So Obaze took the day.I am still saying it that Peter Obi should not be under rated. He is a silent dog that didn't believe in making noise, but to deliver. Its not about noise making.Guyz should not be surprised if Obaze win the governor of Anambra State come Nov. 18th,if Obiano do not use power of incumbency and rig the election.

This man is making valid points if the society can listen and take the advice.I have seen a scenario where a man has to go and borrow money to organise a weeding that attracts people, thereafter the man plunged into debts and unable to cater for the family. What is the essence of having lavish weeding if I may ask, when such money can be channeled into an everlasting investment and money yielding business.

On point!!!.A times I do ask whether all these activities and spendings that mark burial of some Christians especially the rich ones are biblical and if such is a yardstick to heaven, unlike our moslem brethens that their own is so simple without such magnitude of spending.

Politics › Re: 'Igbos Will Vote Massively For President Buhari In 2019' - Orji Uzor Kalu by Kulas: 11:17am On Nov 03, 2017
Johnnyessence:
A former Abia State governor, Orji Uzor Kalu, says Igbos will vote massively for President Buhari in the 2019 election. Kalu said this when he appeared as a guest on Arise TV.

' APC has come to stay in the south-east. Buhari’s contest in 2019 is not only for himself but for the south-east. After Buhari’s eight years, nobody in Nigeria can tell us that our region cannot produce the president. Majority of the Igbo people will massively support Buhari in 2019. They did not support him in 2015. But in 2019 they will massively vote for him. I am passing a vote of confidence on him because he has integrity. I am not the only one passing a vote of confidence on Buhari, the APC governors just endorsed him for a second term, the World Bank is supporting what he is doing, so also is the EU, including other powerful world leaders.” he said
Kalu who defected to APC in November 2016, said he did so because of the personality of President Buhari.

“I will add a lot of value to the APC in the south-east. I have been in the opposition for 10 years now. I joined Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA) since 2006. But I joined APC because of Buhari. I joined because of his integrity so as to help grow the party in the south-east'.

Culture › Why Do We(igbos) Love Speaking English Language To Our Fellow Igbos? by Kulas(op): 5:50pm On Sep 22, 2017
One of the reasons i love Yoruba and Hausas is the way they speak their language to their fellow tribes anywhere they encounter them, whether in an office environments, ministries, church, market places etc.Even if its an ordinary person that have an appointment with any of the big wigs in the society, once they know they are both from Yoruba or Hausa, they will speak their language.Same applies to talking to their opposite sex.
But i get pissed off that an Igbo person will meet fellow igbo and initiate igbo language with him or her only for the person to start speaking English. Its very embarrassing, that most times you may meet a high ranking igbo person even in some offices and will speak igbo for person only for him/her to turn you down and start speaking English.Same also applies to opposite sex.Why should this be so?.Are we not proud of our language?,I am a natural proud Igbo man and i got annoyed anytime i encounter such an attitude from our people. Why do igbos love speaking English Language to their fellow igbos instead of their local language?

Thats nonsensical nonsense.

Politics › Re: "PDP Caused Us The Pain We Are In Today" - Senator George Akume by Kulas: 1:26pm On Sep 09, 2017
GidiParrot:
Former Governor of Benue State, Senator George Akume while addressing Zone B APC Women Leaders and their Deputies in Makurdi on Friday, said:

"Don't lose hope in the APC. This party inherited a damaged system that is undergoing structural repairs. Better days will soon be here. PDP Caused us the Pain we are in Today and shouldn't see their party as an option"

Senator Akume was elected governor of Benue State under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in 1999. He was again re-elected in 2003 for a second term in office.

He left PDP for ACN and later to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
