This OP is from Jezebel. I am not a Deeper Life Member but this is one of the churches i respect most that preaches holiness, righteousness and what it takes to be a heavenly candidate. They preach undiluted words of God without whose Ox is gored. OP you are deceiving yourself because probably your conscience is disturbing you because of the kind bullets(preaching against sin) you do hear from them, yet your body cant cope but still indulging in Sin. Why cant you leave them peacefully since your body cant cope so that you can go and enjoy yourself and your worldly life.If more than half of Nigeria atrend Deeper life church, do you think we will be hearing all form of attricities,corruption,immoralities,fornications,adultery,etc,that is eating this country deep. Na wa oooo. With the way religion is going, will it not be better for someone to pray to God in his or her closet and forget about going to Church. Cos even most members have more cordial relationship with God than all these fake Pastors.

I used to think of such.Honestly,stories of pastor this ,pastor that on atrocities do get me scared even to believe or go closer to any pastor.I dont know why it is so especially here in Nigeria.I do ask myself,are these guyz really human beings that will without their conscience blaming them will carry bible on one hand and the other perpetrating and indulging in an act you can hardly believe that somebody that called himself man of God can do.Again,most of these stories we hear on regular basis about pastors are just the one we have seen or caught red handed,what about many of them that are perpetrating such and nobody knows or catch them,of course they are many.I dont know what this world especially Nigeria is turning into in regard to pastor this and that.I only hope on God.

The #TitheAgainstPoverty challenge a.k.a #TAP Challenge simply says we can tithe our nation out of poverty if only we can take the 10% we have been giving to the men of god and give to the poor.
All the while you have tithed to these con men, it has always ended up in Gucci shop or private jet and the likes. Think about one person your tithe can start a business for... Think about a pupil's school fees it can pay... a hospital bill it can offset and do it. Don't give someone to give to the needy... Just do it.

The goal is to put a smile on someone's face and to bring people out of abject poverty not for any God to bless you. If there is a God and he wants to bless you for that fine, if not you are still good.
