped beating the drum, housemates started doing their own tin. Then queen leelee told tayo to beat the drum again and he told her he will do that when the housemates are done sing cos he doesnt want to interfere/spoil their fun, Neither does he want to step on anyones nerves. My lady started yelling the housemates doesnt like or care about you bla bla bla. She said alot of things and even drew the attention of the housemates. For real? Just cos he didnt want to beat drum! How did he react? |
