Not even a rural community. She took pics from a total slum. The rest of PH don't look like that. I was shocked at all the pics . Jeez..

I wonder the aim of this thread ..
Why do you keep calling PH a "total slum"?
You sad you were born and raised in PH. Have you your other part of Rivers State?

Have you been to Town, Borikiri, Bundu Water side, even some part of Mile 4, etc?

Don't tell me no other part of PH look like this.

After all, the Op mention PH.
Most of the good looking areas are in Obio Akpor LGA.... ( Woji, Stadium road, Trans Amadi, Rumubekwe, Golf Estate, etc, are all in Obio Akpor and not PH. This is a fact people don't know).

I have lived in Diobu before. I doubt if any area in Rivers State have the road network Diobu have. Though the houses are very old and look dilapidated due to the fact that, Diobu, Town and Borikiri was among the first area to developed in Rivers State.

I hope I make sense. If not, the floor is open for debate.

Don't tell him to shut up, he's not lieing. I reside in PH. In my street no shops open for business. It depends on the area your brother lives in PH. Not everywhere the curfew affect. The curfew affected my area. Curfew was imposed on certain areas in PH. The Op isn't lieing. It all depends on where you reside.

We all know Wike order all markets to shut down irrespective of the size. Though markets women/men still hide and sell their goods.

TourismMan:
So na so them discharge this man without telling us his name, show us his face or anything identity? Why is Nigeria handling issues of COVID19 in obscurity as against what is practiced in other countries of the world? When Canadian prime minister's wife was tested public, the whole world was let to know. When Mikel Arteta tested positive, it wasn't a hideous issue. Why is Nigerian government concealing the identity of the victims here in country?
Mikel Arteta, Canadian primes Minister's wife are public figures that's why they were made know to the world that they contracted Covid-19. Do you know the names of all the people that were infected with Covid -19 in China, Italy, Spain, etc?

Please people should stop doubting it.

This is a lie. Nigerians in USA represent one of the most educated and well to do Africans in USA.

Go to corporate America companies and you will see Nigerians employed in STEM in google, Facebook, IBM, Microsoft, intel, Deloitte, Dell, Visa, etc.

Go to universities in USA, Nigerians student represent 1st/2nd largest block of African people in the USA and most of them always top their classes. Go to graduate schools, you will see the same.

Nigerians are here doing legit business also and although there are cases of fraudsters of Nigerian descent in USA, but I’m very sure the legit far outnumber the illegit.

Your argument is baseless coz it’s just based on assumptions.
Facts.

Other than Winfred Ndidi and Victor Moses which other player plays regularly in a top league?
Mikel and Ezenwa are a gamble, Onayi below average, Iheanacho and Musa are rusty, Etebo is inexperienced, back line is experimental.
I will gladly take a draw from both legs.
You are aware of the regular play time Ndidi and Victor Moses have under their belt because we (Nigerians) mostly watch English football league. No doubt, most of the call-up players lack playing time in their various clubs. Do you know about John Ogu and Anthony Nwaekeme, both of them play regularly for Hapoel Beer Sheva (Isreal). They are in the UEFA Europa league. I prefer them to those EPL match-rusty players. Infact, anyone that plays always for his club should be called up.

TravelRe: 10 Cities In Nigeria Where Pidgin English Is Most Spoken by Kudanis(m): 4:15pm On Mar 08, 2017
paulavon:
It is not issue of under rating PH Pidgin. The difference is as clear as a Nigerian speaking English and a British man speaking English. It is annoying to hear a PH person saying "leaving me A" instead of "free me",Dey your own , abeg leave me or stay your lane. You also hear a Lagosian saying "shea you sabi me".The beauty of Warri Pidgin is that they have 10 different words or expressions to represent something. Pidgin in Benin are still okay but they listen and marvel when a "proper old Warri" speaks Pidgin.
I understand your point but it also depend on the individual. Those phrase you quoted in place of "leave me A" are still being use in PH by people.
TravelRe: 10 Cities In Nigeria Where Pidgin English Is Most Spoken by Kudanis(m): 10:26am On Mar 08, 2017
I don't know why the guys in this forum from Edo and Delta are underrating Port Harcourt in terms of pidgin language. No doubt Benin and Warri are good in pidgin but there is hardly a pidgin a Benin or Warri person will flow that a Port Harcourt person will not understand. Some folks in Port Harcourt can't speak their dialect, can't speak good english either except pidgin.
....
In earlier pages of this thread, some people(I guess guys from Delta) were talking about the pidgin slogan "u don baff"... I've been using "u don baff" since I was in primary school... Or is it "abeg push me H*, when senior bros shake body I go square you back"?....or "bro, u dey cap careless"....
... To me, these are normal pidgin that everyone would understand. I've met people here in Port Harcourt who came from Benin and Warri, yes, they have unique accent but we seem to relate very well in pidgin.
Port Harcourt rocks in terms of pidgin. Pidgin is the daily means of communication on the street of Port Harcourt.

Please, is it advisable to do medical instead of waiting for medical call-up from CIC? If yes, how will the result be sent to CIC? I applied 30th July and I haven't heard from and my program is not deferable.

beejaybrave: I submitted 31st July.
Reasons like travel history: which I have never left the country
Length of stay and purpose of visit
Family ties in canada nd country of residence
Limited employment prospects in country of residence
Current employment situation
Personal assets and financial status
Please, when were you notify by CIC that your application has been refused. I'm asking because I also applied on July 31st and I've not heard from them.

Where do you guys see Ike Uche? He's not in the team. The news that went round that Ike Uche and his brother has been invited is not true.

Anyway, Mikel Obi should sit on the bench.

Off to first Bank to get my Mastercard!
Again how do I activate my Mastercard for online payment?
The customer care section at Firstbank will tell you what to do to activate your mastercard for online transaction. Probably you may fill a form. That's how I did mine though mine is visacard.
